Cyclic Operation Patents (Class 212/286)
  • Patent number: 10870560
Abstract: Provided is a crane capable of allowing an operator to recognize an error in work information or in a number of windings set in a safety device. A main tension of a main wire rope is calculated from a main output torque of a main winch, a sub output torque of a sub winch, a main drum winding radius of the main winch, and a sub drum winding radius of the sub winch. An estimated hanging load, which is calculated from the main tension, a sub tension of a sub wire rope and the number of windings of the wire rope set in a safety device, is compared with an actual hanging load calculated from fluctuating thrust force and boom information. Thus, the suitability of a work kind or a winding number set in the safety device is determined.

Abstract: One or plurality of correction information corresponding to one or plurality of spin chucks are acquired in advance for adjustment of a position of a substrate by an aligner and are stored in a memory. Each correction information indicates a position to be adjusted by the aligner when the substrate is transported from the aligner to each spin chuck by a transport mechanism in order for a center of the transported substrate to coincide with a rotational center of the spin chuck. The position of the substrate is adjusted by the aligner based on the correction information, corresponding to the spin chuck, stored in the memory before the substrate is transported to any one of the spin chucks from the aligner during processing for the substrate.

  • Patent number: 9835182
Abstract: A drive system with multiple hydraulic cylinders applying torque to the drive shaft of a machine. Each cylinder is attached at one end to the frame of the machine by a clevis that pivots and the other end is rotationally connected to a shaft fixed to a crank arm, fixed to the drive shaft. Each cylinder either pushes or pulls-the crank arm shaft producing torque on the drive shaft in the form of a moment about centerline. As the drive shaft rotates, each cylinder alternately pushes and pulls on the crank arm shaft, depending on the rotational position of the crank arm with respect to the cylinders. The direction of force applied by each hydraulic cylinder is determined by an electro/hydraulic direction control valve, driven by a programmable logic controller, using a signal from a sensor to detect the rotational position of the drive shaft.

  • Patent number: 7523835
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining a present value of the capacity level of a hydraulic crane (1) provided with a lifting cylinder (8), the present value of the capacity level being determined by means of a processing unit (33). The initiation of each new lifting cycle of the crane is detected and a minimum value of each lifting cycle is registered, which represents the lowest hydraulic pressure on the piston side (8a) of the lifting cylinder during the lifting cycle or the lowest cylinder force of the lifting cylinder during the lifting cycle. For at least some of the lifting cycles, the processing unit (33) determines the present value of the capacity level of the crane taking into account a control value (Vc) corresponding to: the minimum value registered for the previous lifting cycle, or the lowest one of the minimum value registered for the previous lifting cycle and the minimum value registered for the present lifting cycle.

  • Patent number: 6039193
Abstract: A method is provided to automatically control a cranes's rider block lifte and taglines. Current position of the crane's rider block is determined in terms of its horizontal and vertical coordinates, as well as in terms of the inhaul angle of the liftline. A matrix is then generated that defines i) incremental change in the rider block's horizontal coordinate with respect to incremental change in each of the boom angle, a length of the liftline and a length of the taglines, ii) incremental change in the vertical coordinate with respect to incremental change in each of the boom angle and lengths of the liftline and taglines, and iii) incremental change in the sine of the inhaul angle with respect to incremental change in each of the boom angle and lengths of the liftline and taglines. A vector defining velocity criteria for the rider block is provided. The velocity criteria is defined in terms of horizontal motion of the rider block, vertical motion of the rider block and rate of change of the inhaul angle.
