  • Publication number: 20200008443
Abstract: A confectionery product comprises a two-section, non-edible housing defining a hollow interior adapted to receive a toy or other novelty item, and a layer of edible material covering approximately half of the outer surface of each section of the housing, while the other half is uncovered, in order to reduce the calories of the product and its cost.

  • Publication number: 20110041706
Abstract: A chocolate manufacturing machine includes a chocolate dispenser and a chocolate cooler downstream from the chocolate dispenser. There is also a walking beam conveyor to advance a plurality of chocolate molding trays along a path of travel from the chocolate dispenser toward the chocolate cooler. The walking beam conveyor may comprise a pair of spaced apart tray guide rails to guide the plurality of chocolate molding trays. There may be at least one pair of walking beams adjacent the pair of spaced apart tray guide rails. A drive arrangement may cooperate with the at least one pair of walking beams to advance the plurality of chocolate molding trays along the path of travel.

  • Publication number: 20110045114
Abstract: A chocolate manufacturing machine includes a conveyor to advance a plurality of chocolate molding trays from a chocolate dispenser to a chocolate cooler downstream therefrom. The chocolate molding trays each have a face defining at least one chocolate mold cavity and have a back opposite the face. A plurality of face alignment features are associated with the face of each chocolate molding tray. Further, a plurality of back alignment features are associated with the back of each chocolate molding tray. The face and back alignment features permit alignment of an adjacent pair of chocolate molding trays in a face-to-face, back-to-back, and face-to-back relationship. The face and back alignment features may also permit vertical stacking and unstacking of adjacent pairs of the chocolate molding trays but limit horizontal movement thereof.

  • Publication number: 20110045155
Abstract: A chocolate manufacturing machine includes a chocolate dispenser and a plurality of chocolate molding trays. There is a chocolate cooler downstream from the chocolate dispenser. A stacker assembles a plurality of vertical stacks of chocolate molding trays for cooling by adding each successive chocolate molding tray to a bottom of a corresponding vertical stack. An unstacker disassembles the plurality of vertical stacks of chocolate molding trays after cooling by removing successive chocolate molding trays from a top of a corresponding vertical stack.

  • Publication number: 20090242285
Abstract: A vehicle is for riding and walking modes of use and includes at least one seat coupled to a frame. A plurality of wheels are rotatably coupled to the frame. At least one motor is for driving at least one wheel of the plurality thereof. A steering assembly is coupled to at least one wheel of the plurality thereof. A riding steering apparatus is coupled to the steering assembly for the riding mode of use. A riding throttle is coupled to the at least one motor for the riding mode of use. A walking steering apparatus is coupled to the steering assembly for the walking mode of use and includes an extendable arm. A walking throttle is coupled to the extendable arm to control the at least one motor for the walking mode of use based upon extension of the extendable arm.

  • Publication number: 20090242284
Abstract: A transportation vehicle configured for riding and walking modes of use includes a support frame having a front end and a rear end; and a plurality of front wheels rotatably coupled to the front end, and a plurality of rear wheels rotatably coupled to the rear end. A seat is coupled to the frame and configured to support a driver. A steering assembly is operably coupled to the front wheels and configured to controllably pivot the front wheels for steering. A braking system is operably configured to stop motion of the vehicle. A rigid walking arm is pivotally coupled to the steering assembly at a pivotally mounted end of the walking arm. Motor operation and braking controls are provided on the walking arm for walking mode and adjacent to the seat for riding mode. A relay disables controls for one mode (e.g., walking mode or riding mode controls) while the other mode is effective. Switching logic for selecting between walking mode and riding mode is also provided.

  • Patent number: 6099872
Abstract: A combination edible and non-edible product is shown which has a housing formed of first and second sections of plastic or other non-edible material interconnected to form a hollow interior adapted to receive a toy or other item. At least one of the first and second sections includes a radially outwardly extending rib having opposed side edges and an outer edge, and their outer surfaces each carry a layer of confectionery such as chocolate having a peripheral edge which abuts one of the side edges of the rib leaving the entire outer edge of the rib exposed and readily viewable. The entire article is then covered with a foil wrap or the like.
