Abstract: An identity document digital image correction method comprising identifying the type, class and issue of a presented identity document from features in a digital image thereof; retrieving from a reference identity document repository, information about a reference authentic version of an identity document of the same type, class and issue as the presented identity document; allowing a user to select at least two features in the digital image of the presented identity document calculating the distance between the two selected features; determining the distance between corresponding features in the reference authentic version of the identity document; calculating a scaling factor ?x, y from the ratio of the distance between the two selected features in the presented identity document and the distance between corresponding features in the reference authentic version of the identity document; applying the scaling factor to measurements of features in the digital image of the presented identity document.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, system and computer program for managing a repository of personal data and, more particularly, a repository of authenticated personal data. Among its many advantages, the present invention allows a user to control access to their personal data by third parties. In particular, the present invention may allow a user to control the parties with whom their personal data is shared and customise which elements of their personal data may be shared with each such third party. Furthermore, the present invention allows a user to specify a fee for sharing particular aspects of their personal data, thereby allowing the user to monetise their personal data assets and be remunerated for their contribution.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, system and computer program for securely managing financial transactions and, more particularly, but not exclusively, transactions authorised by way of authenticated personal data. It is significantly based on authenticated personal data and provides a degree of assurance to financial entities that the personal data used to establish a customer account (and gain access thereto for the purposes of conducting a financial transaction) is genuine, as is the identity of the customer to whom the personal data relates. The identity assurance aspect provides by a rating system which gives a rating to a personal data record according to the number of items of personal data deemed to be authentic, the nature of the issuing source of the identity evidence (e.g. a passport is rated more highly than a sports club membership card) and the financial health of the relevant customer.
