Abstract: A signal flag apparatus for mounting on a boat that is towing a water skier, with the apparatus being operable to raise a warning flag when the water skier falls. The signal flag apparatus is an automatic mechanism which holds the warning flag down when the skier applies a tension on the tow rope and will quickly raise the flag in the absence of skier applied tension.
