Abstract: A storage compartment assembly for a motor vehicle includes a plurality of compartment bins, each having a first wall connected at an angle to a second wall connected at an angle to a third wall connected at an angle to a fourth wall also connected at an angle to the first wall, the first, second, third, and fourth walls connected at an angle to a base portion, the first, second, third, fourth walls, and the base portion partially enclosing a volume, a plurality of foot portions extending from the base portion at intersections of the first, second, third, and fourth walls, a plurality of support members extending from the intersections of the first, second, third, and fourth walls and displaced vertically directly above the foot portions, each of the plurality of compartment bins stackable atop each of the others of the plurality of compartment bins in a plurality of permutations.

Abstract: A box for packaging core samples from rock drilling is provided, used in particular in the field of mineral sampling from geological exploration activities for subsequent analysis. The box is defined by a structure formed by a single body produced by injection molding of a thermoplastic material which includes female fittings and male fittings for laterally interlocking the boxes, closing and locking devices for the cover on the box, anatomical transport handles, openings and channels for draining liquid fractions and texturing for identifying the collected samples.

Abstract: Various modular container systems and methods are disclosed. The system can include one or more container modules configured to be pivotably or hingedly connected together. Food items can be placed in individual container modules separately and the container modules can be coupled together to form a portable interlocking unit and the container modules can be pivotably coupled with adjacent container modules.

Abstract: An underground ventilated system for storing nuclear waste materials. The system includes a storage module having an outer shell defining an internal cavity and an inner shell. A majority of the height of the outer shell may be disposed below grade. The outer shell may include a hermetically sealed bottom. First and second canisters are positioned in lower and upper portions within the cavity respectively in vertically stacked relationship. A centering and spacing ring assembly is interspersed between the first and second canisters to transfer the weight of the upper second canister to the lower first canister. The assembly may include centering lugs which laterally restrain the first and second canisters in case of a seismic event. A natural convection driven ventilated air system cools the canisters to remove residual decay heat to the atmosphere. In one non-limiting embodiment, the shells are made of steel.

Abstract: A container system has a plurality of separable interlocking vessels. Each of the vessels defines a separately sealed volume. Each of the vessels has an outlet. One of the plurality of the vessels is an upper vessel and one of the plurality of vessels is a lower vessel. The outlet of the upper vessel is the lowermost portion of the upper vessel and is disposed to one side of the upper vessel. The outlet of the lower vessel is the uppermost portion of the lower vessel and is disposed to one side of the lower vessel.

The upper box structure includes side walls to receive at least one component sled and registration features. A lower box structure includes side walls to receive at least one component sled. The lower box structure includes a registration feature to engage the registration feature of the first chassis structure. The lower box structure includes a power connector to obtain power from the power supply. The lower box structure may be replaced with large capacity structures when additional component sleds need to be added since the power supply resides in the upper box structure.

A large capacity filter 28 secures inside the vessel 12 accepting brew mixtures for gravity fed brewing method.

Abstract: A stackable lid for a container includes a main body having an interior portion circumscribed by a lip. The interior portion has a plurality of raised surface features, a plurality of channels, and a plurality of connecting bridges formed therein. A plurality of bosses extend from the interior portion of the main body. Each of the bosses includes a plurality of sidewalls. At least one support feature depends from an interior surface of at least one of the bosses.

Abstract: A mounting system to couple containers together includes a pair of container bodies coupled together, each container body having a bottom end connected to a top open end with a cap disposed thereon, a pair of recesses disposed in the bottom ends of the first and second container bodies, the recess of the first container body being sufficiently large to receive the cap of the second container body, the recess formed by an inner face coupled to a side wall, the side wall of the recess having a plurality of friction beam assemblies coupled thereto, each friction beam assembly in the plurality of friction beam assemblies separated from an adjacent friction beam assembly by space along the side wall of the recess. Insertion of the cap of the second container body into the recess of the first container body creates a frictional grip and a vacuum seal.

The storage unit includes a plurality of asset modules. The volume of each asset module is variable. The atmosphere of each asset module may be controlled by a control system. Control of the atmosphere of each asset module includes control of parameters including the type of gas each atmosphere is composed of and the temperature, the pressure and relative humidity of each atmosphere. These parameters may be monitored and controlled from a remote location.

Abstract: A holder for receiving, storing and carrying photographic items such as cameras, printers, film packs or photographic prints. The holder has a front/distal case that is removably connected to a back/proximal case so that the two cases can be used together or separately. A multi-clip having a pair of open sections and a base member removably attaches the front case to the back case. A pair of side members guide the multi-clip into place to be received in a clip receiver. The cases are configured be used with various carrying devices that allow the user to carry the holder or one of the cases thereof. In one embodiment, the front case has a back section with a divider that defines separate areas for a film pack and prints and a front section that pivots to open or close the front case and allow access to the items.

Abstract: Packaging for heatable food portions comprises an ovenable tray including a plurality of serving containers connected by a detachable support matrix. In one embodiment, the support matrix is attached to the serving containers by hot melt glue which melts during baking or heating to automatically release the support matrix from the serving containers. Pre-filled trays are shipped with display covers fitted to the serving containers, such that the covers may be placed on the individual serving containers after the food portions are baked and the serving containers are separated from the support matrix to provide individually packaged, freshly baked food portions for display.

The side surfaces include a lip adapted for secure engagement for an upper object, which can include a top cover having a complementary groove, or the lower groove of an adjacent refreezable container, allowing multiple containers, with or without top covers, to be nested for storage or transport, and allowing multiple covered containers, or top covers independent of containers, to be stacked and nested.
