Abstract: A protective, wearable carriage device and method is provided such that the device conforms more substantially to the user's body, facilitates heat dissipation and facilitates modular attachment of different shapes and configurations of armor. In one embodiment of the present invention, a substantially rigid outer frame is provided with an outer surface material and an inner surface mesh material, and the outer frame is secured to an inner frame comprising a cloth netting such that the inner frame and outer frame create a gap between the inner frame and the spacer mesh material. In one embodiment of the present invention, one or more bowing stiffeners are secured to the outer frame so as to facilitate the desirable features of the present invention.

Abstract: An adapter frame assembly is provided to receive and support an extra-large 110 mm×110 mm ADF, safety lens and diopter within the viewing window of an existing welding helmet. The adapter frame assembly provides for replacement of the safety lens without removing the ADF and installation or removal of a diopter without removing the safety lens or diopter. The ADF, safety lens and diopter are all easy to install and change.

Abstract: An article of clothing may have two side panels in a torso section of the article of clothing. In a closed configuration, one of the side panels may overlay the other side panel. The article of clothing may also have a lower body section adapted to pass between the wearer's legs when the article is in a closed configuration.

Abstract: This invention relates to an outer garment, having a first and second front panels and a back panel wherein the front panels are integrally connected at their upper ends to the back panel; first and second front flaps horizontally extending respectively from the first and second front panels; first and second back flaps horizontally extending from both sides of the back panel; a front fastening means for fastening the first and second front panels together; a first fastening means for fastening the first front and back flaps together; and a second fastening means for fastening the second front and back flaps together. The panels and flaps are essentially coextensive and integrally constructed such that they form a two-dimensional panel. In addition, in the unfolded view of the outer garment, inner edges of the first and second front panels form an angle of about 70-90 degrees.

Abstract: An all weather garment system is disclosed. The system comprises an outer barrier shell and at least one inner barrier layer attached to the outer barrier shell. The outer barrier shell has a front portion and a rear portion. The at least one inner barrier layer has a configuration similar to that of the outer barrier shell. The at least one inner barrier layer is configured to collapse and store adjacent to the rear portion of the outside barrier shell when the inner barrier layer is not being worn. In one embodiment, the garment system has two inner barrier layers, a first and a second inner barrier layer. A method of utilizing an all weather garment system is also disclosed.

Abstract: Articles of clothing that incorporate fabrics or chemicals having wicking, antibacterial/antifungal and low coefficients of friction either overall or in specific areas of the apparel that will minimize the development of irritation, bacterial and fungal infections of the skin. The invention also includes methods for producing this wicking, antibacterial/antifungal and low coefficient of friction apparel.

Abstract: Moisture diverters attachable to a region above the eye and below the eyebrow that prevents sweat, liquid, moisture, or the like from entering the eyes of a wearer is described. A moisture diverter may include a substrate having an inner surface facing the wearer and an outer surface facing away from the wearer. The inner surface and upper surfaces include a lower section and an upper section, the lower section of the inner surface having an attachment structure for releasably attaching the diverting apparatus to a wearer in a region above the eye and below the eyebrow of the wearer, the upper section shaped or shapeable to abut or protrude from the eyebrow region of the wearer to divert sweat, liquid, moisture, or the like away from the eye.

Abstract: Embodiments provide accessory straps for apparel, such as outerwear. In various embodiments, the accessory strap may be used to secure gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, and/or other accessories to a piece of apparel, such as outerwear, when the accessory is not being used. Various embodiments of the accessory strap may include an elastomeric element, so that the strap may stretch to encompass large or bulky items. Some embodiments may have an adjustable fit, so that various sized accessories may be securely stowed. In various embodiments, the accessory strap may be stowed under a flap, bellow, or other feature of the outerwear when not in use, for instance to hide it from view and/or prevent it from catching on nearby objects, and various embodiments of the accessory strap may be incorporated into the design of a pocket.

Abstract: Provided is a protective headwear that includes a body, pocket band and plurality of protective inserts. The body has an opening and a crown, and is configured to fit a head of a person. The pocket band extends about the opening to the interior of the body and partially toward the crown being secured to the body by a base stitching about the opening. The pocket band is free floating from the base stitching with respect to the interior of the body and configured to fit the head of the person. The pocket band also includes a plurality of pockets disposed about the base stitching. The protective inserts are configured to be received into the pockets to provide a protective function to the head of the person. The protective inserts are disposed adjacently to one another about the pocket band and extend from the base stitching toward the crown.

