Patents Assigned to Wireworld by David Salz, Inc.
  • Patent number: 10002691
Abstract: An improved Ethernet cable with an undulating and folding jacket housing external spatial channels. The undulating housing provides for multiple connection configurations from a flat cable to rectangular block configurations. The cable has a plurality of internal electronic signal channels, each channel having a pair of conductors. Each channel is also further isolated by a multi-layer protective shield, the protective shield encasing the pair of conductors. This unique design meets the new requirements of CAT8 cables, and substantially enhances video and audio streaming and transmission speeds, while eliminating deleterious effects of prior cables.

  • Patent number: 9620262
Abstract: A transmission line cable that utilizes a plurality of substantially flat insulated conductors, each consisting of two or more solid metallic strands laid side by side in a parallel configuration within an extruded insulator. The plurality of insulated conductors are stacked into groups of two or more and may be utilized as signal conductors or shield conductors. Once the insulated conductors are stacked, the stack is twisted together, and either wrapped in a conductive insulator, placed in an extruded non-conductive insulator, or both, creating a cable that is stable, flexible, and has improved transmission characteristics, including reduced attenuation, noise and signal skew.

  • Patent number: 5413503
Abstract: A phono plug is provided having an insulator filled and isolated hollow cylindrical center-pin and ground flanges utilizing at least one elastomeric O-ring which is operatively associated with a groove in the outer circumference of the ground flanges. The O-ring helps bias the ground flanges to provide appropriate contact tension between the ground flanges and a receptacle to provide an optimal signal transmission.

  • Patent number: 5298682
Abstract: A coaxial audio cable is provided having a core, braided inner and outer conductors, dielectric layer between the inner and outer conductor and a jacket surrounding the outer conductor. The inner conductor is disposed around the core at a braid angle of approximately eighteen degrees. The dielectric layer is wrapped around the braided inner conductor. The outer conductor is disposed around the dielectric layer at a braid angle of approximately thirty-eight degrees. The cable is designed to provide a 5:6 overall ratio between the number of strands in the inner conductor and the number of strands in the outer conductor. The inner and outer conductors of the coaxial audio cable are designed to have matching series impedances.
