  • Patent number: 7422269
Abstract: A multi-insert cap blow-molding method for molding a hollow plastic product which is integrally formed with elongate fastening members. Each fastening member is seated in a groove defined in a lower mold. Each fastening member is composed of an elongate outer insert cap and an inner insert cap which is positioned in the outer insert cap to be separated from a bottom surface of the outer insert cap and to divide a space defined in the outer insert cap into an upper space and a lower space. A hollow parison is positioned between an upper mold and the lower mold. Hot air is blown into the parison with the upper and lower molds enclosing the parison to mold the parison and integrally fuse a portion of the parison to an inner surface of the fastening member. Then, the resultant product which is cooled, discharged and finished.

  • Patent number: 7364330
Abstract: A spoiler for a vehicle has an integral stop lamp cover. The stop lamp cover comprises a cover body configured to be open at an upper end thereof, and having a stop lamp insertion opening, a stop lamp receiving space, and a flange part formed on an upper end of the cover body; and an upper plate coupled to the cover body, having a size capable of covering the stop lamp receiving space, and defining the stop lamp receiving space and a parison fusing section to which a parison for forming a spoiler body is fused. The stop lamp cover is inserted into a mold when implementing the blow molding process, the flange part is fused to the outer surface of the spoiler body to be integrated with the material of the spoiler without requiring the use of a separate coupling means, and the parison is fused to the parison fusing section.

  • Publication number: 20080031991
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an injection mold for glass encapsulation, which has a variable support unit connected to a pressure control unit so as to support a glass panel with a constant force. The injection mold for glass encapsulation is constructed to put a glass panel between upper and lower molds and integrally form a mold along an edge of the glass panel. The injection mold includes a support unit supporting a lower portion of the glass panel and moving up and down along a support recess which is defined in the lower mold, a shock absorbing unit having a cylinder to press and support the support unit using elastic force, and a pressure control unit maintaining hydraulic pressure in the cylinder at a preset pressure.

  • Patent number: 7311351
Abstract: The present invention provides a vehicle spoiler having a nozzle and a method of manufacturing the vehicle spoiler. The vehicle spoiler of the present invention has first and second surfaces, which form the external shape of the vehicle spoiler and have a hollow space therebetween. The vehicle spoiler includes a support unit, which is provided on the second surface and has a nozzle installation space therein, and a holding part, which is formed in a shape that surrounds the support unit so as to fasten the support unit to the second surface. The vehicle spoiler further includes a through hole, which is formed by cutting part of the holding part and part of the support unit such that the nozzle installation space communicates with the hollow space through the through hole, and a discharge unit, which is installed in the support unit through the through hole and has a nozzle for spraying window washer fluid.

  • Patent number: 7252324
Abstract: Described herein are a spoiler for vehicles and a method of manufacturing the spoiler. The spoiler has a first surface and a second surface which define an appearance of the spoiler, and a hollow part defined in the spoiler. The spoiler includes a reinforcing member which is formed integrally with the second surface and has a frame defining an appearance of the reinforcing member and holes formed in the reinforcing member, and a support unit which is secured to cover the holes of the reinforcing member and an outer surface of the frame, thus supporting the reinforcing member to the second surface. The reinforcing member is formed integrally with the second surface through blow molding.
