The length has a cross section sufficiently rigid to resist deformation associated with fluid in the lumen. The socket is coupled to the length at a site of at least one aperture. The socket has a bore in fluid communication with the aperture.

Abstract: A retractable water dispenser arm system for a grinder/polisher includes a flexible hose formed, in part in a loop and affixed at at least one location to a base of the grinder polisher. A spout is mounted to an end of the flexible hose. A biased tension arm engages the hose at the loop, and is moveable, along with movement of the hose, to maintain the hose in tension. The biased tension arm includes a roller over which the hose traverses. A mount on the base is configured to receive the spout and is further configured for traverse of the hose therethrough. The mount includes a mount roller operably mounted thereto for guiding the hose through the mount.

Abstract: The present embodiments are directed towards the transfer, retrieval and storage of flexible materials. In one embodiment, a system is provided that generally includes a hose retrieval system having a first hose gripper assembly. The first hose gripper assembly includes a pair of first grippers configured to move between a first open position and a first closed position in opposite crosswise directions relative to a longitudinal axis of a hose. Each first gripper includes a first L-shaped structure, and the first L-shaped structures are configured to overlap one another to define a first bending gap in the first closed position.

  • Patent number: 8424791
Abstract: A reel assembly comprises a spool member configured to rotate about a spooling axis to wind or unwind a linear material. The spool member is also configured to rotate about a reciprocation axis that is substantially perpendicular to the spooling axis. A housing substantially encloses the spool member and comprises first and second housing portions that are rotatable with respect to one another about the reciprocation axis. The first housing portion defines an aperture configured to receive the linear material therethrough. A rotating member is configured to rotate when the spool member rotates about the spooling axis. The rotating member is mechanically linked with respect to the first housing portion via one or more intervening components, such that each revolution of the rotating member produces one cycle of relative reciprocating rotation between the spool member and the first housing portion about the reciprocation axis.

Abstract: A hose looping supporter (21) is provided on an upper surface (13A) of a lid (13) of a tank body (12) constituting an operating oil tank (11). This hose looping supporter (21) is constituted by a mounting member (22) mounted on the lid (13) and four retaining arms (23) each bent in a substantially J-shape. A suction hose (19) has its midway portion adapted to be looped annularly, and this looped hose portion (19B) is mounted by being held looped by each revolving frame (23). Meanwhile, in the case of replenishing a fuel tank (15) with fuel, the suction hose (19) can be easily removed from each retaining arm (23) of the hose looping supporter (21) by reducing the diameter of the looped hose portion (19B) of the suction hose (19).

Abstract: A compression control unit for a compression device includes a mount on the back of a housing for mounting the compression control unit on a bed unit. The mount includes a securing portion spaced from a back of the housing and lying in a plane generally opposing the back of the housing. The securing portion partially defines a channel for receiving a part of the bed unit to secure the compression control unit to the bed unit. Spaced apart wing portions extend generally upward and laterally outward relative to the securing portion. The wing portions are configured so that fluid tubing secured to an outlet of the compression control unit can be wrapped around the wing portions when the compression control unit is mounted on the bed unit.

The hose heater includes an enclosure having a hose reel for storing the hose also having an electrical heating unit to warm the stored hose between uses. A heating core located in the center of the reel provides heat, keeping the hose from freezing. The enclosure which itself may be heated or unheated, blankets the hose to provide heat to the outer hose coils to ensure that the extremities are maintained at a freeze-free temperature. This can be used in small scale farming, outside use, and other areas where animals and ice rinks need watering in winter with a hose.
