Abstract: The insulated cooler includes a body, a lid, and at least one latch assembly. The body includes an outer shell, an inner liner disposed therein creating a gap therebetween, and an insulating layer disposed within the gap. The body defines a cavity therein with an opening formed at its upper end. The lid is removably coupled to the body and covers the body's opening. The latch assembly includes an upper component having at least one aperture formed therein, a lower component having at least one opening formed therein, and an intermediate component having a first portion coupled to the upper component and a second portion coupled to the lower component. The intermediate component is fabricated using a thermoplastic rubber. The upper component is coupled to the lid using at least one aperture. The lower component is coupled to a top portion of the outer shell using at least one opening.

Abstract: A hinge assembly for use on a grill that permits the selective removal of the lid from the bowl, the hinge assembly including a stationary bowl bracket affixed to the bowl, a pivotable middle bracket pivotably mounted to the bowl bracket and a removable lid bracket affixed to the lid and removably secured to the middle bracket.

Abstract: A fastener for securing a door hinge to a wooden jamb is provided. The fastener includes an anchor and a screw. The anchor has a wall formed by a plurality of splines enclosing a central inner void extending along the length of the anchor. The screw has a shaft extended between a tapered head and a tip and a threaded portion that extends along the length of the shaft. The anchor is inserted into a drilled hole in the wooden jamb. A door hinge is positioned on the wooden jamb and the screw is concentrically inserted into the central inner void of the anchor. The turning of the screw causes linear displacement of the tip of the anchor towards the tapered head of the screw causing expansion of the wall of the anchor against the wooden wall of the drilled hole and firmly holds the fastener secured in the hole.

Abstract: A shelf assembly for a refrigerator includes a frame assembly having front and rear frame members with respective front and rear channels. A panel includes first and second ends, wherein the first end is fully received in the front channel, and further wherein the second end is partially received in the rear channel. A spacer assembly includes a spacer member and one or more clip members extending upwardly from a base portion. The clip members are clipped to mounting apertures disposed on the second portion of the rear frame member. The spacer member is received through a receiving aperture disposed through the rear frame member. The spacer member extends into the rear channel and engages the second end of the panel when the spacer assembly is clipped to the rear frame member to retain the panel in the channels of the front and rear frame members.

Abstract: A supporting frame for a flexible display panel includes a bending member and a plurality of supporting members. The bending member supports a bendable area of the flexible display panel and is configured to be bent. The plurality of supporting members support non-bendable display areas of the flexible display panel, and each connect to a plurality of connecting surfaces of the bending member.

Abstract: To provide a support for supporting a flexible component and a light-emitting device. A first substrate, a second substrate, a rack, a pinion, and a hinge are provided. When the second substrate is moved, the rotational force of the pinion is transmitted to the rack of the first substrate and thus the first substrate is moved in the horizontal direction while being overlapped with one of hinge pieces of the hinge; accordingly, the flexible component can be bent while the flexible component is fixed to the first substrate and the second substrate and the allowable curvature radius is maintained in the vicinity of the hinge.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a flex hinge having a first flexible sheet that bends at a different radius than a second flexible sheet when the flex hinge is transitioned from a first position to a second position. A mounting bracket fixes each of the flexible sheets to the information handling system, and a friction linkage engages with slots within the first and second flexible sheets. An organic light emitting diode is connected to the flex hinge.

The first hinge element is configured to be coupled to the first connection part, the at least one second hinge element configured to be coupled to the second connection part. The first connection part and the second connection part are close to each other by rotation of at least one of the at least one first hinge element and the at least one second hinge element around the hinge shaft. A housing assembly and an electronic device are also provided.

Abstract: A motor vehicle is disclosed having A-pillars and B-pillars on a first side of the motor vehicle and a B-pillar but no ‘A’ pillar on a second side of the motor vehicle. A wrap around window extends from the A-pillar on the first side of the motor vehicle substantially without interruption to the B-pillar on the second side of the motor vehicle. The wrap around window forms part of a top hinged door that provides access to a passenger compartment when in an open state.