The cover board extends from the rigid frame and is positioned over the at least one air passage and the at least one retaining wall. The resilient frame is formed to the rigid frame. The lens is mounted in the frame body. The headband includes two ends respectively connected to two sides of the frame body. With the above-mentioned structure, an enhanced ventilation effect and greater structural strength can be achieved.

Abstract: A toilet ventilation system includes a toilet with a sealing gasket between the toilet seat and bowl. An aperture is positioned in the sealing gasket to allow unpleasant odors to be vacuumed out of the toilet bowl via an exhaust tube. The exhaust tube is fitted onto a ventilator with filtered apertures and a fan. The fan creates the vacuum that forces contaminated air through the filtered apertures so that odorless air is released from the ventilator.

Abstract: A toilet training system comprises a seat (10) and a complemental base (12). The seat has a central seat member (34) with a curved surface defining a cavity shaped to accommodate a child, with an aperture (36) in its lower surface. The base comprises a cylindrical outer side wall (42) and a partition member extending transversely relative to the side wall to define a receptacle. The partition member has a central portion (50) with a surface which is inclined or curved complementally to the curved surface of the seat member. The seat can be mounted on the base in first and second configurations of the system. In the first configuration, the central portion of the partition member is located relatively close to the seat member, preferably touching it. This corresponds to a training or familiarising mode of use of the system. In the second configuration the partition member is spaced relatively further apart from the seat member, in which mode the system can be used as a potty.

The release mechanism includes a shell, a fixed block, a rotating shaft, and a U-shaped clamping spring. The shell includes a notch for the rotating shaft. The fixed block includes a U-shaped recess that corresponds to the notch on the shell. The rotating shaft rests inside the U-shaped recess and the notch, connecting the toilet lid to the seat ring. The U-shaped clamping spring engages with the U-shaped recess and clamps the rotating shaft in place.

Abstract: The light assembly is designed for use with an integral steam emitter or as an add-on with a steamhead in a pre-existing steambath installation. The assembly includes a part for engaging the end of the steam outlet pipe of a steam generator. A ring-shaped fixture carrying multiple LEDs is mounted on the pipe engaging part. A light transmissive lens is aligned with the light source fixture and has a light emitting edge. The lens has a central opening through which steam from the steam outlet pipe can pass. Abstract: An articulated sofa bed has a compact profile while folded with the seat cushions residing at a comfortable and ergonomic height and an esthetically pleasing streamlined appearance. The sofa bed takes advantage of a deployment assembly having a support frame with swinging rear arms that, when the bed is folded, occupy a small volume within the back of the sofa. The sofa bed also takes advantage of a leg assembly that is anchored within the thickness of the bed panels so as to stack the foot and middle panels closer to each other. The deployment assembly also cooperates to position the middle and foot panels of the bed in a folded position at a low height above the floor and below the seat cushions, respectively.

These components can be combined to create gun cleaning kits used to clean a wide variety of types and sizes of guns. The system includes a t-handle, a flexible cable for improved portability, individual cleaning implements and quick connect couplings to attach the cleaning implements and the t-handle to the flexible cable. After a cleaning implement is attached to the flexible cable with a quick connect coupling, the cable is fed through the breech of a gun and the t-handle is attached to the opposite end of the flexible cable with a quick connect coupling. The cleaning implement is then pulled through the barrel of the gun. The t-handle is then removed using the quick connect coupling and the process is repeated.

Abstract: Disclosed is a brush holder having a hollow, box-like upper structure with interior contours conformable to the shape of the ferrule and heel of a paintbrush. The lower structure of the brush holder comprises a hollow, primarily longitudinal staff, said staff affixed at its top end to the brush holder. The lower, open end of the staff comprises a circular opening with interior female threads. By use of an extension pole having compatible male threads at one end, a workman, after insertion of a paintbrush into said brush holder, may engage the threads of the brush holder with the threads of the extension pole until a firm and secure attachment is achieved. In this manner, there is provided a greater range of brush contact for applying paint to an otherwise hard-to-reach surface.
