  • Patent number: 10513843
Abstract: A drainage channel is adapted to receive fluid from a floor and drain it to a waste outlet. The channel has a floor portion and sides which fluidly enclose and define the channel. One of the sides has a substantially planar flange extending outwardly, and a second one of the sides has a substantially planar flange extending outwardly or upwardly. A waste aperture in the floor portion allows draining of the fluid from the channel to the waste outlet. A grate is supported from the floor portion and is adjustable in height. The channel can be located within an aperture in a building floor and the outwardly extending flanges can be secured to an upper surface of the floor, with the upwardly extending flanges securable to an upward surface of a channel surrounding wall, such that a drainage channel can be located in the building floor for removal of fluid.

  • Patent number: 10458110
Abstract: A drive-over tile intake guard has a drain tile inlet coupler that rests against the earth surface and does not rise consequentially above the earth. The inlet coupler encompasses and protects the end of a drain tile pipe. A plurality of rods are affixed on a first end to the inlet coupler, and each extend therefrom simultaneously downward into the drain tile and also generally radially toward the center of the tile opening. However, the rods are also each angularly offset from radial to the tile opening center. By angularly offsetting the rods each in the same rotational direction, smaller debris that might block flow through other prior art guards but which will not block the drain tile from functioning will swirl, slip off of the rods and pass into the drain tile, and ultimately be discharged at the outlet end of the drain tile.

  • Patent number: 10428500
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-disinfecting drain trap in wastewater drains, having an automatic cleaning through an electromagnetic oscillator and an automatic disinfection through heat, UV-C radiation, antibacterial coating, or ultrasound. The inner wall of the drain trap may be coated with a titanium dioxide nano-coating, on which a catalytic oxidizing reduction of organic substances that can be oxidized takes place, and microorganisms are killed. The titanium dioxide nano-coating may be activated through irradiation with at least one light source located inside or outside the drain trap. When the cleaning and disinfection functions are inactive, a retrograde microbial contamination of the barrier fluid is prevented, both on the part of the wastewater drain as well as through the ambient air, through the oxidizing disinfecting effect of the titanium dioxide nano-coating.
