Abstract: Visor comprising a network structure formed of expanded metal, which network structure has a general extension plane (113, 114, 213, 214) and is formed of wire portions (11, 111, 211) and connecting portions (12, 112, 212), the respective ends of four wire portions (11, 111, 211) being joined in each connecting portion (12, 112, 212), and which wire portions (11, 111, 211) have substantially rectangular cross sections having long sides (111A, 211A) and short sides (111B, 211B). The wire portions (11, 111, 211) are arranged such that the long sides (111A, 211A) of their cross sections have a lesser angle to the general extension plane (113, 114, 213, 214) of the network structure than do the short sides (111B, 211B). The invention also relates to a method for use in the production of such a visor.

Abstract: My invention for replacing the flush toilet and water closet, utilizes a slipjoint water trap that is a distinct and separate moving part of the toilet bowl. First the pathway of the trap is re-configured as in drawing #3. Then the slipjoint water trap is connected to the toilet bowl using two slipjoint connecters. The bowl outlet mates with the trap inlet and the trap outlet mates with the waste depository inlet. The faces of these four lets are all parallel to each other in both dimensions and share a common axis. A cable mechanism can then be installed to rotate the slipjoint trap down 90 degrees from the vertical. This will establish an inclined pathway to the sewer, all waste will then flow down stream, by the force of gravity exerted on the waste itself. In effect I lower the weir of the trap instead of raising the waste.

Abstract: A pool fluid control system utilizes a fluid collection tank having an intake enclosure extending therefrom. The intake enclosure has an open grate which is configured to be positioned flush with the pool wall. Water which accumulates between the pool wall and the liner flows through the grate, into the intake enclosure, and then into the collection tank. A sump pump or other submersible pump within the collection tank then discharges the water out of the collection tank for disposal at a location away from the pool. This constant monitoring and then automatic removal of unwanted water from the space between the liner and the pool wall serves to maintain the integrity of the liner in relation to the wall.

Abstract: A resonant motor unit that has a resonant motor, a control unit, a measurement unit, and an evaluation unit is described. The control unit drives the resonant motor at a driving frequency, short-circuits the resonant motor during at least a first short-circuiting phase in successive driving cycles and concludes the first short-circuiting phases by switching off the current flow through the resonant motor at least at a predetermined first time instant within the driving cycles. The measurement unit successively measures at least a first voltage signal provided by the resonant motor at the predetermined first time instant, and the evaluation unit for determines whether the first voltage signal has changed between successive measurements.

Abstract: An optical connector cleaning tool which wipes to clean a joining end face of an optical connector by a feeding movement of a cleaning body. It includes a tool body which incorporates a feeding mechanism that supplies and takes up the cleaning body, and an insertion part which inserts into a connector housing hole of a positioning housing for connectors. The insertion part has a head member on which is formed a pressing face that presses the cleaning body against the joining end face within the connector housing hole, and is capable of moving in a direction of extension or contraction relative to the tool body. Movement of the tool body in an insertion direction relative to the insertion part in a state where the cleaning body is in contact with the joining end face causes the head member to axially rotate while the state of contact is maintained.

Abstract: A textured coform nonwoven web is provided that includes a matrix of meltblown fibers and an absorbent material. The coform nonwoven web is textured in that it includes first offsets that extend from the coform web. Further, the first offsets are themselves textured in that upper surfaces of the first offsets include a foundation texture. A continuous region from which the offsets extend further includes a secondary texture that may or may not be different from the foundation texture. The offsets may further include side walls that include a side wall texture. The side wall texture may or may not be different than both the foundation texture and the secondary texture.
