Abstract: A stack of laminar material for forming packages, the stack including full panels having a predetermined total length and formed with transverse creases along which the full panels are folded in accordion-like pleats. The stack includes at least one longitudinal cut on each full panel to form at least two transversely adjacent stacks of partial panels having respective partial widths, which are less than the total width. The at least one cut is incomplete, so that each partial panel of a respective stack and the partial panel of the stack adjacent thereto will have at least one connecting section therebetween, having a predetermined minimum length, for holding the partial panels of the adjacent stacks together, to thereby keep the adjacent stacks substantially aligned while facilitating the separation of each of the partial panels as they are unwound by a pulling action from each adjacent stack.

The same or a different liquid component may be applied by a user at a tube-to-dressing interface of an elastomeric drape to create a similar air-tight seal around the tube, if not occlusively sealed during its manufacture. Featured are unbacked tapes, a drape with liquid sealant component, a liquid layered drape with liquid sealant component, and a liquid layered drape.

Abstract: An air-permeable adhesive sheet has air permeability in a thickness direction thereof and including an adhesive agent layer having first through holes extending in the thickness direction, wherein at least one surface of the adhesive agent layer forms an adhesive surface, the through holes have an average opening diameter of 1.0 to 50 ?m and an average interval of 5 to 400 ?m, and a variation in air permeability in the thickness direction is 22% or less as represented by a coefficient of variation of an air permeability measured according to Method B for air permeability measurement (Gurley method) specified in JIS L 1096: 2010, with an effective measurement area as a predetermined value selected from 0.5 to 2.0 mm2. The air-permeable adhesive sheet is a sheet capable of obtaining good characteristics such as air permeability even when being made into a sheet having a small area.

Abstract: The invention relates to an adhesive system comprising a fabricated structure having alternating regions that are unpatterned and patterned along its longitudinal length. Patterned regions have at least one subregion with a non-linear cut relative to the transverse direction across the width of the structure. The geometry, location of the subregion(s), number of nonlinear cuts, and other parameters allow tuning as well as pinpoint programming of the adhesive properties either along the entire width and length or the strip or just at pinpointed subregions of the strip. Such tuning can include not only adhesive strength, but its adhesive strength in certain peeling directions.

The cleaning-disinfecting system may automatically reprocess medical devices placed within the cleaning-disinfecting system. The cleaning-disinfecting system may store medical devices after reprocessing without exposing the medical devices to potential contamination from the environment.

Abstract: An improved sealant packaging and method for use with sealing joints and cracks in pavement and parking lots is provided. Liquid sealant material is poured by volume into a container draped with a sheet. Container is cooled so that the sealant becomes a solid block, with the sheet adhered to the sides of the sealant block such that the sheet forms a container for the sealant. The sheet also acts a release liner for easily removing the sealant block from the container. Two or more contained blocks are stacked together, forming a package of two or more blocks self-sealed by sheets. When the package is placed in a melting kettle, heat migrates through the spaces between the individual sealant blocks and allows the smaller sealant blocks to melt quickly and evenly. Sheet and film melt with sealant material and are incorporated therein to form the final sealant product.

Abstract: A packaging method and packaging material are disclosed. In accordance with one aspect, a method for forming, filling, sealing and flash freezing a liquid extract or concentrate in a continuous ribbon format is described. The packaging material uses a continuous ribbon of a cold-formed foil base with multiple pockets arrayed in a pattern and a heat-sealed foil cover. Following sealing, the continuously formed strip of product is passed through a freezing medium, optionally perforated alongside the pockets to facilitate separation of individual pockets from a sheet, and then cut to size for convenient and space efficient final packaging, storage and transportation.

Abstract: A unit-dose packaging for a product comprising a chain of blister packs, the chain of blister packs being arranged in an alternating manner and having foldable regions between each blister pack in the chain of blister packs, characterised in that after use of the product, a chain of emptied blister packs forms a concertina fold, wherein all the blisters are of the same shape in the chain of blister packs such that the repeating units of the chain of blister packs are linked in such a way that their cavities fit into each other when stacking in an alternating way.

Abstract: Systems and methods to encode sounds in association with containers, as well as systems and methods to recognize encoded sounds associated with containers, are described. The containers may include various structures to encode sounds. Responsive to opening of containers, the various structures may emit the encoded sounds. An audio capture device may receive the encoded sounds, and a computing device may process the encoded sounds to identify audio signatures within the encoded sounds. The audio signatures may be matched with known audio signatures to identify the containers and/or information associated with the containers.

Abstract: A fastener system includes a fastener or nail for mounting objects on a surface and a corresponding plug for filling a hole left when the nail is removed from the surface. The nail and plug are formed of an engineering plastic, and may be formed from recycled materials. In embodiments, the nail and plug are joined by an arm which is easily broken away. In embodiments, the fastener and plug each have a plurality of flanges which provide strength and grip the surface.

Abstract: Described are systems, methods, and apparatus for injecting dunnage into a container after an item has been placed in the container and the container has been sealed or otherwise closed. A dunnage injection apparatus is configured to penetrate a surface of the sealed container and expel gas and dunnage into an interior space of the container. The gas fills the expelled dunnage forming gas-filled pouches of dunnage that fill voids within the interior space of the container and secure and protect the item within the container.

Abstract: A pad of dispensable adhesive tape segments is shown and described. The pad includes a protective envelope and a number of tape segments. The tape segments are arrayed such that detachable pull tabs for each are exposed for grasp. The envelope may include a strip folded over onto itself and adhered in place. The envelope is pulled open and may be adhered to an environmental surface. Tape segments have adhesive of weaker adherence than the adhesive of the envelope so that when pulled by a pull tab, each tape segment preferentially releases from the next, but the envelope maintains adherence to the environmental surface. Adhesive lined tabs initially holding the envelope closed may also be used for adherence to the environmental surface. Preferably used for medical tape, the envelope is waterproof to maintain sterility of tape segments.

Abstract: A method of fabricating coffee pods at a point of sale location using a coffee pod dispensing device with shell less, expandable coffee pods. The fabrication is initiated by tactile input from a control panel that determines the parameters of the coffee pods to be fabricated and generates the operational signals for the dispensing device. Fabrication there after progresses sequentially through a series of operations that involves the loading of the coffee pods onto a pod advancing means which then takes the coffee pods through the steps of expansion, filling, sealing and delivery. To accomplish this the pods are compressible pods arranged in a linear array that allows for pleated or stacked storage in a pod loading means within the device's enclosure, as well as continuous feed capabilities.

Abstract: The disclosure concerns a camera mouth mount including a mouth piece coupled to a camera mount and configured for holding the camera mount with the mouth of a user. The mouth piece includes a pair of opposing bite supports extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the bite supports being connected at a junction disposed at the distal end. The camera mount is coupled to the junction of the bite supports. Various embodiments are described wherein a mouth piece is coupled to a camera mount. The camera mouth piece is used to hold a camera in ones mouth for the purpose of obtaining media while performing an activity such as surfing or another action sport.

Abstract: Wearable packages for consumable products and methods for using same are provided. In a general embodiment, the wearable packages include a first compartment for housing a product and a second compartment for housing a bi-stable band.
