Abstract: Illustrative methods of manufacturing flexible drive shaft assemblies for preparing bone can include steps such as providing, receiving or manufacturing a mold. Injecting a first polymeric material into the mold to form a coupling member, the coupling member adapted for attachment to a torque-providing driving tool. Injecting a second polymeric material into the mold to form a work member, the work member adapted to interface with the bone to prepare the bone. The method can further include injecting a third polymeric material into the mold in an overmolding process to form a flexible shaft extending from the coupling member to the work member. The assemblies resulting from such methods can include a flexible shaft that is adapted to transmit a majority of a torque received from a torque-providing driving tool through the flexible shaft. In some examples, the flexible shaft can include a solid polymeric shaft.

Abstract: A handle assembly for sheet metal lids is provided, comprising a handle member having an upper plate and a grip, and a base member having a pair of brackets formed to engage a corner of the sheet metal lid, and wherein the brackets include an upwardly open groove and a mounting plate. The grooves engage an underside of the lid, wherein the upper plate of the handle member is removably attached to the mounting plates of the base member by a plurality of fasteners.

Abstract: A cover for exercise equipment has a cylindrical body which is made of a flexible, waterproof material, infused with antimicrobial, antiodor microban fibers. The body has a plurality of dot projections forming a uniform gripping pattern extending over the entire interior and exterior surfaces of the body. The body is open at one end for facilitating the positioning of the cover over an outwardly extending exercise handle. Another embodiment of the invention consists of a single flat rectangular sheet component which can be positioned around exercise handles and secured by hook and loop attachments or equivalent attachment devices.

Abstract: A food/drink container includes a receptacle, a lid removably secured to the receptacle and a handle movably coupled to the container such that the handle may move between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, at least a portion the handle is disposed below the receptacle and in the second configuration, at least a portion of the handle is rotatable with respect to receptacle.

Abstract: A detachable handle for a child's sippy cup. The sippy cup includes a cup portion and a lid portion coupled to the cup portion. The lid portion includes a drinking spout having apertures. The detachable handle includes a ring portion that engages the lid and/or the cup portion, and a pair of grasping portions that extend axially and radially away from the ring portion. Hook portions are radially aligned with, and extend axially opposite the grasping portions, and are engageable with an upper surface of the lid portion. Moving the grasping portions radially inwardly causes the hook portions to move radially outwardly for disengagement from the upper surface and removal of the handle from the sippy cup.

A rigid work surface is provided, typically immediately adjacent to the secondary closure member, the work surface providing a place for holding or mixing a drink or for preparing a snack. In some embodiments the work surface may be movable relative to the container, whether slidable in a co-planar or parallel planar manner in translation, or folding as in a foldable shelf. The entire container assembly may be foldable or collapsible to a storage condition, and the rigid member, whether fixed or movable, does not impede that folding or collapsing.

Abstract: Disclosed is a case for an electronic device that includes a retaining loop. The loop includes a first end, a second end, and a fastener. A recess on the interior of the case is adapted to house the fastener when the retaining loop is engaged therewith, while a pair of openings positioned over the recess allows the retaining loop to pass through. The loop is positioned so that a user can place a finger inside the loop, which in turn provides a secure grip on the case and electronic device. The fastener sits flush within the recess on the interior of the case, and can be used to detach the loop for replacement thereof as desired. The fastener and recess are positioned between the case and the phone, and includes a low profile design that prevents bulging in the case.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an installation part and a module, relating to the field of mechanical designs and capable of reducing the quantity of installation parts and increasing the efficiency of assembling and disassembling an article that needs to be installed. The installation part includes: a slot configured to be clamped with a hoop, where the hoop is configured to fix a pole part onto a pole together with the pole part; and a first screw hole configured to be connected to a conversion bracket, where the conversion bracket is configured to connect the pole part and an article that needs to be installed. The embodiments of the present invention are applied to the installation of modules.

The finish portion has an opening defined therein that is in communication with the interior space. The main body portion has a neck surface, a shoulder surface and a fillet that is defined between the neck surface and the shoulder surface. The neck surface forms a first angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the container that is substantially within a range of about 2° to about 20°, and the fillet has an average radius of curvature that is substantially within a range of about 15 mm to about 55 mm. The container is preferably fabricated using an extrusion blowmolding process.

The fluid router includes a base adapted for placement in the proximity to an opening of the container, and a conduit having a first and a second ends disposed on the base. The fluid router can further include a connector disposed on the base and adapted to engage a thermal energy storage member located in the chamber. The first conduit end is adapted to engage the drinking straw. The system can further include a second straw engaged with the second conduit end and positioned in the chamber.

