Abstract: A jewelry box includes a lower box component; a diamond supported on the lower box component and having a blue fluorescence; an upper box component hinged to the lower box component for swinging between an opened position and a closed position, the upper box component being coupled to the lower box component at the closed position for covering the diamond, the upper box component exposing the diamond at the opened position; and a light source supported on the lower part or the upper part, the light source emitting an ultraviolet radiation toward the diamond when the upper box component is moved from the closed position. This provides a jewelry box causing a most dramatic impression within an observer of the jewelry box.

Abstract: The invention generally involves a button display system and button display apparatus for storing, organizing, and facilitating a display of at least one button. The button display system comprises a storage container and an apparatus that is exemplarily, although not necessarily modular. The modular device may be a modular rack assembly removably coupled to an interior of the storage container. The modular rack assembly may include a plurality of modular rack trays, each of the plurality of modular rack trays including a plurality of slits configured to receive a portion of a button positioned in a slanted orientation. The button display system enables systematic organization of at least one, but usually several buttons, effectively storing, preserving, and facilitating their display.

Abstract: A showcase is provided for displaying items, at least one of which is an ultraviolet-reactive item. The showcase has a showcase structure for containing the items to be displayed, which includes at least one glazed surface through which the items can be seen. Showcase lighting is provided wired with the showcase structure. The showcase lighting includes: at least one compact ultraviolet LED assembly; a white light assembly; and a controller for controlling the ultraviolet LED assembly and white light assembly with modulation such that the ultraviolet radiation stimulates visible fluorescence in the ultraviolet-reactive item while items in the showcase structure are broadly illuminated by the white light. A method for displaying items in a showcase, and a kit for retrofitting existing showcases is also provided.

Abstract: A storage device for headwear that includes an elongated container with side surfaces, top and bottom surfaces and a back surface that also features a drawer that can be slid in and out of the container through an opening at one end of the container. The opening is covered by a door featuring a magnet whose polarity is opposite that of another magnet embedded in the bottom surface of the container. The devices can be stacked one on top of another and magnets in the door of one device and the bottom surface of another device hold the door of one of the devices open. The container features one or more stops that contact the walls of the drawer to prevent it from being pulled out of the container. A horizontal flange limits the vertical movement of the drawer and cooperates with the stops to hold the drawer in place.

Abstract: A jewelry box with a depressable trigger button is used to detect when the box is open or closed. A hidden record button within the jewelry box allows one to record a message. When the box is opened, the recorded message is played back. An insert in the jewelry box, such as one which is compressible and resilient, is placed over the record button, as is, in some embodiments, a top side of a bottom of the box. Thus, the box looks like a typical jewelry box but on the insert, an indication of a place to press the record button can be placed. In this manner, one can record a message and surprise a loved one who opens the box expecting to find jewelry or the like within the box but also finds a personal message played back.

The sleeve defines a receiving hole, and a sidewall of the sleeve defines a fixing groove in communication with the receiving hole. The support includes an accommodating plate, and the accommodating plate includes two opposing clamping blocks for clamping the screw driver, and a protrusion corresponding to the fixing groove. The accommodating plate has a mounting surface, and the support defines a plurality of through holes in the mounting surface for receiving the screws. The protrusion is releasably-engagable with the fixing groove, thereby enabling the accommodating plate to be received in the receiving hole of the sleeve, and further enabling the accommodating plate to be disengaged from the sleeve.

Abstract: The case of the present invention allows a user to store, transport and use as many as 15 guitar effects pedals, depending on size, and optional, associated accessory components such as a pedal switch controller, a power supply and a power strip, in a small footprint and enables the user to quickly and efficiently set up and play guitar with effects pedals on a plug-and-play basis. The case has a base with a shelf that can accommodate up to six effects pedals. The base also may receive and house a removable or slide-out drawer that can accommodate up to nine pedals. The drawer may have an optional, removable, upper shelf that can accommodate up to five pedals. The drawer may have an optional, articulating shelf that can accommodate mounted thereon a pedal switch controller for the pedals and at least one pedal.

The connecting elements may be one of snaps, magnets, hook-and-look closures, and ties. Multiple modules, each for holding a particular type of jewelry or accessory, are provided with at least a pair of connecting elements that removably engage with the connecting elements attached to the base material to impart flexibility to the system configuration. The modules may include a necklace module, a bracelet module, a charm or pendant module, a ring module, a clip-on earring module, a stud earring module, a pierced earring module, a cufflink module, a decorative pin or medal module, a watch module, and a pocket module. A method of folding the system for transport is also disclosed.

Each pocket has an aperture in the bottom with a tether extending through the aperture for attachment to a ring with the other end being attached to a retractor secured to the display. The tether permits a person to examine the ring but not to remove it from the display. The retractor is preferably a spring loaded reel. Each pocket has a ramp on each side placed diagonally across for each other with a ramp stop for turning the ring into alignment with the pocket as the retractor pulls the ring into the pocket.