Abstract: A flex hinge assembly includes a first flex hinge, which in turn includes multiple flexible sheets, a mounting bracket, multiple flexible spacer sheets, and a friction linkage element. A first flexible sheet bends at a different radius than a second flexible sheet when the first flex hinge is transitioned from a first position to a second position. The mounting bracket is fixed to a first end of each of the flexible sheets, and fixes the first end of each of the flexible sheets to a first portion of an information handling system. A first spacer sheet is located between and in physical communication with the first and second flexible sheet. The friction linkage element is mounted to the second flexible sheet and engaged with slots within a second end of each of the flexible sheets. A second mounting bracket couples the second end of a center flexible sheet to the information handling system.

Abstract: A foldable display is disclosed. In one aspect, the foldable display includes a bendable display panel and a housing positioned at a rear side of the display panel and configuration to be folded and unfolded. The foldable display also includes a sliding unit installed between the display panel and the housing and configured to slide the display panel along the housing so as to alter a bending region of the display panel that is folded when the foldable display is folded.

Abstract: The present invention is a garnish that is specially designed to cover the hinge arm connecting a vehicle truck lid to the vehicle. The cover includes an inside surface, a first end and a second end. The cover further includes a rib and a flange portion. The rib is located along the inside surface of the cover at the first end. Opposite the rib, the flange portion extends generally orthogonally from the first end of the cover. The rib and flange portion help to secure the garnish and increase its effectiveness at covering other components of the vehicle.

The first shaft member extends rotatably through the connecting member. The pivoting member is connected co-rotatably to the first shaft member, and is connected to the object. The pivoting member has at least one limiting surface facing the object. The shock absorber is disposed between the limiting surface of the pivoting member and the object for preventing collision between the pivoting member and the object. The restoring unit is disposed in the connecting member for driving rotation of the first shaft member toward a neutral position.

Abstract: A hinge for transport cases, trunks, suitcases and the like, comprising two elements which are mutually articulated about a common axis and are both able to rotate with respect to the common axis. Each element is delimited by two parallel walls and has a total width that is equal to the width of the channel delimited between the stiffening ribs of the transport case, suitcase or trunk on which it will be installed. Each element is associable with the stiffening ribs of the respective transport case, once it is inserted between the ribs, without requiring any mechanical machining of the surfaces of the case.

Abstract: A sandwich mechanism is disclosed that has to opposing members that form a pocket into which material such as downspout sheet metal can be inserted. The opposing members clamp onto the downspout and can be secured into place using a screw that passes through the opposing members and the inserted downspout. Two sandwich mechanisms may be coupled together using a brace or a hinged member. The hinged member will permit a user to independently articulate the coupled pieces of downspout or downspout extension.

Abstract: A downspout hinge system where a plurality of downspout hinges are used as a one-size-fits-all solution for downspouts of a variety of sizes. The system of hinges utilize a first downspout hinge and a second downspout hinge coupling a downspout to a downspout extension. The downspout hinges are coupled to opposing surfaces of the downspout, including opposing sides of the same horizontal surface. Alternatively the downspout hinge may be coupled to opposing lateral sides of a downspout. Alternatively a downspout hinge may couple to more than one surface of the downspout.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a first object and a hinge structure. The first object includes a rear plate, and a plurality of positioning posts is located on the rear plate. Abstract: A method for installing a truss-wall stud unit includes coupling a set of bottom plates with a foundation, coupling a set of hinge brackets with the set of bottom plates, coupling a first partial truss with a second partial truss to form a truss-wall stud unit, coupling the truss-wall stud unit with the bottom plates and hinge brackets, and hoisting the truss-wall stud unit into a substantially vertical position. A system includes truss-wall stud units which are connected to bottom plates using hinge brackets. Once connected to the hinge brackets and bottom plates, the truss-wall stud units are hoisted upright into a substantially vertical position using a cable system with a cable support system. Temporary interlocking spacer bars are used to brace the truss-wall stud units at predetermined intervals.

Abstract: I designed the “Classic Step Store Gate”, It does not use a pivot post. Classic, Step Store Gate uses my special hinge made by modifying a strap hinge. “Classic” is different in design; “Classic” has a rounded firm handrail across the top, and can help prevent a fall at the steps. It is used at steps going up or down. The opening end of the gate is lifted to open toward steps or into the room. The “Classic Step Store Gate”, has an attractive clean look from the front view, and an interesting mechanical view from the back. The gate can be stored along the wall on the steps.

