Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a technique regarding a remote control apparatus for remotely driving or assisting a vehicle by communicating with the vehicle. The remote control apparatus comprises a display device and one or more processors. The one or more processors is configured to execute acquiring an image captured by a vehicle camera and traveling state information of the vehicle, displaying the image on the display device, predicting a position where the vehicle emergently stops when communication with the vehicle is lost based on the traveling state information, and displaying an object indicating the predicted position on the display device to be superimposed on the image. The displaying the object on the display device includes calculating a reliability of the communication with the vehicle, and changing an appearance of the object such that noticeability of the object is lower as the reliability is higher.

  • Patent number: 11951987
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for adjusting the creep torque to maneuver a vehicle to a target location. In various embodiments, the creep torque adjustment mode is deactivated when the driver changes the direction of travel. The change in direction also causes the parameters of the creep torque control to be reinitiated to their initial values. In various embodiments, the creep torque mode is increased from a low creep towards a target creep. If the driver engages the brakes, the input torque is set to zero, and when the driver releases the brake, the minimum creep torque is set to the value that creep torque had risen to just before the brake was applied. This allows the driver to control the acceleration and speed, by just braking. In various embodiments, the creep control controls reverse creep to aid in hooking up a vehicle to a trailer.

Abstract: A service management device manages a service delivered in a predetermined area. The service management device has an operator interface including a display that displays information for an operator and receiving an input from the operator. The service management device communicates with an autonomous robot used for delivering the service in the predetermined area to acquire, from the autonomous robot, service robot information indicating at least a position and a status of the autonomous robot. The service management device displays a map of the predetermined area and the position of the autonomous robot on the display, based on the service robot information. When the autonomous robot displayed on the display is specified by the operator through the operator interface, the service management device displays a status window indicating the status of the autonomous robot specified by the operator on the display, based on the service robot information.

  • Patent number: 11953899
Abstract: An autonomous running vehicle transmits a camera image around the vehicle photographed by a camera to a remote monitoring center. An obstacle is detected on the basis of information obtained from autonomous sensors including the camera. When an obstacle is detected, the autonomous running vehicle is automatically stopped. The remote monitoring center determines, when the autonomous running vehicle automatically stops, whether or not the run of the autonomous running vehicle is permitted to restart on the basis of the received camera video. When it is determined that the autonomous running vehicle can be restarted, a departure signal is transmitted to the autonomous running vehicle. When the departure signal is received from the remote monitoring center, the autonomous running vehicle restarts running.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for developing/updating training datasets for traffic light detection/perception models. V2I-based information may indicate a particular traffic light state/state of transition. This information can be compared to a traffic light perception prediction. When the prediction is inconsistent with the V2I-based information, data regarding the condition(s)/traffic light(s)/etc. can be saved and uploaded to a training database to update/refine the training dataset(s) maintained therein. In this way, an existing traffic light perception model can be updated/improved and/or a better traffic light perception model can be developed.
