Abstract: A pan system may have a closed configuration and an open configuration to selectively release a food product. The system comprise a base portion having a sidewall connected to a bottom with an opening, a removable portion configured to span the opening, and an attachment configured to releasably secure the removable portion relative to the base portion in the closed condition and selectively release the removable portion from the base portion in the open condition. The base portion and removable portion may be configured to contain the food product in the closed condition and separate to release the food product from the base portion in the open condition.

Abstract: A selectively frangible shipping carton for storing and shipping goods comprises at least one side wall joining a top wall and a bottom wall. A path of weakness extends around a periphery of the carton through at least a portion of the side wall. The path of weakness enables a user to manually separate the carton into at least two portions: an upper portion including the top wall and a lower portion including the bottom wall. A pair of lines of weakness extends upwardly relative to the path of weakness and terminates at or adjacent the top wall. A grip flap defined in the side wall between the pair of lines of weakness, the grip flap being graspable by the user when separating the carton into the at least two portions.
Abstract: A unitary basket having at least two bottom portions at different elevations that define deep and shallow basket portions. A plurality of upsplints form a wall of the deep portion and the bottom of the shallow portion, which extends transversely from the top of the wall. A weave strip positioned immediately below the basket bottom panel extends over the outer surface of the outermost upsplints in the wall panel. A short splint positioned adjacent to the wall panel extends over the outer surface of the outermost upsplints in the bottom panel. The consecutive oversplints urge the upsplints inwardly and upwardly to define a sharp angle between the wall and bottom panels. The method includes the steps of weaving the oversplints over the outermost upsplints in the wall and bottom panels.

Abstract: A coupling member between a valve driver and a valve has a pin extending into the valve driver shaft and a head with a groove receiving the shaft of the valve and a recess accommodating the packing nut thereof. A spring braced between the coupling member and the valve driver allows the coupling member to be lifted from the nut for tightening thereof.
Abstract: A mesh container holds plastic synthetic grass strips that are used to form a support cushion for candy and other items in an Easter basket. The mesh size is selected to be of the appropriate gauge to minimize the possibility of the grass strips from falling out of the mesh container. The flatness or thickness of the container can be varied.