Abstract: A jug for retaining a plastic bag containing a liquid and a method of using the same. The jug includes a bottom and a peripheral wall extending upwardly therefrom and defining a cavity for receiving the bag. The peripheral wall terminates in a rim and a handle extends outwardly from the peripheral wall's exterior surface. An engagement means is provided on the jug to engage the bag and retain it within the cavity when the jug is tilted to pour the liquid therefrom. The engagement means preferably is a slit defined in the rear region of the peripheral wall adjacent the handle. The slit originates in the rim and extends downwardly for a distance. A portion of a rear region of the bag is slid into the slit and wedged therein. The wedged portion extends into a compartment defined by a retaining wall that extends outwardly from the peripheral wall.

Abstract: The bottle holder is formed of a synthetic fiber rope, allowing various portions of the rope to be fused together by heat or solvent. The ends of the rope are melted and pressed together to form a relatively large endless loop. The facing portions of this loop are then partially melted and pressed together to form a single fused handgrip portion having loops extending from opposite ends thereof. One loop is preferably larger than the other, the larger loop being adapted to fit around the base of a beverage bottle and the smaller loop being adapted to fit about the bottleneck. The fused central or handgrip portion of this structure is then helically wound with a smaller diameter cord to form a handgrip, the ends of the cord being captured by the juncture of one of the rope loops and by a bight in the cord.

Abstract: A device to assist in sorting and organizing any small items and, in particular, vitamins, supplements and prescription medications consisting of a series of folding, hinged panels that fold out to form troughs and transverse dividers that fit into the troughs to form bins. Once the bins are filled, the dividers are sequentially removed to allow the bin contents to be shoved along the trough into a small, resealable plastic bag for convenient storage and transportation. This saves time for people taking several different kinds of pills every day. Each pill bottle is located, opened, closed and stored away only once versus hundreds of times without using this device.

The second wall-engaging component includes a second trunk having a bottom end connected to the second base, and a second pair of elongated barbs connected to a top end of the second trunk. The second barbs extend from the top end of the second trunk and towards the second base.

Abstract: A cookware system is provided having a container, particularly a cooking vessel, at least one downwardly directed receiver, and a non-coupling handle having a contact member at its end sized to the receiver, which combination provides increased safety and utility. By virtue of the downwardly directed receiver and the upwardly directed contact member, the handle of the cookware system contacts and drives the cooking vessel only during and for so long as the operator, the cook, provides upward force to the handle to temporarily engage the cooking vessel. Upon removal of the upward force from the operator, the handle disengages from the receiver, preventing the potential that a person, whether the operator, a child or another, could contact the handle and cause a spill or burn.

Abstract: A device is disclosed for carrying sets of documents of various sizes utilizing at least a document support tray supported on the forearm of a carrier by a forearm supporter secured by a single arm and hand of a carrier such that the documents may easily be delivered utilizing the free arm of the carrier to selectively pick from one of the stacks made available through the device. The device also includes a holder to secure an animal repellent container. The device also permits a novel method of delivering mail whereby the carrier may have free use of the hand and arm opposite to that engaged by the device.

A top connects to the surrounding wall member and includes a large opening sufficient to receive about a 5 inch cylinder therethrough. The surrounding wall member includes a pair of pinch pockets having a lateral opening separation W which is not greater than about 2.5 inches and/or a lateral minimum separation C of not greater than about 2.0. In some embodiment, a thumb receiving cavity is provided above the pinch pockets. The pinch pockets are configured and sized for easy grasping and holding of the container.

Abstract: The apparatus according to present invention comprises a combination of a drinking vessel and a geometrically shaped collar that is divided into at least two pieces such that the collar can encircle and snugly fit onto a stem or handle of a glass, cup or mug whereby when attached the collar is not movable relative to the stem or handle. When the at least two pieces of the collar are joined together to surround the stem of a glass, handle of a mug or the actual glass body itself, the geometrically shaped collar is restored to its original shape and form.

Abstract: A clam-shell container system can include first and second container pieces that are hingedly connected. The first container piece can include a perimeter and a hangable tab, the hangable tab having an opening configured to receive a rod. The hinge connection can be perforated, such that it breaks upon actuation of the hangable tab to open the container system. The second container piece can include a cutout in proximity to the hinge connection and the hangable tab. Accordingly, the cutout can provide clearance for the rotation of the hangable tab beyond the hinge connection. Further, the second container piece can have a perimeter having a shape substantially similar to the perimeter of the first container piece. The perimeters can form a substantial seal in combination.

Abstract: A double ended painting implement for painting structures. Various kinds of paint heads (such as paint brushes) may be present at each end of the double ended painting implement. A multiple compartment paint bucket assembly for holding paint used to paint structures. the multiple compartment paint bucket includes an outer shell and at least two inner sleeves, with each sleeve being able to hold a separate supply of paint. Using the painting implement and/or paint bucket assembly of the present invention, a structure painter can more quickly and/or effectively paint on a job that requires two different paint colors, or two different types of paint (for example, water based and latex based).
