    Abstract: A combination weighing apparatus for performing a combination weighing of a plurality of articles to be weighed includes a plurality of containers Tb each bearing an information storage medium 1 on or from which product information including a weight value of the article to be weighed M2 is recorded or read-out, respectively, a write-in device 15 for writing the product information in the information storage medium 1, a read-out device 16 for reading the product information from the information storage medium 1, and a calculating device 4 for combining respective weight values of the articles to be weighed M2 which have been read out and for selecting a combination having a weight equal or approximating to a target value within a predetermined weight allowance. This combination weighing apparatus is effective to accomplish an easy and accurate combination calculation even though the order of transport of the articles to be weighed M2 changes.

    Abstract: A control system is disclosed for controlling the filling of bottles, flacons, and the like with a predetermined weight, whereby the value of the weight measured during the filling operation at which the tap associated with every filling zone is turned off, can be corrected automatically. The system comprises device for processing the value of the weight difference between the theoretical value, of the real value of the weight of one bottle, as measured on completion of the filling operation, for every filling zone. Control devices are also provided for processing a correction factor on the basis of the calculated weight difference, to obtain a new value for the weight measured during the filling operation, at which value the tap associated with that channel must be turned off. Also disclosed is the method of weight responsive filling on which the system operates.

The scale also includes weight code generating mechanism, a keyboard for entering numerical information, and the microcomputer.The single multi-digit indicator can also display tare weight, which is entered via the keyboard when there is no weight on the platter. If tare is entered and subsequent weight on the platter is less than entered tare, the calculating function is inhibited. If platter motion is detected with weight on the platter, the display will reset to the weight indicating condition and then sequence to show again price per unit weight (if entered) and total price.
