  • Publication number: 20220152098
Abstract: The present invention provides modified antigen-specific immune cells expressing an exogenous CD 160 protein. In some embodiments, the modified antigen-specific immune cell further comprises a functional exogenous receptor, such as an engineered TCR or a CAR. The present invention also provides methods of modulating CD 160 activity in antigen-specific immune cells. The present invention also provides methods and pharmaceutical compositions for cancer treatment using the modified antigen-specific immune cells and the modulators of CD 160 activity described herein.

  • Publication number: 20150087673
Abstract: Disclosed are methods of using AMPK-activating compounds, for example, in the treatment of cancer and disorders of vascular flow. Also disclosed are biomarkers for AMPK and uses thereof, for example, in the diagnosis and treatment of AMPK-linked disorders. In certain embodiments, the AMPK-activating compounds have the structural formula wherein E, J, T, D1, D2, D3, the ring system denoted by “B”, T, R3, R4, w and x are as described herein.

  • Patent number: 6958238
Abstract: The invention provides Dishevelled Associated Kinase polypeptides, which phosphorylate Dsh proteins involved in the Wnt/Wg signalling pathway. Isolated polynucleotides encoding DAK polypeptides are further provided, as are recombinant vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides. Methods of using the polynucleotides and polypeptides of the invention are further aspects of the invention, including assays to detect agents which modulate DAK kinase activity. Further provided are methods of modulating pathways involved in control of cell proliferation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 18, 2003
Date of Patent: October 25, 2005
Assignee: The Regents of the University of California
Inventors: Tian-Qiang Sun, Lewis T. Williams
