Vertical Center Post Guided Rollers Patents (Class 100/68)
  • Patent number: 9051134
Abstract: A device for loading particulate matter into a transport container having a blade assembly slidably mounted to a frame. Preferably the blade assembly includes a pair of cylinders mounted in parallel spaced relation to the frame, a pair of brackets slidably mounted to the cylinders, and a blade rotatably mounted to the brackets at each end.

  • Patent number: 6520072
Abstract: This invention concerns a method for compacting waste in a machine including an cylindrical, open-top tank (2-4) and a compacting head (15, 16), wherein a horizontal toothed roller (16) is arranged in said tank (2-4) and bears on said waste under its own weight, and said roller (16) can be rotated around the central vertical axis of said tank by the action of a driving member (15). The method is characterized in that a quantity indicative of the force exerted by said driving member (15) is monitored, and in that, when said quantity exceeds a predetermined threshold, an unclogging operation is performed by (a) first raising said roller (16) up to a predetermined height and (b) then releasing said roller (16) thus causing it to lower back onto the waste, while being rotatively driven in the opposite direction.

  • Patent number: 5579688
Abstract: A waste compactor including an upwardly open waste container, and a roller mounted on a support for movement within the container to travel over waste in the container for compacting waste. The roller is movable up and down in the container as waste builds up in the container. The support includes a support arm slidably mounted on a support frame, the arm being inclined downwardly from the support frame towards the roller. For waste compaction a ram is operable to slide the arm on the support frame to urge the roller against the waste.

  • Patent number: 4524685
Abstract: Equipment for compacting trash consisting of packaging materials and easily compressed wastes, such as cardboard, light plastic and wood packings, paper, wastes of blanks and wood, plastic and metal chips held in containers open at the top using a compacting roller entering the container and therein circularly revolving on the trash and held by a post reaching above the container, this roller performing a relative motion with respect to the container during the compaction while the contents are rising is desired to be so designed as to suffice with relatively few parts, that it be resistant to malfunction and suited to receive bulky trash.

  • Patent number: 4224871
Abstract: Means for displacing elements, such as the rollers of printing machines, located between the upright frames of a pedestal machine. A rotatable drive shaft is supported in each of the frames parallel to the direction in which the displacement is to proceed, and is drive connected to the said elements. Adjusting shafts having hand wheels attached to their free ends and coupled to the drive shafts extend, when in working position, into the space between the upright frames. In rest position, they are displaceable out of said space, which is thereby cleared for access to the equipment.
