Abstract: Sit-stand desk, such as conversion desks, provide a convenient option for desk work by users who desire the option to selectively sit or stand. Often, the vertical distance between a keyboard and monitor differs when in the sitting configuration versus the standing configuration. A sit-stand desk provided herein allows for a user to transition between a sitting configuration and a standing configuration with a single lifting mechanism with a programmable distance variation between the keyboard and monitor. Accordingly, a user may transition between the sitting configuration and the standing configuration without requiring readjustment of the relative distance between the monitor and keyboard.

Abstract: A sound management system for use by a user located within an environment includes a memory device for storing a selection of sounds. The sounds can be music and/or various “colors” of noise (e.g., white, pink, and brown). A controller is used to select one particular stored sound based on a measured biological condition of the user, such as stress or fatigue, or an environmental condition of the environment, such as ambient noise. According to one embodiment, the system is used in conjunction with a sit/stand desk and the sound selection is made in response to changes in the desk height. The selected sound is selected to help abate or mitigate distracting sounds in the environment, such as people talking. The selected sounds are played to the user through headphones worn by the user, or through nearby speakers.

Abstract: A foldable chair side table has a snap-on/snap-off clamp which is designed for easy and simple installation on most foldable chairs. A leveling system is provided for ready adjustment to horizontally align the table in relation to the chair. The table is lightweight for ease of use and portability and comes equipped with an attached strap. It has a variety of unique features not found in prior side tables, including a solar powered charger having charging panels for electrically charging cell phones, tablets, and other electronic devices. The filling element is insertable into a portion of a space defined between tines of the lift and one or more of top and bottom decks and blocks and/or stringers separating the top and bottom decks of the pallet. The filling element is configured to assume a first configuration during filling element insertion and a second configuration in which, following filling element insertion, the filling element fixes relative orientations of the pallet and the lift. The engaging element is actuatable with the filling element initially assuming the first configuration to cause the filling element to assume the second configuration.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a maintainable pallet is provided with interchangeable support structures and sensors for identifying any damage that the interchangeable support structures may experience. The maintainable pallet may include two side supports, two end supports coupled to the two side supports end-to-end to form a rectangle, a central support position between the two side supports, a plurality of top transverse support fastened onto the two side supports to form a top loading surface and the central support with two-part releasable fasteners, and two bottom transverse supports fastened to the ends of the two side supports to form a bottom surface with two-part releasable fasteners. Sensors, in some embodiments, may be embedded in the two side supports to measure, for example, acceleration, location, or other logistic information.

Abstract: A pallet gap filler for a pallet and a lift is provided. The pallet gap filler includes filling and engaging elements. The filling element is insertible into a portion of a space defined between tines of the lift and one or more of top and bottom decks and blocks and/or stringers separating the top and bottom decks of the pallet. The filling element is configured to assume a first configuration during filling element insertion and a second configuration in which, following filling element insertion, the filling element fixes relative orientations of the pallet and the lift. The engaging element is actuatable with the filling element initially assuming the first configuration to cause the filling element to assume the second configuration.

Abstract: The auxiliary shelf for hunting stand is an extension shelf that may be added adjacent to a hunting stand. The shelf comprises a metal mesh covering coupled to a tubular frame. A pair of parallel support arms are coupled to the bottom of the frame and extend away from the shelf so that they may be place under the tree stand. A pair of locking bars couple to the tree stand such that each locking bar squeezes both support arms between the locking bar and the tree stand. The locking bars each couple to the tree stand using a hook.

The apparatus includes a storage and an image processor. The image processor is configured to: extract a binarized image from an image acquired by an imaging device; perform image matching between a terminal in the binarized image and a terminal in a model image to extract attitude candidates of image matching; obtain coordinates of a corner part of the plurality of terminals from the binarized image of the electronic component; select an attitude candidate from among the attitude candidates of image matching; and output the attitude candidate as a detected attitude of the electronic component.

