Each of the first guiding member and the second guiding member includes a base portion having a predetermined periphery, a guide surface facing to a side of the base portion, and a connecting portion for connection of the first guiding member and the second guiding member. The base portion includes a bottom surface provided with an attaching portion for attaching the guiding tool to an attachment surface of an object due to adhesion or suction. The guide surface of the first guiding member and the guide surface of the second guiding member are configured to be flush with each other when the first guiding member and the second guiding member are connected to each other.

Abstract: A sewing machine accessory includes a plate for attaching to a sewing machine workbed and to be located below a needle, the plate includes an opening and a guiding track, and a positioning device includes a sliding member slidably engaged with the guiding track of the accessory plate, and a pointed member extended from the sliding member for engaging with a cloth material to be stitched and for forming of an arced stitch on the cloth material, and the pointed member is movable close to the needle for stitching or forming a circular or arced stitch that includes a relatively decreased or smaller outer diameter.

Abstract: A sewing aid (10) is provided for capturing loose threads. The sewing aid (10) includes means (50) for releasably coupling sewing aid (10) to a sewing machine (90). Sewing aid (10) includes a body member (20) having a pair of extending legs (28 and 29) defining a U-shaped contour for body member (20). A continuous adhesive web (40) encompasses one of the pair of extending legs (28 or 29) and is in frictional engagement therewith. The adhesive web (40) is slidingly displaceable on the leg (28 or 29) to allow exposure of a fresh adhesive surface (41) previously maintained within the slot (27).

The automatic sewing machine exclusively used for sewing a zipper on a workpiece comprises a sewing machine (10, 20) capable of at least sewing linearly, a drive device movable in two axes right angles to each other in a plane vertical to the movement direction of the needle (11, 21) of the sewing machine and a zipper setting device (12, 22) attached to said drive device for gripping said zipper (3) and workpiece (1) in a predetermined relationship.

Abstract: A finger guard for a sewing machine is disclosed which fastens to the presser bar and protectively encloses a portion of the needle. The finger guard permits an operator to easily remove an arcuately rotatable snap on presser foot without the necessity of disturbing the finger guard.
