The invention helps to ensure that the tool is not activated before the ADF has reached its dark state. A communication channel between the communication unit and the ADF may be established using a wired or wireless medium.

Abstract: The lens assembly for a diving mask is provided. The lens assembly comprises a first lens, a second lens and an intermediate layer. The intermediate layer is made of a liquid material which is capable of being cured and bonded with the first lens and the second lens. Thereby, the lens assembly can prevent the scattering of fragments when the lens assembly is shattered. Furthermore, the second lens is preferably made of the material selected from the group consisting of cellulose acetate, cellulose propionate and the combination thereof for providing the diving mask with better anti-fog ability.

A ball securing sleeve is aligned with, and joined to, the rear waistband portion at left, central, and right mutual locations, thereby establishing two ball securing sleeves into which a tennis ball may be inserted from above or below the sleeve. Once inserted, the ball is held in place by opposing upper and lower elastic bands within upper and lower hems of the sleeves. Abstract: When a person is riding an open-top vehicle with his ears exposed, he hears the whistling sounds of the apparent headwind produced as the wind dashes against his earlobes. According to the present invention, windshields A (1) are disposed forward of the rider's ears and sound insulating plates (2) are disposed between the windshields A (1) and the ear holes (5). Blocked by the windshields A (1), the apparent headwind does not strike the earlobes (4), thereby eliminating the whistling sounds from winds. As an adverse effect, the wind strikes and vibrates the windshields A (1), thus producing different noise. This noise does not reach the ear holes (5) of the rider as it is blocked by the sound insulating plates (2). As such, all the noise caused by the wind is reduced. Since the ears are mostly exposed to the open air, sufficient heat dissipation can be obtained without attenuating the surrounding sounds. Abstract: A face mask for use with Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) diving equipment which forms a sealed enclosure about the user's eyes and nose but not the mouth has a frame with sides and a clear viewing port and a means to introduce air flow into the enclosure. The flow of air into the enclosure is metered by a metering device which may be an orifice or a manually operated valve or an automated valve using a timer or sensors which monitor and respond to conditions such as heat and humidity. The metering device may be controlled by a control means. When the control means is activated, pressurized air flows into the enclosure. In one embodiment, air flow is directed against the inner surface of the viewing port to remove moisture and heat which may cause the viewing port to fog. The mask may be equipped with a relief valve to allow incoming pressurized air flow to force trapped liquid out of the enclosure.

Moreover, the sports goggle increases comfort compared to prior art sports goggles. In particular, the lateral distal portions of the frame are fabricated from a soft compound or material embedded onto a harder compound or material of the frame.

Abstract: A system and apparatus for reducing the amount of water required for flushing toilets. The system flushes a toilet containing a small amount of water in the bowl with air forced into the bowl from a special airtight lid and a vent in either this lid or in the toilet bowl area. While holding down the airtight lid, injected air from an air pressure device connected to the vent flushes the toilet, using minimal water as compared with conventional toilets. Afterwards water is added to the toilet bowl to reseal the trap and ready the toilet for the next use. By allowing this same air pressure device to produce suction as well as air flush, it will also function as a dry plunger in the event of a blockage and because this system uses air rather then water for flushing the swear pipe is predominately filled with air preventing freezing of pipes. It also will give a long flush capacity for those systems that enter a cesspool or septic tank.

The T-shaped side rails provide more resistance to twisting and bowing and enables the overall bed frame to support more weight with less deflection than the convention L-shaped side rails. Integration of the ventilated pad to the sheet or mattress pad provides consistent location of the pad under the occupant while minimizing installation, removal time and effort. The ventilated pad is washable and can be re-attached to a new sheet or mattress cover when the sheet or mattress pad is worn out or damaged. By the above mentioned method, the cleanness of the cleanroom wiping cloth can be immediately sensed and obtained, and the gas can be recycled for achieving energy-saving.

Abstract: A ramp is assembled from first and second boards such that the first and second boards are foldable relative to one another. Rail assemblies comprising first and second channels are fastened along opposing sides of the boards. First and second hinge members, fastened to the sides of the first and second channels, pivotally couple the channels. Two central hinge members are mounted on the boards respectively to pivotally couple the boards at a central location between the opposing sides of the boards. An auxiliary hinge member is supported on the bottom of the first channels to provided added support to the pivotal coupling between the first and second channels. The auxiliary hinge member and the central hinge members are interchangeable with one another.
