Abstract: A cable tray assembly includes first and second cable tray sections each including a base and rails extending transversely from longitudinal sides of the base. At least one of the base and the rails defines a plurality of holes. A splice plate is configured to engage the first and second cable tray sections for attaching the first cable tray section to the second cable tray section. The splice plate defines a plurality of holes. At least one snap-fit connector includes a head and a plurality of resiliently deflectable arms extending from the head. The arms of the connector are configured to extend through aligned holes in the splice plate and one of the cable tray sections to secure the splice plate to said one of the cable tray sections.

Abstract: A task light that includes a plurality of light emitting diodes (LED's) adapted for providing a variable intensity of emitted light; a light directing member for directing light from the LED's onto a work surface; a control logic, electrically connected to a light intensity selector, an ambient light sensor, and the plurality of LED's and wherein the control logic compares the intensity of ambient light in the area surrounding the work surface with the desired intensity of light to be provided at the work surface and adjusts the supply of electrical power to the LED's so that the total of the variable intensity of emitted light and the intensity of ambient light in the area surrounding the work surface is approximately equal to the desired intensity of light to be provided at the work surface.

Abstract: It is the first surgical instrument holder designed specifically to maximize the efficiency of instrument exchange during surgery. It sits on top of the patient laying on the operating room table and fits the curvature of the average human torso while it places the chambers that hold the surgical instruments at the most natural angle for the hand of the standing surgeon. The size of the chambers is designed so it fits most laparoscopic surgical instruments in use today. It has two openings, an entrance opening and an exit opening. The entrance opening faces the surgeon and designed to enable the surgeon to insert the instrument without having to look at the holder. That enables the surgeon eyes to remain completely focused on the surgical field. That may increase the efficiency of instrument exchange. Which increases the efficiency of the operation. It also prevents the instruments from falling on the floor and the potential to break.

Abstract: Improved design of cable tray redirector components speeds assembly and connection of cable trays. More efficiently manufactured, universal components needed throughout horizontal redirectors of a specific size and type cable tray run reduce the overall total items and cost of inventory. The improvement is in part the elimination of welding cable redirector components in favor of connecting the components with bolts and nuts in the field. The inventory and shipment of individual parts is substantially more efficient because the new components “nest” efficiently prior to assembly. Moreover, components are designed to minimize the number of bolts and nuts used without jeopardizing strength. The use of bolts and nuts to fasten the components also enables good electrical conductivity for effective electrical grounding of the assembled cable tray system.

Abstract: A bag holding system facilitates filling a plastic bag while the plastic bag is supported on a support surface, and further provides for facilitating washing of the plastic bag in a dishwasher. A base has a bottom member and two side members that extend upwardly from the base at two opposing sides thereof. A V-shaped support frame has a bottom frame and two side frames extending upwardly from the bottom frame at two opposing sides thereof. The support frame is adapted to be inserted into the baes between the two side members of the base, the base holding the support frame in a substantially upright position. A funnel has bottom panel with a fill aperture therethrough and two side panels projecting upwardly therefrom at two opposing sides of the bottom panel. Each side panel further includes an outwardly-extending flange at a top side thereof.

Abstract: A removal and re-application board for hair extensions and process of using same. The board contains at least 3 serially spaced apart lines (linear or curvilinear), vertically or radially spaced apart. Hair extension bands are mounted on, above or below the lines. Board indicia conveys sequential band removal and board placement, and then band board-dismount and re-application sequential order data to re-apply the hair bands on a user's head. When the bands are on-board, the bands from a columnar matrix; therefore the serially spaced apart lines provide board-mounting and board dismounting data to the stylist (board-mounting is hair band removal; board dismounting is band re-application). The indicia and the serially spaced apart lines allow for hair bands to be easily stored (board-mounted) and organized, such that the hair bands can be reliably re-applied to substantially the same location on a user's head.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an apparatus for mounting optical components in a manner that self-aligns the optical axes of the optical components. The apparatus uses an optical component mount that includes a housing consisting of a single rail mount configured to mechanically couple to a portion of a rail for supporting the optical component mount on a rail. The housing also has an optical component dock configured to support an optical component in a manner that defines an optical axis. The rail mount and the optical component dock are configured to make the optical axis substantially parallel with a longitudinal axis of the rail. Using such optical component mounts secured to the rail would result in the self-alignment of the optical axes of optical components on the optical component mounts. Various embodiments of such apparatus are also provided in the disclosure.

Abstract: A caulking tube assembly is provided having a cap and an auger component, and the auger component has an auger engagement head portion and a helical or spiral portion that is compressible and sized to be fitted in a tube for holding caulk. The auger engagement head has a shaft housing sized to receive a mixing shaft therein. A coloring agent is added to the caulk in the tube and the auger component mixes the caulk and coloring agent to produce a tube of colored caulk. The caulk is thus colored to satisfy the requirements of virtually any application and dispensed from a caulking gun. In another preferred embodiment there is a caulking tube assembly with having a closed cap and a mixing component having a shaft engagement portion and a shaftless auger portion. The caulking tube assembly can also be used to mix epoxy.

