Abstract: A layer structure for insulating thermal source includes a gel layer having two opposite faces each sequentially having an absorbent layer and a non woven material layer applied thereon. The layer structure is crisscross stitched such that multiple stitch lines are crisscross formed on the outer periphery of the layer structure for enhancing the layer structure. The absorbent layer is made of super absorbent polymer (SAP). The SAP is white or primrose neutral particle without toxicity and smell. The absorbent principle of the SAP is different from that of the foam rubber, the absorbent cotton or the like. The absorbent ability of the SAP is related to a chemical reaction such that the SAP is hard to be dehydrated due to an external force when the SAP absorbs water and forms an expanded gel.

Abstract: A clothing system having a plurality of different clothing articles that are designed to be used with interchangeable decorative elements. Each of the clothing articles are of a different size or style, and include one or more securing portions that permit one or more decorative, elements to be removably attached to the clothing article. The decorative elements can be removed from one clothing article for attachment to another clothing article so that the same decorative elements can be worn with any of the clothing articles in the system.

Abstract: A protective garment of a type preferably conforming to at least one NFPA standard and worn by firefighters and by emergency rescue workers has a body, which has two sleeve mouths, and has two sleeves. Each sleeve is attached to the body by being sewn thereto, along and around a margin of an associated one of the sleeve mouths, so as to extend in a forward direction when unstressed. The forward direction may be a forward and downward direction, a forward and upward direction, or a forward and lateral direction. The protective garment may be a protective coat, a protective jacket, a protective shirt, or a suit of protective coveralls.

Abstract: A composite fabric garment includes a first garment portion disposed in one or more upper regions of the fabric garment, i.e. those regions relatively more likely in use to be exposed to wind and rain, and a second garment portion disposed in one or more lower regions of the fabric garment, i.e. those regions relatively less likely in use to be exposed to wind and rain. The first garment portion is formed of a first composite fabric having first inner and outer fabric layers and a first intermediate barrier layer disposed between and bonded to at least one of the first inner and outer fabric layers, the first intermediate barrier layer being breathable and substantially impermeable to wind and liquid water. The second garment portion is formed of a second composite fabric formed of second inner and outer fabric layers and having predetermined air permeability.

Abstract: A glove for reducing lateral subluxation of the first carpometacarpal joint that includes a glove body, and a strap portion carried by the glove body. The strap portion extends from a proximal end portion of the glove, and has a length sufficient to allow the strap to be looped around the thumb, to provide dorsal-radial tension on the thumb near the distal end of the first metacarpal in order to reduce lateral subluxation at the first carpometacarpal joint. An attachment element is also provided for securing a distal end of the strap portion to a mutually engaging attachment element secured to the glove body.

Abstract: A stretchable sweatband for using a cap comprising a stretchable band, a fabric and a seaming portion is provided. The stretchable band has at least one rubber band and a plurality of elastic yarns, which are sewed together along a longitudinal direction. The fabric covers the stretchable band along the longitudinal direction thereof. The seaming portion is used to seam the fabric and the stretchable band together, which is capable of adjusting the longitudinal direction of the stretchable sweatband.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a headwear in which some panels of a visor part are adhered and sewed to each other and thus a wrinkle resulted from conventional simple sewing is prevented and an aesthetic sense is more increased. The headwear according to the present invention includes a crown part which is a main body of the headwear and made of a plurality of panels; and a visor part attached to lower front part of the crown part, wherein at least one panel of the panels of the crown part is fabricated so that two panels are overlappedly coupled and an adhesive sheet is inserted between the two overlapped panels to adhere the two panels, and an outer panel of the two panels is cut out in a shape according to user's intention and an inner panel is seen through the cut-out portion, and a sewing line is formed along a periphery of the cut-out portion of the outer panel.

Abstract: Clothing with complementary designs. A plurality of upper body garmnents is disclosed, each with at least one design segment. The design segments are designed to mutually complement, so that when the design segments are placed adjacent each other they form a unified design. In this fashion a visual team or group identity is created, and the aesthetic appearance of the individuals wearing the upper body garments bearing design segments is enhanced. The instant invention may be used with individuals riding motorcycles in tandem, jet skiers, sledders, rowing teams, etc. A method of use is also disclosed wherein individuals wearing the upper body garments with design segments are positioned so that the design segments form a unified design.

Abstract: To be embedded within most customizable strong yet flexible safety helmet shells, is a strong, lightweight, impact absorbing “Frame” and a multi-layered impact absorbing cushioning “structure”. Two combined yet independent components designed to protect the user's head and cranium and to reduce the violent sudden acceleration and deceleration of the head and brain after impact. One aspect consists of a solid, continuous and unbroken “Frame” The frame comprises a number of semi-circular arched segments or “panels” with several other smaller semi-circular arched panels placed facing opposite the larger panels within the frame. The additional cushioning in the structure comprises several layers and levels of cushioning protection. These layers consist of a cushioning interior impact liner, a soft silicone gel material, a form fitting inner liner, and optional cloth liners.

