  • Patent number: 8126288
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a storing section which stores data of a digital image, a rotation processing section which generates a plurality of rotated digital images having different rotation angles from the digital image, an image processing section which generates a plurality of image-processed digital images from the rotated digital images, a reverse processing section which generates a plurality of reversed digital images from the image-processed digital images, and a combining section which combines the reversed digital images into one digital image.

  • Publication number: 20100284584
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: a cutoff frequency table storing information on a relation between a parameter related to a radial intensity distribution of two-dimensional frequency components of a projection image and a Butterworth filter cutoff frequency to be applied to the projection image concerned; a projection image data input unit for inputting projection image data; an FFT unit for applying a two-dimensional Fourier transform to the projection image to obtain a spatial frequency of the projection image; a radial intensity distribution calculation unit for calculating a radial intensity distribution of frequency components of the projection image; a cutoff frequency setting unit for setting a cutoff frequency corresponding to a parameter related to the radial intensity distribution determined for the projection image, with reference to the cutoff frequency table; and a Butterworth filter for filtering the projection image data with the set cutoff frequency.

  • Patent number: 7420176
Abstract: A SPECT apparatus has a two-dimensional detector that detects radiations from RIs in a patient via a collimator. A correction processing unit corrects plural two-dimensional projection distributions with different projection angles, which are detected by the detector, on a three-dimensional frequency space according to plural correction functions corresponding to plural distances, respectively. Consequently, a fall in spatial resolution having dependency on distances between the respective RIs and the detector is reduced. A reconfiguring unit reconfigures a three-dimensional RI distribution from the plural two-dimensional projection distributions corrected.

  • Publication number: 20080091102
Abstract: An image processing apparatus (1) comprises: a projection image data input unit (10) for inputting nuclear medicine image data; a Butterworth filter (12) for filtering the nuclear medicine image data; and a cutoff frequency setting unit (20) for setting a cutoff frequency of the Butterworth filter (12). The cutoff frequency setting unit (20) has an optimum cutoff frequency table (22) storing a relation between counts in nuclear medicine image data and an optimum cutoff frequency. The image processing apparatus (1) determines counts in the nuclear medicine image data, determines based on the optimum cutoff frequency table (22) a cutoff frequency corresponding to the determined counts, and sets a cutoff frequency of the Butterworth filter (12) at the determined cutoff frequency.
