    Abstract: A method of processing greensheets for use as microelectronic substrates comprises providing a greensheet having a width, a length and a thickness, bonding to the greensheet, within the greensheet width and length, a frame adapted to constrain movement of the greensheet within the frame, processing the greensheet and bonded frame, and removing the frame from the processed greensheet. The processing of the greensheet and bonded frame may include punching vias in the greensheet, filling the vias in the greensheet with conductive material, patterning the greensheet by applying conductive paste to the vias and greensheet surface, stacking the patterned greensheet and bonded frame with at least one other patterned greensheet and bonded frame, and laminating the greensheets. The frame is preferably removed from the processed greensheet after laminating the greensheets, and before the laminated greensheets are subsequently sintered.

    Abstract: The voltage class rating of a transformer is increased by increasing the rating of an off the shelf molded transformer bushing. Specifically, the voltage class rating is increased by increasing the distance from the non-insulated portion of a conductor of a transformer bushing and the transformer wall. A conductive extension is connected to the conductor of the bushing. Insulating material in the form of mastic and heat shrink tubing is applied to the external portion of the conductor and the extension. When the modified transformer bushing is installed into a transformer, an internal end of the conductor is made to extend below the surface of the oil in the transformer. The level of the oil also covers an internal insulating shoulder of the bushing.

The keys and slots generally extend a length of the lower pieces and thus mating the lower pieces together includes engaging the keys and slots and sliding one lower piece along an axis relative to the other lower piece. Preferably, the lower pieces are substantially identical. In contrast to conventional tee connection casings, the lower pieces of the preferred embodiment can be mated together without disconnecting any conductors from the three-way electrical connection. Similarly, the protective casing can be removed and replaced with a new casing without disconnecting any electrical connections.

    Abstract: An elbow terminator has a socket in which an electrical probe is disposed. A latching mechanism produces positive latching between the tongue and socket when the tongue has been inserted to a predescribed depth within the socket. Alternatively, the bushing can be provided with gauge tabs which become aligned with a witness line formed on the terminator when positive latching occurs.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a grommet with a grommet body having an insertion aperture into which a corrugated tube is inserted, and a slit extending from the insertion aperture to an outer peripheral surface of the grommet body so that the slit can be opened and closed. In addition, after mounting the corrugated tube, the slit is tightly closed, and thus waterproofness and soundproofness of the grommet are not adversely affected.
