Abstract: A clothing garment accessory includes a metal strip configured to be positioned inside an existing garment fabric while being worn by a user. The strip is flexible and configured to be morphed into a coiled helical shape at a bottom hem of the existing garment fabric. The metal strip is further configured to create a knot-like appearance at the bottom hem of the existing garment fabric. The metal strip is hidden from ambient lines of sight exterior of the existing garment fabric when the knot-like appearance exists at the bottom hem of the existing garment fabric.

Abstract: An adjustable hair tie where the band or cord can easily be adjusted to a variety of thicknesses of hair. The hair tie includes an elongated stretchable cord, a cleat, a plurality of apertures positioned along the length of the cleat, a first set of apertures forming a first passageway, and a second set of apertures forming a second passageway. The first end of the cord is securely attached at one end of the cleat, and the second end of the cord traverses through the second passageway. The free end of the cord is pulled under the application of force to crimp the cord and the cord loops around the cleat such that when the force is removed, the cord contracts, causing it to constrict, thereby securing the cord within the cleat and providing an easily adjustable sized cord loop to retain hair.

Abstract: A headband is provided that includes an elastic outside and an inside lining. A top portion of the elastic outside forms the outside of the headband and has an elasticity. A bottom portion of the inside lining forms the inside of the headband and has an elasticity. Both the elastic outside and the inside lining are connected to make the headband a 360-degree elastic headband. At least the bottom portion of the inside lining includes a velvet material that forms a gripping portion. The elastic outside and the inside lining provide an elastic headband.

Abstract: A drink spiking prevention device includes a hair accessory and a cover. The hair accessory having a band forming a circle and the band being elastic. The hair accessory further having a hair accessory fabric forming a tube that encapsulates the elastic band and a pouch coupled to the hair accessory fabric. The cover is stored in and removeable from the pouch. The cover includes a cover fabric that extends to a perimeter, an aperture formed in the cover fabric, and a cord extending from the perimeter and coupled to the hair accessory. The cover covers an opening of a cup by the perimeter stretching over and conforming to a diameter of the opening to prevent new material from being added to a liquid in the cup.

Abstract: A hair piece of artificial, animal or natural hair or a combination thereof wherein the hair piece is configured to be used as a removable hair piece such as a ponytail or hair extension. The hair piece may include an attachment member for attachment to the ponytail of a user. The hair piece may further include a bendable spine member to allow the user to adjust the configuration of the hair piece. The hair piece may further include an elongate flexible member having a greater rigidity than the hair wherein the elongate member is interwoven in the strands of the hair to allow the user to adjust the configuration of the hair piece. Abstract: A leg restraint includes a buckle portion in the form of a buckle frame attached to a strap portion. The strap portion includes a section of a loop fabric of a hook-and-loop fastener and a section of a hook fabric of the hook-and-loop fastener. The buckle portion is pliable and resilient and configured to accept the strap within the loop of the buckle frame. The strap is configured to be fed through the buckle frame and looped back on itself to allow the loop portion of the strap to contact the hook portion of the strap, thereby fastening the two strap portions together through the engagement of the hook-and-loop fastener. The strap may have the hook and loop fabric exposed on both faces of the strap such that the strap may be looped back in either direction for fastening.

Abstract: Apparatus, systems and methods related to hair ties. In a first illustrative embodiment, a securing apparatus, such as a hair tie, has a middle section formed as an elongated pliable member. At a first end, a fastener body is attached to the elongated pliable member. At a second end, two connection loops may be disposed. In use, the fastener body may be passed through one of the two connection loops to configure the pliable member as a relatively large loop. This relatively large loop may be tightened, by drawing the pliable member further through the loop, until it is drawn tight on material to be retained therein. The pliable member may then be wrapped around the retained material until secured with the fastener body adjacent the connection loops. The fastener body may then be passed through the second connection loop to be retained therein.

The outer woven layer is configured to be woven together with the two elastic strips to cover the inner elastic band, and through a weaving process, a plurality of small diameter sections and a plurality of large diameter sections are alternatively formed on the main body. Each of the elastic strips has an elastic protruding portion formed on an outer periphery thereof. The protruding portions improve the resilience of the main body and the frictions at the large diameter sections of the main body so as to prevent a bead coupled around the small diameter sections of the main body from sliding or detaching from the main body.

