  • Patent number: 11834002
Abstract: This invention relates to an auxiliary tool for automobiles, specifically an adjustable car latch footboard that includes a footboard, a hook, a bracket component, and a pivot. The footboard hinges on the bracket component through the pivot, and the hook is mounted at one end of the bracket component opposite to the other end of the footboard. The hook is attached to the car latch, and the other end of the bracket component is pressed against the car door frame. One end of the footboard is pressed against the hook or the car latch. When the footboard is pressed against the hook, the car latch is positioned between the footboard and the hook. When the footboard is pressed against the car latch, the footboard and the hook grip onto the car latch.

Abstract: An ascent aid on a rail vehicle having a vehicle body includes a step and at least one folding mechanism fastened to the step at one end, as seen in longitudinal direction of the step. The folding mechanism has two lateral rods connecting the step to the vehicle body at hinges. The folding mechanism has a connecting rod additionally connecting one of the lateral rods to the vehicle body at hinges. The connecting rod is split into two parts by a folding hinge. The folding hinge is coupled to an action of force on the folding hinge causing the step to be folded at the hinges between first and second positions relative to the vehicle. In the first position, an ascent to a driver's cab of the vehicle is assisted. In the second position, the step is folded to maintain a predetermined clearance gauge of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8881867
Abstract: A movable type ladder device for a work vehicle includes a ladder main body, a drive mechanism, and an up-and-down lock mechanism. The ladder main body has first and second end portions in a longitudinal direction thereof with the first end portion being rotatably supported with respect to the vehicle body. The drive mechanism is configured to move the ladder main body between a boarding posture and a retracted posture by rotating the ladder main body at an angle of 90 degrees. The up-and-down lock mechanism is configured to restrict the ladder main body set in the retracted posture from moving in an up-and-down direction. The rotational center axis is disposed perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the ladder main body set in the boarding posture in a front view, and perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the ladder main body set in the retracted posture in a plan view.

Abstract: A four-bar linkage ladder is used to provide access to the cab of a mobile machine. The ladder is light enough for manual operation and may include a spring assembly, but avoids the need for the electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuators of prior art moveable ladders. The ladder swings from bumper height to an ergonomically desirable height for access and egress and allows passage over uneven terrain without ground contact.