Abstract: A parking system includes parking trays, each of which includes a parking platform for supporting a vehicle thereon and legs depending down from the parking platform. Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) can move between the legs of a tray and then lift the tray with the vehicle thereon for moving the vehicle to or from parking spaces in a parking facility. Each parking space has a vehicle lift device suspended from the ceiling. Each vehicle lift device includes a tray support for supporting the tray and the vehicle thereon. The AGV can move the tray and the vehicle into a position at the parking space so that the tray and the vehicle can be lifted by the vehicle lift device. Thus, another vehicle can be moved into position below the lifted tray and vehicle.

Abstract: One disclosed aspect of the embodiments is an apparatus to hold a mobile device in a vehicle. A sleeve is stretchable to fit longitudinally along a sun visor of a vehicle and having front and back surfaces. The front surface has a vent structure. A first strap is transversely attached on the front surface at a first side of the vent structure to hold a first end of a first device. A second strap is transversely attached on the front surface at a second side of the vent structure to adjustably hold a second end of the first device. The second side is opposite to the first side across the vent structure.

Abstract: A space frame having a high torsional strength comprising a first square bipyramid and two planar structures extending outward from an apex of the first square bipyramid to form a “V” shape is disclosed. Some embodiments comprise a plurality of edge-sharing square bipyramids configured linearly, where the two planar structures contact apexes of all the square bipyramids. A plurality of bridging struts, apex struts, corner struts and optional internal bracing struts increase the strength and rigidity of the space frame. In an embodiment, the space frame supports a solar reflector, such as a parabolic solar reflector. Methods of fabricating and using the space frames are also disclosed.

Abstract: A multi-piece ceremonial sculpture that when assembled creates a symbol for unity during a wedding, anniversary, or union ceremony. The method of assembling the sculpture is to insert a first bent-shaped heart piece onto a base and then insert a second bent heart-shaped piece onto the base each by means of pegs and peg holes. The first bent heart-shaped piece and the second bent heart-shaped piece may be fastened together through a hinge connection. Finally, a pin may be inserted through the hinge connection of the first bent heart-shaped piece and the second bent heart-shaped piece to secure the two pieces together. The completed assembly resembles one three-dimensional heart, yet maintaining the identities of each individual heart symbolizing two hearts coming together into a union.

Abstract: Three different families of mobile utility cart accessories may be quickly and easily attached to a mobile utility cart of the present invention using the inexpensive, but flexible modular accessory attachment system of the present invention. This is accomplished by releasably slidably attaching the accessories to vertical rails mounted adjacent corner edges of the utility cart. The rails share fundamentally the same cross-section, and are continuous and uninterrupted, so that the accessories may be positioned at any vertical location on the rails, and consequently, on the utility cart. No complicated rail clamps are necessary. Instead, just two types of fastener subassemblies are needed to attach the accessories to slots in the rails. These accessories may include, for example, a tool holster of the present invention capable of snugly retaining up to three power tools on the cart.

Abstract: A display device is provided which may be used to display surfboard fins and related product literature. In one example, a display device includes a plurality of tubes and machined parts which may be assembled and configured as further disclosed herein. Such a display device may be used, for example, to hold and secure surfboard fins to facilitate display of the fins and permit the handling of the fins by consumers. Advantageously, the display device may also be implemented to prevent the fins from being completely detached from the display device without the use of an appropriate security device. The display device may also be implemented to hold and secure information (e.g., product literature) associated with the fins.

The balloon is mounted on top of a circular balloon holder cup. The cup and the balloon are attached to an upper end of a flexible rod. A lower end of a flexible rod can be attached to a flexible or a rigid, hollow mounting pole. A lower end of the mounting pole can be attached to an upper end of a ground stake. A lower end of the ground stake is inserted into a ground surface. Also the lower end of the mounting pole can be mounted on top of a weighted base stand or other upright objects. The system is designed to display one balloon or a plurality of balloons in a balloon cluster.

Abstract: A material carousel for manufacturing and/or assembly operations is provided. The carousel includes a hub fabricated from a low friction material wherein the hub has a polygonal shape. The carousel also includes a plurality of equally spaced arms which are press fit into the hub. Each arm is adapted to hold cable and/or harness assemblies or includes a bin for holding materials used for production operations. In addition, the carousel includes a support column that extends through the hub, wherein the hub is adapted to rotate about the support column. An adjustable support column is also provided for supporting the hub on the support column. Further, the carousel includes a peg mechanism for stopping rotation of the hub after a predetermined rotation angle.

Each of the left side panel, the center panel and the right side panel include interior surfaces and the interior surfaces of the left side panel and the right side panel face each other. Located between and coupled to left side panel and right panel are a plurality of uniquely arranged display components.