Abstract: Hats including hair ports are disclosed herein. One hat includes a first portion, a second portion, and a set of straps coupling the first portion and the second portion. Here, the set of straps, the first portion, and the second portion create a set of ports located at a rear portion of the hat that extends from a crown of the hat to a bottom of the hat. Further, at least one port in the set of ports includes a size that allows the hair of a person wearing the hat to be placed there through.

Abstract: An applicator apparatus is adapted to individually and sequentially apply one or more hair bands to strands of hair. The applicator apparatus incorporates first and second band lifters which undergo a sequence of movements to engage hair bands supported by a band cartridge and advance the hair bands along the band cartridge for release on the strands of hair. The band cartridge supports the hair bands in spaced relation for sequential engagement of individual hair bands and maneuvering by the first and second hair band lifters.

Abstract: A hair curling system embodying a novel device and method for overnight use is provided. The hair curling system includes a sectioning tool and a separate curling strip. The sectioning tool may include an elastic cord forming a loop shape, wherein a stopper member is disposed there along. The curling strip may include an elongated strip of material that terminates in a collar. The collar may define a collar opening adapted to receive the stopper member. The user may use the sectioning tool to secure a predetermined section of hair whereby the stopper member may subsequently receive the collar and thus hang the attached elongated strip near the scalp of the user. The user may then twirl the predetermined section of hair using the entire curling strip. The sectioning tool is then removed, facilitating a comfortable sleep with at least one curling strip in place.

Abstract: A jewelry item includes a first ornament, a conical helical coil, and a pad. The conical helical coil includes a plurality of turns, the first ornament being attached to a first turn of the plurality of turns. The pad includes a central bore configured for receiving the helical coil. The jewelry item further includes a second ornament engaging a second turn of the plurality of turns. A compressive force between adjacent turns of the helical coil couples the jewelry item to a body part.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding the hair and also the headwear stationary consists of a headwear, at least one comb piece, and an attachment mechanism. The headwear is made of a soft fabric material which can also be moisture absorbent. An elastic material allows the headwear to be worn conveniently. When the headwear is worn, the at least one comb piece secures the headwear with the user's hair. In order to do so, the at least one comb piece is attached to the headwear with the attachment mechanism. More specifically, a shaft of the at least one comb piece is attached to an inner annular surface of the headwear. Resultantly, the at least one comb piece will be positioned in between a top edge and a bottom edge of the headwear.

Once a user places her hair on the channel roll, the hair protection flaps are folded in over the hair, thereby containing, retaining, and protecting the hair. The ends of the user's hair are wrapped around the style bar and the top hair retention roll is wrapped over the bar and the hair and bar are rolled approximately to the user's scalp. First and second wrap ties attach near the top of the triangular body and are used to secure the apparatus to the user's head.

A method of manufacturing a textured elastic hair band includes the steps of providing an elastic core including an elastic core substrate and a sheath of textile fibers over the elastic core substrate, applying an adhesive material over an outer surface of the sheath, exposing the elastic core to flocking fibers, removing non-adhered flocking fibers from the elastic core, and curing the adhesive material. The step of applying flocking fibers can also include placing the elastic core in a flocking chamber containing the flocking fibers, applying a static electric charge, stopping the static electric charge after the period of time, and removing the flocked elastic core from the flocking chamber.

The ductile metallic members may be separated from each other along a portion of their longitudinal lengths to define an opening for receiving a bundle of hair. The opposing ductile metallic members may also be closed about the bundle of hair to secure the hair accessory within a wearer's hair.

The keeper device includes one or more flexible guides for conducting a cord in a desired path. The flexible guides act as a conduit to route the cord and prevent strands from snagging with cord movement. The flexible guides and the cord are operable to secure the strands in a desired position. In some implementations, the keeper device includes an interchangeable vanity cover, removeably attached to the keeper device.

Abstract: Process and device for making hair buns is disclosed. The invention described here reduces the effort and shortens the amount of time necessary to form a hair bun that remains in place for an extended period of time without the use of bobby pins or other hairpin devices.

In some embodiments, the body is hollow and filled with one or more of a gel substance, a granular solid, and a viscous liquid.