The enclosure has an opening in the front for viewing the interior which is a cavity for the reception of a puncturable, resilient and removable insert with a central portion made of a material for the piercing through of the post(s) portion of a decorative pin and defining a mounting surface for a decorative pin. The removable insert is placed in the enclosure producing a background for the decorative pin. Once inside the enclosure, the resilient insert assumes a shape conforming to a portion of the interior of the enclosure.

Abstract: A portable workstation for beadcrafting operations is provided. The workstation includes a base including at least one receptacle for holding parts such as beads, preferably in a desired pattern. A cover interfittable with the base includes a seal portion that engages and surrounds the receptacle so as to maintain the parts in their desired position, despite movement of the workstation.

When the lid is in the first position, the lid covers the open top of the housing and the first hinge and the third hinge form a virtual hinge. When the lid is in the second position, the lid forms an A-Frame over the open top such that the second panel forms a display platform. The third panel maintains the lid in the second position.

Abstract: Described is an interchangeable earring kit, an interchangeable necklace kit, a combination interchangeable earring and necklace kit and a system of add-on decorative elements for all of the kits. These kits can be used to create a jewelry wardrobe from interchangeable parts. The kits exist as single or combination systems for do-it-yourself jewelry design wear. The kits are contained in compartmentalized boxes to allow for separation of the components.

Abstract: Packaging is provided that supports rings for display, allows rings to be sampled on a finger of a customer and which are secured to the ring to deter theft. The packaging has a top plate with an opening therein. The opening allows a portion of the ring to pass therethrough. A security stay passes through the ring and is coupled to the top plate with the security stay spanning the opening. A bottom plate is preferably also provided with a complemental form to that of the top plate. The security stay is trapped between the bottom plate and top plate to hold the security stay in place. Saddles are also preferably provided for lateral support of the ring and to allow the packaging to display the ring in an upright fashion while the packaging is resting upon a surface.

The container cover includes an outer see-through casing and an inner decorative casing which is detachably mounted to the see-through casing in a hidden manner to form a double-wall structure of the container cover for not only providing a rigid structure to protect the display item, but also enhancing aesthetic appearance of the display box. The outer see-through casing, with a predetermined thickness, can be made of either transparent or translucent material to create a three-dimensional visual illustration with respect to the inner decorative casing on which an artistic printing can be seen through the outer see-through casing to create an embedding effect of the artistic printing through the outer see-through casing when the display box is closed.

Abstract: The present invention consists of a jewelry storage and concealment device having rigid frame which is substantially thin and planar and which is suitable for attachment to a standard hanger, over which any ordinary article of clothing may be placed, for concealing the device between clothes in a closet. Or, it may be provided with a mirrored door on its front or a decorative picture and picture frame so that it may be hung on a wall and the device may be obscured from the view of thieves or unauthorized users. The present invention contains a plurality of square or rectangular compartments which are provided with hooks, posts or curtain walls so that the device can easily hold earrings, either pierced or clip on style, bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc. In such a manner, a highly secure jewelry organizing and storage system is shown.

The latching mechanism includes cooperating elements that permit opening one lid only when that lid is above the base and prevent opening a lid when another lid is open. A locking system secures the lids in closed position.

The case includes a generally rectangular main body having a plurality of flat, rectangular panels attached to the peripheral side edges thereof. Also provided is a first winged projection that extends downwardly from the base into the recess toward the tab. The clip is resiliently attached to the edge of the recesses such that an article of jewelry, such as a ring, may be inserted into the gap. After placement into the gap, the upper portion of the ring rests on the clip while the lower portion of the ring extends partially into the recess on the unitary surface. Since the lower portion of the ring is hidden from view below the unitary surface, indicia tags attached to the ring may be attached to the portion of the ring which extends through the recess, thereby keeping the indicia tag out of sight of consumers viewing the rings in the display tray.

A hinge means is oriented along an horizontal axis for pivotably connecting the first and second lid sections for opening and closing the case body. An interior frame border is insertable within the interior cavity of the first lid section so that when the hinge means is oriented along a vertical axis, the interior frame border secures a picture within the first lid section.

Abstract: In general, the present invention provides a viewing and inspection box having a base, a top wall, opposing side walls, and a rear wall defining an interior that is viewed through an open front of the box. An inspection light is held in proximity to the top wall and illuminates the interior of the box. An inspection apparatus, such as a magnifying glass, extends from one of the walls to extend beneath the inspection light. A display panel is maintained between the base and the rear wall at an angle relative to the base, and is further maintained below the inspection apparatus such that the inspection apparatus is positioned between the inspection light and the display panel.

The cover has a tapered top wall so that, when inverted, it will support the display unit at an angle to one viewing it. A modified form of the invention includes a slot in the wall of the display unit for receipt of a transport, storage and display package which carries the indicia bearing material. The package has a pocket for receipt of the article for transport and storage when the article is not being displayed.
