Wire Pallet Patents (Class 108/57.14)
  • Patent number: 10549822
Abstract: A floating structure and method for obtaining same. The structure includes a first plurality of tubes and a second plurality of tubes. The second plurality of tubes are inserted into the first plurality of tubes to extend through the upper portion of same, and both sets of tubes are welded together. The ends of the tubes of the first plurality of tubes are closed in order to be used as flotation tanks when the floating structure is fitted out for such use. The method concerns locking the first plurality of tubes in place on the frame, with pairs of holes in each of the first plurality of tubes being aligned, and a corresponding tube of the second plurality of tubes being inserted through each pair of aligned holes by force. Each of the connection portions or parts contained in the tubes are welded on the periphery of the holes.

  • Patent number: 9440770
Abstract: A plastic pallet for receiving flexible bulk containers comprises at least one pair of tunnel-shaped receptacles for the fork tines of a forklift, with the tunnel-shaped receptacles connecting two opposite sides of the plastic pallet. Each tunnel-shaped receptacle has a tunnel bottom that is formed by bottom ribs spaced by bottom air gaps. Each tunnel-shaped receptacle also has a tunnel vault that is formed by vault ribs spaced by vault air gaps. In each of the tunnel-shaped receptacles, the bottom ribs and vault ribs are staggered and dimensioned in such a way that a bottom rib is arranged below a vault air gap and a vault rib is arranged above a bottom air gap.

  • Patent number: 8752489
Abstract: The present invention discloses a pallet construction having a body including a plurality of interconnected structural members defining at least an upper support surface, a bottom and a plurality of interconnecting sides. A plurality of stand-offs extend from underside projecting locations of the body in order to elevate the bottom an upward distance from a ground supporting location. A mesh or other sheer material is provided and exhibits durable load carrying and anti-tear properties. The mesh is applied over at least the upper support surface and, in additional variants, along each of the extending side surfaces such that the body establishes a three dimensional volume defining interior. In order to support the mesh, the body includes upper and lower vertically spaced and rectangular perimeter defining members separated by spaced apart and vertically interconnecting members.

  • Patent number: 7942376
Abstract: A wire deck for supporting a load between two spaced parallel supports comprises a parallel array of first wires dimensioned to extend between the supports, and a parallel array of second wires extending across and joined to the first wires. The second wires have intermediate shaped sections projecting downwardly from an adjacent pair of first wires. The shaped sections define a channel-shaped path parallel to the first wires, with one of the first wires located at the base of that path.

  • Patent number: 6895871
Abstract: A portable, re-usable, elevated platform that provides a large, non-slip, grated surface on which an individual wearing a fully-encapsulated, hazardous materials suit may stand, and turn as needed to ensure thorough on-site decontamination. The platform generally comprises a top grate and two folding/pivoting support leg assemblies. The elevated design of the platform allows for the collection of the hazardous material runoff in a containment vessel deployed underneath. The platform is fabricated of impervious, strong, lightweight materials to prevent absorption of any hazardous materials and to provide sufficient structural strength while keeping its overall weight reasonable. The design is simple and straightforward, and can be economically manufactured.