Abstract: A display apparatus, such as a table, for display consumer products, such as electronic devices, is disclosed. The table may include a display cavity for displaying products. The display cavity may include a transparent glass panel defining a top portion thereof so as to allow consumers to view products housed within the display cavity. The table may include a lighting system configured to illuminate at least a portion of the display cavity. The table may also include a cooling system for maintaining or modifying the temperature within the display cavity. A rotatable display panel defining at least a portion of the bottom of display cavity may rotate from the bottom of the table to allow a user can access the products within the display cavity.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved height adjustable table which can assist and motivate the user to use the height adjustable table in a manner which increases health, calorie burn and well-being. This is done by logging how long the table has been in a standing and/or sitting range. The log can be used to calculate the calories burned during use. In another embodiment the log can be used to remind the user of the table to change position during the use of the table.

Abstract: An article of furniture includes a structure having a surface that supports a weight. The surface may be tiltable from a first position in which the surface is flat or substantially horizontal and a second position in which the surface is substantially vertical. At least one leg rotating mechanism may attach at least one leg of the article of furniture to the surface so that the at least one leg is rotatable about a vertical axis when the surface is tilted. In some embodiments, the article may be a table and the surface may be a tabletop. In other embodiments, the article may be a chair and the surface may be a seating surface of a seat.

Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a person's upper torso while kneeling and leaning forward against another substantially vertical surface while keeping the user's hands free. The device features a horizontal base connected to a rigid, canted support structure that extends up and away from the base to a planar surface. The support structure can be outfitted with a support member to contact the substantially vertical surface and provide further stability. Furthermore, the device can be outfitted with a horizontal tray including a reservoir to store tools and other objects.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a system and methods for providing protective coverage of an operational surface and any items that may be on the surface. Certain embodiments of the system may be used to help to maintain the sterility of a surface and the items on the surface. Advantageously, such embodiments of the system may be used to maintain the sterility of surgical instruments and materials, and the table surface on which they are placed prior to the start of the surgical procedure. Other embodiments of the system may be used to at least help to prevent the contamination of or maintain the freshness of food and the containers and utensils used to hold, prepare, and serve the food.

A current position, and an elapsed time that the workstation has been at the current position, is detected with an objective of providing pre-programmed routine or random automated reminders to a user to change the current position of the workstation from one elevation state to the other. The software tracks the percent of time that a user is standing and optionally compares this with a pre-defined goal. Automatic control via the user workstation, of workstation elevator actuators is provided in a manner that makes it easier, or otherwise unavoidable, for the user to initiate repositioning from a sitting to a standing position.

Abstract: A portable and foldable lift can be attached to a surface such as a tailgate of a truck. The lift can be slid off the gate and used to lift heavy objects from the ground to the bed of the truck. The portable and foldable lift is returned in a folded position to the tailgate for easy storage. These collars provide a structure that accepts the weight and moment between the tines and the pallet and spread it across of the entire front of the pallet. RFID modules can also be included.

Abstract: A novel transport pallet (1) has an inclined load bed that extends from a low end to a high end. A vehicle (15) is driven onto the pallet 1 from the low end, which is close to the ground. As the pallet (1) is longer than the vehicle (15) carried on it, the gradient of the load bed is small as compared to conventional loading ramps. Thus, there is very little risk of the vehicle (15) grounding as it is driven onto the load bed. The vehicle (15) is secured to the load bed by tie-down points around the load bed. A forklift truck lifts the pallet (1) by engaging its forks within recesses at the high end. The truck then places the pallet (1), low end leading, into a shipping container (14), lowers the pallet (1) so that it rests on the floor of the container (14), and disengages from the pallet (1). Thus, the vehicle (15) is housed safely within the container (14), with little risk of damage during shipping.

The pallets are light and inexpensive, tough and durable, water and damage resistant, fire retardant and non-slip. They can be produced by treating existing wooden pallets. The pallets may also have an RFID attached before coating for tracking the pallets and goods transported thereon.

Each laser barrier panel is maintained in the closed position by a spaced pair of rotatable latch tabs that selectively engage with the adjacent jamb members.