The waste receiving device includes a receiver and a waste processing mechanism that discharges processed waste to a waste water drain. The waste processing mechanism includes a strainer and/or a masticator for processing the fecal waste such that the processed waste has a maximum solids size that is suitable for passing through the waste water drain. The strainer is a filter with one or more openings that are sized to pass only waste that is not larger than the maximum solids size. The strainer, in one embodiment, is incorporated in a removable basket. The masticator, in various embodiments, is a manually operated mechanical reducer or a powered reducer, such as one operated by pressurized water.

Abstract: A foldable, portable exercise mat is disclosed. The mat is generally circular in shape when in the working position and is foldable to a generally rectangular shape when in the transport position. The exemplary embodiment of the mat includes a first side and a second side. The exemplary embodiment of the mat includes load-bearing strips strategically positioned on the first side to support the mat when it is in the transport position. Load-bearing strips may also be positioned around the perimeter of an integrated pocket to reduce the wear on the main body of the mat. Strap loops, gripping surfaces, affixing straps, and zippered pockets may also be affixed to either the first or second side. Carry straps may be engaged with strap loops to ease transportation of the mat. In a second embodiment of the mat, the mat may be folded into a backpack in the transport position.

The support legs have an upper end and a lower end, and are adapted to support the frame above a selected substrate. A support deck is coupled to the frame. The support deck is adapted to support a patient body, and is provided with a liquid impervious, molded thermoplastic contaminant resistant cleanable surface. The support deck also has, above at least some of the support legs, a cutout portion defined by edgewalls, to provide access through the support deck to the support legs, so that multiple beds may be stacked one above the other, using support inserts between vertically adjacent support legs.

The product demonstration system includes an audio/visual component that is capable of delivering a recording, an adjustable support that is capable of supporting the person, and a control. The control is operably connected to the adjustable support and the audio/visual component to move the adjustable support and deliver the recording in a coordinated manner to highlight the product.

Abstract: A method of washing fabric articles in a tunnel washer includes moving the fabric articles from the intake of the washer to the discharge of the washer through first and second sectors that are a pre-wash zone. In the pre-wash zone, liquid is counter flowed in the wash interior along a flow path that is generally opposite the direction of travel of the fabric articles. The fabric articles are transferred to a main wash zone, and a washing chemical is added to the main wash zone. At about the same time, counter flow is reduced or stopped. The main wash zone can be heated as an option. After a period of time (for example, between about 20 and 120 seconds) counter flow is increased. The increased counter flow after chemical treatment amounts to either an intermediate rinse or a pre-rinse depending upon which module or zone the goods occupy.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a composition for coloring keratin fibers comprising a cosmetically acceptable medium, at least one compound X at least one compound Y, wherein at least one of the compounds X and Y is a silicone compound, wherein when X and Y are placed in contact with each other they react together via a hydrosilylation reaction, a condensation reaction, or a crosslinking reaction in the presence of at least one peroxide, at least one hydrophobic direct dye having a log P greater than 2, and optionally at least one organic solvent. The composition of the disclosure makes it possible to obtain varied hues and intense colors on the keratin fibers. Moreover, the coloration obtained is very resistant to external agents, for example, to repeated washing.

The mop further has a rotary tube fitted on the handle and rotatable about the handle. When wringing and tensioning the mop cloth, the mop cloth binds the rotary tube, not the handle. Therefore, the slide sleeve and the handle can effectively wring and dry the mop cloth with less strength.

Abstract: A tool system is disclosed having a body including a handle extending therefrom, a detachable head including a working tool, and a multi-part connector for detachable connecting the head to the body, the connector including opposed, flexible members positioned on the body towards an end of the body and means on the head for connecting with the opposed flexible members, the opposed flexible members and the means for connecting with the flexible members working in concert to detachably secure the head to the body. The handle of the tool system can be offset with respect to the axis of the body and the detachable head.

Abstract: A brush element for a circular brush rotatable around an axis of rotation, the brush being attachable to a frame of a sweeping machine, and including a head segment that includes a substantially flat disc assembly including a coupling system for coupling brush elements therewith. Bristles make up a bristle segment for the brush element. The bristles are coupled for an integral unit with a body segment connecting the same. The bristles are coupled with the body segment in a configuration tapering in a substantially conical manner towards one end of the body segment in its lengthwise direction as viewed from above.
