  • Patent number: 11299372
Abstract: A climbing elevator system has an elevator shaft and an elevator car, a lifting platform, and a supporting device, wherein, in the course of different construction phases of a building, the lifting platform can be anchored at various positions within the elevator shaft. A protective roof is arranged above components of the lifting platform that are to be protected, such as a drive machine. The protective roof has a central roof structure and a peripheral flank structure that has flank walls fixed to the lateral edges of the central roof structure and project outwardly from the central roof structure at an angle with respect to the horizontal. Because of the inclined arrangement of the flank walls, the flank structure can better withstand falling objects and better protect components located underneath. Cantilevered edge regions of the flank walls can be supported on side walls of the elevator shaft.

Abstract: An exemplary stack board includes a base, a supporting platform and pivots connected between the base and the supporting platform. The base defines four guide channels therein. Each guide channel includes an oblique guide groove. The supporting platform is mounted on the base and capable of supporting a server system thereon. The pivots are received in the guide channels, respectively, and moveable along the oblique guide grooves such that the supporting platform is movable relative to the base from a first position substantially coinciding with the base to a second position protruding from one side of the base, with the supporting platform tiltable to an oblique orientation at the second position.

Abstract: Apparatus for transporting products including a body having ground wheels (22, 122) and support structure (30, 130) for one or more crates or other containers holding products to be carried by the apparatus. At least one ground engageable member (40, 140) fixed to said support structure forms an assembly with the support structure that is mounted to the body for relative movement between a retracted position in which the apparatus is freely moveable on a ground surface by means of the ground wheels and a relatively downwardly extended position in which the ground engageable member engages an underlying ground surface at a predetermined location to stabilize the apparatus against movement from that location on the ground wheels.

Abstract: In one example, a pallet is disclosed comprising a first pallet comprising a first side wall. The first wall has a length and a first groove lying in a plane and extending along the entire length. A second pallet comprising a second side wall is adjacent to the first side wall. The second side wall has a second length and a second groove lying in the plane and extending along the entire second length. The second groove faces the first groove and is aligned with the first groove in the plane, along the entire first and second lengths. A connecting member is within the aligned first and second grooves to connect the first and second pallets. Two unit, four unit, and larger pallets may be made. A method of using such pallets is also described.

Abstract: A pallet includes a platform and a plurality of support assemblies located at multiple positions on the platform. One support assembly is associated with each location of the component to be supported. Each support assembly has several linkage assemblies to position a support element in a desired location for each version of a component. The linkage assemblies each include multiple bases secured to the platform, to position the support element in the desired location. Securing a locking mechanism on the linkage assemblies prevents movement of the support element when in the desired position. To configure the pallet for another version of the component the locking mechanisms are released, the support elements are moved to another base and the locking mechanisms are secured again for each of the support assemblies.
