Abstract: A bulk deposit can be made at a financial institution based on dealings between a remitter and the remitter's agent. Information concerning transactions between the agent and the agent's customers, is transferred by the agent to the remitter and, in turn, from the remitter to a service provider that is distinct from the agent, the remitter, and the remitter's bank. The service provider can generate a deposit slip and store in a database, information about the slip. This deposit slip is marked with (a) transaction amounts for the agent's customers, (b) the bulk cash to be deposited; and (c) a summary of any discrepancy between the two. The provider makes available to the financial institution at least some of the transaction information including (a) its correlation to the deposit slip, and (b) detail greater than that produced on the deposit slip.

Systems and methods provide a way to confirm whether or not a transaction was actually authorized by the user, thereby settling a chargeback dispute for a previously executed transaction. The method comprises receiving the dispute regarding the transaction including associated transaction data, and retrieving a digital signature associated with the transaction data, the digital signature computed by signing the transaction data. The digital signature is then verified using a public key, wherein the public key corresponds to a private key stored on a mobile device. It is then determined whether or not the transaction is fraudulent based on a verification result of the digital signature.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to investing in exchange traded funds (ETF) using trading blocks of purchases with conditional sales. The present invention determines a number of trading blocks which each define a price of an ETF at which a purchase and sale will be made. Each block defines a purchase price and a sale price. When the ETF reaches the purchase price defined in a block, a purchase of a specified number of shares in the ETF is made, and a conditional sale order is activated so that the purchased shares are sold when the ETF reaches the sale price. The trading blocks can be defined such that the purchase price in each block is spaced thereby causing multiple purchases and sales to be made as the price of the ETF moves over a period of time. In this way, an investor can capitalize on the volatility of an ETF.
