Fluid Actuated Patents (Class 212/203)
  • Patent number: 11914492
Abstract: An Information Handling System (IHS) includes multiple hardware devices, and a baseboard Management Controller (BMC) in communication with the plurality of hardware devices. The BMC includes executable instructions for identifying at least one non-registered hardware device from among the multiple hardware devices that is not registered for use within the IHS by the BMC. For this non-registered hardware device, the BMC generates power profile data. Using the power profile data of the non-registered hardware device, the BMC determines a level of electrical power to sufficiently supply the plurality of hardware devices of the IHS, and controls one or more power supply units to supply the determined level of electrical power to the plurality of hardware devices.

  • Patent number: 10196158
Abstract: A portable programmable machine enhances efficiency and ergonomics associated with conducting otherwise manual operations within confined spaces. A main body supports a programmable telescoping arm configured to extend through an access port to reach a confined space. The arm includes an articulating wrist for holding and manipulating tools for autonomously processing work parts. The machine can also act semi-autonomously to accommodate interventions of an operator for overriding and fine-tuning interaction of a tool with a work part for proper processing of the part. The arm communicates with a computer in the main body for processing numerical data, and the operator may use a reference camera to fine tune any particular process. The machine incorporates multiple processing functions, for example collar swaging, nut running, cleaning, and/or application of sealants, all through an aircraft wing access port. • Patent number: 5549442
Abstract: An article transfer apparatus for moving at least one article from a first position to a second position wherein a single drive independently drives one of two lift arms that are reciprocally movable between the first position and the second position independent of one another. The article transfer apparatus provides a base member that is movable on a guide rail for movement along a predetermined path. First and second lift arms are movably supported on the base member for reciprocal and independent movement between the first and second positions. The movement between the first and second positions of the lift arms define a first path of travel, and the base member moving along the guide rail defines a second path of travel wherein the first path of travel is substantially perpendicular to the second path of travel. The single drive cooperatively engages the first and second lift arm to independently drive the first and second lift arms between the first position and the second position.

  • Patent number: 4508233
Abstract: A Compact Heavy Duty Lifting Crane (CHDLC) for removing and installing heavy objects such as engines and transmission from vehicles. The CHDLC incorporates a feature that allows the vertical lifting angle of the telescoping boom (40) to remain constant as the telescoping pylon cylinder (18) is raised. This feature is particularly useful for removing engines located in limited-space engine compartments such as those encountered in vans and buses. The CHDLC consists of two major assemblies: a base assembly and a portable lifting crane. When the CHDLC is used as a standard utility crane in a repair shop the crane is mounted to the base assembly. When the CHDLC is required to be mounted on a truck bed the crane is removed from the base assembly and installed on a truck pylon plate (14a) that is permanently mounted to the bed of the truck. Additionally, the CHDLC may be placed in its storage configuration. In this configuration the CHDLC occupies a horizontal area of only four square feet.
