Abstract: A method of attaching hair extensions includes sectioning, beading, securing, and stitching hair extensions into a client's hair. Sectioning allows a hairdresser to properly place the hair extension, which creates beads that are unseen. The beads may be placed so as to allow a flexible groove to place the wefts. Securing the wefts includes a pattern of stitching that places a stitch at a side, middle, opposite side, and between the beads. This stitching pattern promotes secure wefts as well as prevents damage to scalp and hair.

Abstract: A weave may be created by attaching multiple, unwefted hair extensions to a series of braided rows of a person's natural hair using the strands of unwefted hair extensions to secure such hair extensions, by looping and knotting the hair extensions, to the braided rows of the person's natural hair. The method advantageously secures the hair extensions to the person's natural hair without using harmful chemicals or damaging the person's hair or scalp and such that the hair extensions may appear to be the person's natural hair. The semi-permanent hair extension apparatus can include a plurality of microbeads and a plurality of hair extension wefts. Abstract: The invention is directed to a seamless threading method of inserting hair extensions in a user's hair. The method includes sectioning and beading a user's natural hair. A bottom hair extension weft is then positioned under the beaded sections of hair. The beaded hair is then laid on top of the bottom weft and clipped to secure the bottom weft in place. A top hair extension weft is positioned above the bottom weft in a reversed orientation, with the beaded hair in between the two wefts. Next, a user sews through the top weft, bottom weft, and optionally the beads. The threading begins on a first side of the upper and lower weft strips, extends across the wefts to the second side of the wefts. The threading can then be reversed and sewn back to the first side using a single portion of thread. The upper weft can then be inverted, and the upper weft hair flipped back and smoothed down. Advantageously, the thread is seamless without being visible because the weft strips are sewn from the inside out.

The wearer's natural hair is not disposed over the fabric at the edges of the opening. Alternatively, a leave-out of the wearers natural hair does not cover the wig hair adjacent to the edges of the opening. The wig hair adjacent to the edges of the opening may be tangled or the installer may tease the wig hairs adjacent to the edges of the opening. The invention is also a wig for application of the method.

The hair extension weft includes several gaps formed between the plurality of meshes in the longitudinal direction. Each gap is configured to receive a plurality of hairs from the human scalp. Upon clipping the hair extension weft to the human scalp, the plurality of hairs is pulled through each gap with a needle shaped tool placed under the each gap of the hair extension weft. A microbead is clamped to the plurality of hairs pulled through the each gap, to anchor the hair extension weft to the human scalp.
