Abstract: A dart holder (10) comprising: first positioning means (1), holding means (3) for holding optionally at least the tip and/or part of the barrel of a dart in a settled position in the first positioning means (1) such that the barrel of said dart is accessible for being grabbed by a user's hand, a first landing area (4) arranged on the first positioning means (1) in respect to the holding means (3) such that said first landing area (4) provides a reference to at least part of the hand for grabbing the barrel at a target position, wherein the holding means (3) is formed by a shaft (30) extending from the first landing area (4) at least partially through the first positioning means (1) up to a shaft end (31) facing away from the first landing area (4), wherein the shaft (30) is provided with a limitation reference means (8) to define a limitation for the tip of the barrel when it is inserted in the shaft (30).

Abstract: A lighter holder for a cigarette or cigar package, comprising a substantially rectangular member foldable into the lighter holder, the rectangular member having a length and a width and five discrete panels defined in the length direction by foldable score lines in the width direction, the second and fourth panels being internally foldable and having apertures at corresponding locations in the width directions thereof.

Abstract: Self-erectable displays and methods of making such self-erectable displays are disclosed. An example self-erectable display includes a shroud including a first shroud panel opposite a second shroud panel and a support coupled within the shroud. In the example display, the support including a top edge, a bottom edge, and first and second side edges. The first and second edges extend through an aperture defined by the support. The example display also includes an elastic band coupled to the support to outwardly bias first shroud panel from the second shroud panel.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a greeting card which combines a pop-up element with audio and motor movement. The greeting card contains two different sized pop-up panels which are spaced apart and parallel to one another. Two die cut shapes serve as mobile objects which spin or rotate upon opening the greeting card. The size and placement of the pop-up panels and the mobile objects create a three-dimensional scene. A slide trigger initiates audio playback and motor movement of the mobile objects upon opening the greeting card.

Abstract: Improved match containers having removable coupon sheets are provided for. The match container comprises a plurality of matches packaged in the container and a coupon sheet. The coupon sheet provides a substrate on which the manufacturer coupon is imprinted. It is removable from the container by a consumer for redemption of the manufacturer coupon. The manufacturer coupon further includes machine readable code associated with the manufacturer coupon to facilitate the automated processing of the manufacturer coupon. Improved methods for distributing manufacturer coupons via the novel match containers also are provided for.

Abstract: A device for storing and dispensing items comprises a first item container having a main body and a tail extending from the main body, a first panel, a second panel connected to the first panel along a first fold line, and a third panel connected to the second panel along a second fold line. The second panel and the third panel defining a pocket with at least a portion of the tail being disposed in and connected to the pocket. The pocket is foldable along the first fold line to a closed position in which the main body, the third panel, the tail, and the second panel overlie the first panel, and the pocket is further foldable to an open position in which the third panel, the tail, and the second panel are angled away from the back panel.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for creating customized packing for an item to be packed. An image of the item is created and an outline of the image is traced. The packing material is then cut to conform to the outline. In accordance with further aspects of the invention, the image is converted to an outline form by a raster-to-vector conversion. In further aspects of the invention, multiple outlines are configured in a packing configuration. The configurations may be edited and stored. In other aspects, manufacturing of customized packing for tools and tool kit management may be performed by the method of the current invention.

Abstract: A method for designing a support is disclosed wherein the method minimizes wasteful production of multiple support prototypes. The method includes the steps of: obtaining a computer generated sample of an article of manufacture; designing a computer generated model of a support effective to receive the sample of the article; and obtaining approval of the model of the support.

Abstract: A package (5) for retail distribution of cigarettes forms a container to receive and dispense cigarettes. The container includes a cigarette lighter receptacle (15) disposed on an outer surface of a wall of the container (10). The cigarette lighter receptacle includes at least an outer wall (45) that is connected to the container by a pair of spaced side walls (50). These side walls are inwardly foldable so as to position the outer wall substantially flush with the container wall (35), when the receptacle is not being used, and outwardly deployable so as to form the cigarette lighter receptacle (15). Reverse foldable portions are separated from the remainder of the receptacle (15) by a slit to define a bottom stop (60) for the lighter (17). The receptacle is preferably supplied with the cigarette package, but also can be a separate item attachable to any convenient surface.

