In one embodiment, the pockets are closed, and the band is provided with a given amount of protection or support. In yet another embodiment, one or more pockets have an opening, which allows a user to adjust the amount of protection and/or support in each pocket.

Abstract: The present invention provides a quick lace hand protection system including a hand protection device, such as a boxing glove, a plurality of quick lace receivers attached thereto, and a lace extending through the quick lace receivers. The received portion of the lace being received within a raised plane associated with the inside surface of the hand protection device.

Abstract: Licky Finger is a rubber tip finger attachment with small pin holes that is slid over the finger tip for use. The pin holes allow water to soak into a water retaining material located and imbedded in the finger tip pad and allows water to be extracted when needed by applying slight pressure to moisten finger tips. Licky Finger is placed in the accompanying holder for water refill and storage until ready for use. The moisture assist in the handling of paper products.

Abstract: A digit tip protection device comprises a concave puncture-resistant member adapted to protect a pulp of a digit. The puncture resistant material is thin and flexible to avoid interfering with tactile sensation of the digit. The concave member has an adhesive layer adapted to adhere to the digit. The concave member has a first end extending over the pulp of the digit to just below a nail, a second end extending over the pulp of the digit below a first joint of the digit, and a lateral and medial edges extending along the digit. The digit tip protection device is adapted to be worn on a digit, such that the digit tip protection device substantially covers the pulp of the digit, and extends along the palmar surface of the digit below the distal interphalangeal joint.

Abstract: The present invention provides a martial arts shin guard comprising a sleeve portion for surrounding the lower leg and possibly foot of a wearer and a padded plate portion adapted to cover the wearer's lower leg and possibly foot, wherein the padded plate portion is reversibly attachable to the sleeve portion. In another embodiment the present invention is a system for protecting the lower leg of a wearer when engaged in martial arts comprising: an elastic sleeve portion adapted to fit over a portion of the wearer's lower leg, wherein the elastic sleeve portion further comprises a first connector; a padded plate portion, the padded plate portion further comprising at least a shin region and a second connector; and wherein the first connector and the second connector are complimentary to each other thereby allowing the reversible connection of the padded plate portion to the elastic sleeve portion.

A respective hip pad pocket at and over each hip area of a wearer and inside the hip covering region of the pants. A respective knee pad pocket inside the pants at and over each knee of a wearer. An impact protection pad is removably disposed in each pocket. A respective first fastening element is on each pad and a cooperating second fastening element is on a surface in the respective pocket, such that the positions of the pads in the respective pockets may be selected and then secured by the respective fastening elements. Straps hold the pants legs to the areas above and below each knee.

Abstract: A bikini swimwear suit including: a first leaf covering; a second leaf covering, where the first leaf and second leaf cover a user's breasts; and a third leaf covering, where the third leaf provides a panty for the user. The bikini swimwear suit may include string support for the third leaf covering and in one particular embodiment, the string support may include a top string set and a bottom string set. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a trouser hem design including: a forward cut, where the forward cut has a first length; and a rear cut, where the rear cut has a second length, and the first length is less than the second length.

Abstract: The claimed subject matter provides a tzitzit garment that meets halachic (e.g., Jewish law) requirements for wearing tzitzit strings (e.g., fringes) on the corners of a four-cornered garment. The tzitzit garment includes two layers, including an under layer that is made of compression material that wicks perspiration away from the body of a wearer and an outer layer that is a four cornered garment, has tzitzit strings at each of the four corners and is attached to the under layer. Furthermore, the claimed subject matter provides a pant garment that includes grips to hold the tzitzit strings in place to prevent interference during physical activity.

Abstract: A system and method which allows for a pre-constructed article of clothing to having printing on substantially all of its external surface area. Specifically, an image may be simultaneously printed across multiple components of a clothing article. The method generally provides for transfer of a digital image, such as a digital photograph, to be applied to an article of clothing in a manner that prints an entire two-dimensional surface of the clothing with a coherent image, that maintains coherency when the article of clothing is worn. There is also provided an article of clothing produced using the systems and methods.

Abstract: A device which includes a first foldable material and a second foldable material, said second foldable material coupled to the first foldable material to form an outer edge and having a stretchable binding disposed on the first foldable material opposite to the second foldable material and a zipper disposed substantially near the outer edge so that the zipper joins a first portion of the outer edge to a second portion of the outer edge when closed. The first foldable material may be a PVC-Coated polyester fabric with and anti-microbial coating. Some embodiments may include a layer of foam disposed between the first and second material.

Between five to nine pressure sensors are positioned throughout the glove, and the pressure sensors themselves may be capacitive sensors, piezoelectric sensors, air filled bladder pressure sensors in communication with hollow tubes further connected to electronic pressure sensors, or any other sensor known in the art.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a glove with a seamless palm portion used when gripping a sporting implement. The glove is used when additional pressure points caused by seams between the user's hand and a sporting implement is a common problem. A method and apparatus for reducing the seams in a glove palm portion while also reducing glove bunching is provided according to various embodiments. The seamless glove palm portion is located substantially over boney pillars of the palmar-side of the hand in order to direct even pressure and/or force caused by the handlebar while cycling or gripping to one or more boney pillars of the hand, rather than creating additional pressure points on the hands.

Abstract: The specification discloses a glove for use by gymnasts and others while performing athletic acrobatic moves and actions such as tumbling, handstands, cartwheels, somersaults, and many other routines and exercises that tend to impose substantial forces upon a participant's wrists and hands including, in particular, the heel areas of the hands. Abstract: A system of two or more helmets used in team sports with magnetic material embedded in, or attached to, each helmet. Magnets are positioned identically in helmets so that the north magnetic field is facing outward. When two or more helmets come in close proximity, the like magnetic fields repel one another. This slows the velocities of the helmets, deflects the helmets as they collide, and generally causes helmets to move away from one another. This system is applicable for any sport or activity where concussive forces are caused by two or more helmets colliding, such as helmets in football, hockey, lacrosse, etc. When the helmet system is in place, magnets polarized in the same direction can be placed in other team equipment (e.g., knee pads) to mitigate blows to the head caused by that part of the body.

Abstract: A helmet including a shell, a plurality of panel buttons pivotally attached at their proximal face to the outer surface of the shell, and the panel buttons are made of a flexible or elastic material with a protective outer coating to protect the panel buttons from abrasion. The power density profile can include a first power density zone and a second power density zone, each zone corresponding to an area of the heating panel having a separate power density in response to a current flow. An infrared heating panel can include multiple heating elements arranged adjacently in a row and electrically connected together by at least two power buses extending perpendicularly across the heating elements. In one example, the first power density zone is located between a first power bus and an end of the heating elements. The second power density zone can be located between the first power bus and an opposite end of the heating elements. Infrared sauna systems and methods of generating heat for a sauna are also provided.