Abstract: A hinge assembly for pivotably attaching a door to a home appliance includes a hinge bracket having a body; a hooking member that releasably engages a receiving feature of the home appliance; and a securing member fixed to the body. A fastener secures the securing member to the appliance in an operating position of the door and such that removal of the fastener releases the securing member from the home appliance so that the hooking member can be disengaged from the receiving feature to allow removal of the door from the home appliance, and the engagement of the hooking member with the receiving feature supports the weight of the door when the fastener is removed such that the receiving feature of the appliance supports the weight of the door to maintain a temporary vertical position of the door.

Abstract: A foldable carport comprising a header having a hinge socket fastened to an inhabitable structure and, a connection beam, a tilt beam, and a roof deck spanning between the two beams, all of which comprise a roof assembly. The connection beam includes a hinge member that is received into the header socket thereby operably connecting the roof assembly to the header. The operable connection allows the roof assembly to be positioned in an erected position or a folded position. When erected, the tilt beam is supported by a plurality of posts that may bear on a concrete slab, footing, or the ground. The foldable carport may also include a carrier plate coupled to the mobile residence configured to fasten the roof assembly to the mobile residence when the carport is in the folded position.

Abstract: A hinge structure includes a first connecting member, a tray for securing a first component, and a second connecting member for securing a second component. The first connecting member includes two clamping panels substantially parallel to each other. A retaining panel extends from the tray. The second connecting member is rotatably secured to the first connecting member. The retaining panel is located between the two clamping panels, for preventing the tray from moving in a direction substantially perpendicular to the two clamping panels.

Abstract: The invention relates to a furniture hinge comprising a base plate, which is designed to be fastened to a furniture body, and a hinge arm that is mounted so as to be movable by an adjustment device in a controlled manner relative to the base plate within a predetermined adjustment range, wherein the adjustment device prevents the hinge arm from falling from the base plate by displacement. The furniture hinge has a fall guard for the hinge arm which prevents the hinge arm from falling relative to the base plate upon uncontrolled displacement of the hinge arm caused by failure of the adjustment device, and the hinge arm is mounted so as to be movable relative to the base plate within the predetermined adjustment range despite the fall guard.

Abstract: A pivot mechanism and a tent frame using same are disclosed. The pivot mechanism includes a first unit having two spaced mounting brackets formed with a pivot hole each; and a second unit including a main body, two protruded shafts movably connected to two opposite side surfaces of the main body, and an elastic member connected to the protruded shafts. The protruded shafts can shift between a compressed position, in which a smallest distance between two protruded end surfaces of the protruded shafts is not larger than a distance between two facing sides of the mounting brackets, and a sprung-out position, in which the two protruded shafts are protruded from the side surfaces of the main body into the pivot holes on the mounting brackets. When the second unit is pushed to a proper position between the two mounting brackets, the protruded shafts will automatically extend into the pivot holes.

Hinge member includes a first hinge end and a connecting end to connect to a first structural member of an infant support apparatus along a first axis. The second hinge member includes a hinge end and a connecting end to connect to structural member of the infant support apparatus along a second axis. The hinge members are pivotal about an axis between a bent condition wherein the first and second longitudinal axes are non-aligned and a straight condition wherein the first and second longitudinal axes are generally aligned. The hinge ends are configured such that the amount of the profiles which overlap prevent the formation of a finger trap.

Abstract: An assembly fixture used to assemble hinges to a display panel assembly includes a base to support the display and at least one hinge mounting member fixed on the base. Each hinge mounting member includes two support bars projected from the base, a axle and a rotatable arm. The opposite ends of the axle respectively rotatably connected to the tops of the two support bars. The rotatable arm can rotated in concert with the axle. Each rotatable arm further includes at least two protruding portions to position the hinge and at least one magnetic element to attract the hinge, thereby fixing the hinge to the rotatable arm.

Abstract: A portable computing device can include one or more clutch assemblies that can include a conductive elastomer configured to contact at least a portion of the clutch assembly of the portable computing device. The conductive elastomer can be configured to also contact at least one region of the base portion of the portable computing device. In one embodiment, the conductive elastomer can be disposed on the clutch assembly. The conductive elastomer can enhance an electrical coupling between two or more regions of the base portion, especially in the region near the conductive elastomer and the clutch assembly. The enhanced coupling can increase a performance of an electrical shield provided by the two or more regions of the base portion.