Abstract: The flat plastic toothpick comprises a thin sheet of plastic material having a somewhat tear-drop shape including a generally oval-shaped base section for gripping the toothpick and a generally curved or hook-shaped end section for being inserted into the interstice between two adjacent teeth. A kit is provided comprising two or more plastic sheets having a plurality of the toothpicks perforated therein.

Abstract: Cuboidal pack made of (thin) cardboard, in particular hinge-lid box, having a box part (11) and a lid (12), it being the case that a sleeve (28) is provided on a box side wall (18), in the region of the box part (11), and encloses a lighter (27) or the like. The sleeve (28) and the parts thereof--flaps (30, 31)--are parts of a blank (10) for the pack. Furthermore, a supporting flap (29), which is also formed from the blank (10), is provided in the plane of a base wall (19).

Abstract: A package for retail distribution of cigarettes has a container sized to receive and dispense cigarettes. The container includes a cigarette lighter receptacle disposed on an outer surface of a wall of the container. The cigarette lighter receptacle includes at least an outer wall that is connected to the container by a pair of spaced side walls wherein the pair of side walls are (i) inwardly foldable so as to position the outer wall substantially flush with the one container wall when the receptacle is not being used, and (ii) outwardly deployable so as to form the cigarette lighter receptacle. Reverse foldable portions remain folded inwardly somewhat, defining a bottom stop for the lighter.

Abstract: A personal hygiene apparatus in matchbook form including a folded matchbook-like structure, that includes a plurality of individually packaged dental floss members detachably secured to the matchbook-like structure and toothpick accessory formed from the flap portion of the matchbook-like structure and at least one abrasive strip detachably secured to the flap closure receiving end of the matchbook-like structure for manicuring a user's nails. The apparatus also includes, in addition to the dental and nail hygiene accessories, a breath freshening mint and matches as other personal accessories.

Abstract: A personal hygiene apparatus in matchbook form including a folded matchbook-like structure, that includes a plurality of individually packaged dental floss members detachably secured to the matchbook-like structure and toothpick accessory formed from the flap portion of the matchbook-like structure and at least one abrasive strip detachably secured to the flap closure receiving end of the matchbook-like structure for manicuring a user's nails. The apparatus also includes, in addition to the dental and nail hygiene accessories, a breath freshening mint and matches as other personal accessories.

Abstract: A combination match safe and knife which can safely be carried in a pocket in a closed position with the knife portion being reversible, that is, in one position, the knife blade and matches are enclosed inside the container, while in a second position the knife blade is positioned outside the container and the container becomes a handle. The device also has a striking surface for the matches and a flint which the knife can be sharply struck against to produce a spark.

Abstract: A match book type assembly including two side flaps movably interconnected to one another by a base portion wherein the outer surfaces of both side flaps are dimensioned and structured to respectively include a decorative photograph and advertising or like indicia thereon and further wherein the base portion is disposed and configured to maintain the assembly in an upright orientation for viewing of the photograph and advertising most efficiently when the assembly is in a closed, protective position relative to a plurality of items such as matches or sticks of chewing gum fastened to the housing and disposed within it.

Abstract: A medication recordkeeping device comprised of a label or sheet with a plurality of characters identifying at least one subject upon which a friably removable mask covering obscures each of the characters. The label or sheet is adapted to be fixedly applied to a medication containing vessel wherein each time an individual unit of medication is consumed, the friable removable mask is removed from a character in order that the underlying subject will be exposed so that a visual recored will be kept of the medication consumed. The characters may be dates, numerals or dosage amounts corresponding to a patient's needs or the particular requirements of a medication.

Abstract: A package comprising an inner box and an outer box and provided with a hanger device for placing the package as an integral unit onto a horizontal support.The hanger device is formed by an extending end of a plate-shaped element arranged for insertion between the inner box and the outer box. The plate-shaped element is dimensioned for covering the major part of the broad side of the package.There are fixation means formed by said plate-shaped element for removably mounting said boxes to said plate-shaped element.

Abstract: Relates to individual, inexpensive, disposable holders particularly adapted for use in smoking short stubs of paper-wrapped cigarettes of the unfiltered type (without a cardboard mouthpiece) and containing shredded, dried leaves of herbs and plants. Also relates to small, pocket-size dispensers in which a plurality of such holders are carried for individual removal as needed. Matches and rolling papers may also be carried in such dispensers.
