Abstract: A fence comprising one or more fencing panels with corresponding supports, each fencing panel has perforations, and each fencing panel is scored at least once enabling the folding of one or more portions. The perforations allow for the flow of water, whilst inhibiting the access of small typically endangered, animals to a site. Scoring the fence allows for a lip or lips to be formed on the fence and to further inhibit animal movement.

Abstract: A vehicular sunshade has a shade panel and an articulating support frame. The panel is made of a flexible opaque material. The frame has extendible arms, a central support, and a yoke. The yoke surrounds the central support and slides relative thereto between distal and proximal ends thereof. The flexible arms are hingedly affixed to the yoke and extend outwardly therefrom. The panel is affixed to the frame. A latch near to the central support's distal end engages the yoke to retain the yoke there-at, to thereby retain the sunshade in an expanded configuration with the flexible arms extended outwardly to cause the panel into a horizontally elongated rectangular planar shape. The latch may be depressed to allow the yoke to slide towards the central support's proximal end to allow the flexible arms to bend at the elbows such that the sunshade is transformed into a compacted storage configuration.

Abstract: A vehicle sun shield includes an elongated shaft having a collar slidably mounted thereon that expands a plurality of support ribs and an overlaying, reflective canopy. Accordingly, a user adjusts a handle mechanism at a lower end of the shaft to a desired length and fully expands the canopy. The canopy is positioned immediately adjacent to the windshield interior with the handle resting on the vehicle console or on the upper surface of the dashboard.

Abstract: A convertible parasol and fan pair using a specially constructed post/handle that has a top to receive the fans. The top has a graduated upper surface with hook and loop fastener components that match a corresponding hook and loop fasteners attached to the arms of the fans. In this way, a dancer can quickly attach a pair of fans to the top of the post to form a parasol, which can then be used in the performance. At the desired time, the fans can quickly be removed to continue the performance in another direction. The ability to quickly change from fans to a parasol and then back to fans is a desired performance-enhancing tool.

Abstract: A mechanism for folding and unfolding the top of a tent includes a connecting seat, a sliding seat and an elastic telescopic part. The connecting seat is connected with a tent top rod in a pivoted mode, and the sliding seat is connected with a connecting part in a pivoted mode and moves up and down with respect to the connecting seat. The other end of the connecting part is connected onto the tent top rod in a pivoted mode. The middle portion of the connecting seat extends downwards to form an accommodating seat which accommodates the elastic telescopic part. The upper portion of the sliding seat forms a sinking seat which has an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the accommodating seat.

Abstract: An assemble-free fast deployable light modifier with a back side light source mount is an umbrella shaped light modifier providing an extremely soft diffusive light; with attached light diffusers, it uniquely easily and quickly opens from the vertex of its hemisphere to the inside of it, and folds in hands promptly; having optical fibers increases a number of light source sensor triggering. Any assembling or disassembling operations are not required. With the features mentioned above it is the fastest deployable light modifier.

Abstract: An umbrella hub is provided that includes a hub body and a plurality of slots. The hub body extends between an outer periphery and a central aperture configured to receive an umbrella pole. The slots comprise a pivot zone configured to receive and retain a mounting pin of an umbrella rib or strut. The hub can be loaded in a generally horizontal direction. Deflectable surfaces enable rigid pins of the umbrella rib or strut to be engaged with the hub for pivoting therein.

The hub has a top surface, a plurality of side walls forming a slot therebetween, and a displaceable retention device having a free end disposed at an elevation below the top surface. The displaceable retention device is moveable laterally away from the slot. The structural member has an end configured to swing in the slot. The end has a laterally extending rotation device. The rotation device extends laterally beyond the free end of the displaceable retention device when the end is disposed in the slot.

Abstract: An umbrella having housing with a deployable canopy extendable and retractable therefrom. The canopy comprises a material covering supported by flexible ribs and rib extension retainer cords. The umbrella further provides an adjustable strap extending between the exterior distal ends and a handle on one distal end of a flexible collapsible material. The adjustable strap further provides a D-ring and clasp on one end allowing for removal of said strap.

Abstract: A disposable umbrella includes a staff having an upper end and a lower end suitable for gripping by a user. A fixed collar is mounted on the upper end of the staff. A plurality of main struts are pivotably attached to the fixed collar and extend radially from the fixed collar. The main struts are movable from collapsed positions, wherein the main struts extend generally parallel to the staff, to open positions, wherein the main struts extend outwardly from the staff. A water-resistant or waterproof film forming a canopy is fixed to the main struts, such as by adhesive, and extends generally from the staff to the extended ends of the main struts. A slidable collar has a bore therethrough and is slidably mounted for movement along the staff.

Abstract: A sunshade for an infant car seat or similar which is held in position by inserting a rear panel between the car seat and the vehicle seat on which it rests. A top panel, flexibly connected to the rear panel extends forward over the car seat to provide shade. Side panels extend downward from the sides of the top panel to provide increased protection. An optional front flap extends downward from the front edge of the top panel at an adjustable angle to further increase the level of protection. The side panels may be individually folded up and over the top panel to a stored position when not needed. The top and side panels can be folded upward and rearward as a unit to improve access to the car seat. Optional lengthwise creases in the side panels allow them to be folded into a more compact size to decrease the clearance necessary around the car seat in order to move the side panels between their stored and deployed positions.

Abstract: A collapsible wind-resistant umbrella including an elongated main support pole and an umbrella top. The umbrella top includes a tubular secondary pole slidably translatable over the main support pole, a hub connected at an upper end thereof to the secondary pole and supportively engaged against a support member on the main support pole whereby the secondary pole and hub are supported on the upright main support pole. A plurality of vanes, each being wider at the outer end thereof, are pivotally connected in evenly spaced relation at a central or inner end thereof to and around substantially the entire hub periphery. A vane carrier is mounted for sliding translation over the secondary pole and a plurality of rigid or semi-rigid vane support rods are pivotally connected at one end thereof in evenly spaced relation to and around substantially the entire said vane carrier periphery. The end of each said vane support rod is pivotally connected to a mid point of one longitudinal edge of each corresponding vane.
