Abstract: A method of fabricating wetsuits and boots or gloves, made from rubber sponge material especially used for water sports, adheres each piece of the composition of the wetsuit or boots/gloves to be free from the problems of leaking or breaking caused by sewing or stitching. The method makes the finished garment not only strong and flexible, but also watertight so that the garment wearer feels dry and comfortable. The new method comprises the step of making an adhesion to form a cover, with the width of 1-25 mm and thickness of 0.3-1 mm, on the glued seams of the garment outer and/or inner surface in order to make each piece of the garment adhered completely with no sewing or stitching. The new method includes the additional step of putting the adhered panels of the garment into an oven at a temperature of 80-130° C., and for a time of 5-60 minutes, to make the adhesion vulcanized and cross-linked.

Abstract: A wetsuit has a plurality of pieces of material that are stitched or glued together to form the wetsuit, and at least one drag-creating section provided on one of the pieces of material. The drag-creating section has a plurality of water catch devices, each water catch device having a flap piece and a base portion, with a cavity defined between each flap piece and the base of the piece of material or the base portion of an adjacent water catch device. Each flap piece is constructed such that it can be expanded and collapsed to allow water to enter and leave the cavity, and the plurality of water catch devices are arranged in series immediately adjacent to each other, with the cavity of each water catch device on the piece of material opening in the same direction towards another water catch device.

Abstract: The general field of the invention is that of helmet shells made of composite material comprising at least one “armure” of fabrics impregnated with a resin matrix. Certain parts of the “armure” are impregnated with a resin matrix comprising an additive adapted to reinforce the mechanical strength of the helmet, the said parts corresponding to the weakest zones of a human head, such as the top of the head or the ears. Preferably, the resin is of the epoxy type and the additive is based on acrylic block copolymers. More precisely, the additive is of the “Nanostrength®” brand.

Abstract: A face shield includes a brim having a front portion, a rear portion, an upper portion, and a lower portion. A channel is formed in the lower portion adjacent the rear portion of the brim. The front portion includes a plurality of spaced apart catch members disposed thereon. A head band is unitary with one side of the brim and configured to surround a head of a wearer. The head band has a free end that is adjustably insertable into the channel of the brim to select a size of the head band for the head of the wearer. The face shield may include a removable transparent shield having a plurality of holes formed therein. Each of the holes is configured to cooperate with one of the catch members of the brim to releasably hold the transparent shield on the front portion of the brim.

The auxiliary adapter has an eyelet with an open center portion at the first end configured to receive an anchor member of a first connector therethrough to secure the auxiliary adapter to a helmet wherein the first connector is free to connect with a primary eyewear strap. The auxiliary adapter has an auxiliary connector at the second end configured to connect with a strap of a secondary eyewear, such as a goggle. The auxiliary adapter is pivotable about the anchor to accommodate a connection between the auxiliary adapter and a secondary eyewear strap.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a glove for absorbing shock. The glove includes a glove body, and a shock absorbing member embedded in the glove body and made of a flexible material. The shock absorbing member includes cells partitioned by a cell wall and two-dimensionally arranged to absorb shock through buckling deformation of the cell wall. The glove has excellent buffering performance by absorbing vibration or shock based not only on material characteristics of the shock absorbing member but also on structural characteristics thereof, and improves efficiency in absorption of vibration or shock by increasing the degree of shrinkage or restoring force of the shock absorbing member, so that the glove can efficiently protect a user from shock.

Abstract: An anti-shock batting glove adapted to receive a thumb and forefingers of a hand, including: a dorsal side for covering a dorsal side of the hand, and a palmar side for covering a palm of a hand. The palmar side comprises a plurality of detached finger pads adapted to limit shock to a batter's hand encountered during batting. The front lower portion of the circular conical surface is trimmed along second cutting plane producing a unique parabolic-shape front edge for clearance above a shoe throat. Trimming may be by a CNC fabric cutting machine, using the descriptive geometric definition of the circular conical surface, (x/?)2+(y/?)2(z/?)2=0, and using planar cuts for the parabolic edge trim defined by the equation, Ax+?z+?=0. The defined surface may be unwrapped and supplied to the CNC machine as a flat pattern.

The slick surfaces may be provided by two (2) separate covers; one cover for the mattress and one cover for the box spring, platform or bed skirt. One cover is provided with a slick and non-slick surface. The other cover may be the same as the first cover or may have slick surfaces on two sides. In an alternate embodiment of the invention, one of the covers may be provided as a protective cover that encapsulates the entire mattress. In another alternate embodiment, one cover may be provided that cooperates with a slick surface that is integrally provided on one or the other of the mattress or box spring or platform.

The slick surfaces may be provided by two (2) separate covers; one cover for the mattress and one cover for the box spring or platform. A first cover is provided with a slick and non-slick surface. In order to further facilitate rotation, a second cover includes a slick surface on one side and forms part of a levitation device. The other side of the second cover may be formed with a slick or a non-slick surface. The levitation device creates an air cushion between the mattress and the box spring under the influence of an air supply which lifts the mattress and allows the mattress to be rotated in a horizontal plane virtually effortlessly.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to providing mattresses with foam that is odor-free. Unpleasant odors can be reduced in foam members by including a source of cyclodextrin during the manufacture of foam. Instead of masking odors with fragrances, the systems and methods described herein reduce odors with the aid of, among other things, a cyclodextrin-water solution. In one aspect, a method of manufacturing an odor-free foam for use in a mattress is provided. The method includes solubilizing cyclodextrin in water to form a cyclodextrin solution, and adding the cyclodextrin solution to a reacting mixture of a polyol and a isocyanate to form an odor-free or reduced-odor foam.

In the second step, the materials produced by the esterification is transported to a polymerizer, and have a polymerization reaction under the conditions of high temperature, vacuum and catalyst, producing the high molecular weight polyester/polyether/organosilicon terpolymer with a molecular weight of 1000˜50000 as the desired modifier.
