Abstract: A collapsible box for disposal of articles such as sanitary wear, comprises a base, at least three walls upstanding therefrom and a top, the top having an aperture through which articles or items may be placed in the box and a flap at least partially occluding the aperture, the flap being urged upwardly and at least a part of which being engaged by a wing portion to inhibit upward motion thereof, the wing portion being moveable between a first condition for collapsing the box and a second condition at least partially overlying the aperture.

Abstract: A grease disposal and storage system for the efficient and safe disposal of hot grease and unhealthy fats from food items. The grease disposal and storage system generally includes a container including a cavity, wherein the cavity is defined within the container. A receptacle is positioned within the cavity of the container. A support is positioned within the cavity, wherein the support is positioned near an opening of the receptacle. A funnel is positioned within the cavity, wherein the funnel is stabilized by the support. The funnel is aligned with the opening of the receptacle so as to guide a disposable substance through the funnel and into the receptacle.

Abstract: A cover on an open-topped container of food and/or drink either attached to the open top of the container by a first adhesive means forming a receptacle that can be slipped over the container. The cover has second adhesive means thereon so that, when the cover has been entirely or partially removed from the container to open the cover, it will remain attached to, or be attachable to, the container by the second adhesive means and can hang down, as a receptacle, from one side of the container, for receiving waste material.

Abstract: A container comprising a main portion (1) with variable capacity and a cover (2) which may be coupled in dovetail manner, with a leak-tight sealing and with no possibility of disassembly, the cover embodying a filling window (16) which may be shut by a rotatory disk (9) which in turn is provided with two diametrically opposite windows (17) and (19), the first of which faces the window (16) during the container-filling phases and is located diametrically opposite during the temporary-sealing phases, implementing a hermetic sealing; while in the second window there is located a blocking button (22) which, after the final filling of the container, is capable of being moved inside, immovably blocking the shutter disk (9) at the cover (8) and implementing the final, non-workable sealing of the window (16) of said cover.

Abstract: A debris receptacle for attachment to a cutting board comprising: a bag holding frame,a U shaped backstop and attached legs, and a leg holding plate. The bag holding frame being rectangular and made of rigid material such as molded plastic or metal and capable of retaining a standard plastic bag of the sort used when purchasing fruits and vegetables at a food market. The U shaped backstop being made of rigid material such as plastic or metal and having an internal ledge for supporting the bag holding frame and also having parallel extension legs extending horizontally from the ends of each side of the U shaped backstop. The leg holding plate being fixidly attached to the underside of a standard cutting board. The leg holding plate having a pair of flanges located at each parallel edge for releasably retaining the parallel extension legs of the U shaped backstop.

Abstract: A drain saving device for use in a sink having a drain, comprising a framework, and a bag that is supported by the framework. The framework comprises a pair of side supports and a connecting bar that extends between the side supports. The side supports each have a pair of supporting members, each of which have a top end that has a downwardly curving hook. The connecting bar is telescoping for adjusting the distance between the side supports, so that the framework may fit in different sized sinks. The bag has an upper end which drapes over the downwardly curving hooks, and a lower end having a perforated lower surface. Food preparation activities, such as cleaning meat, poultry, and vegetables, may be carried out over the bag, wherein liquids are allowed to seep through the bag and reach the drain, while debris is maintained within the bag and is prevented from reaching the drain.

The receptacle cavity is accessed through apertures in one or more triangular side panels. The receptacle can be emptied through an openable base panel or openable top. Abstract: A container for disposing of hazardous wastes including an inner receptacle adapted to receive and contain the hazardous wastes or etiological agents and an impact resistent outer container with the inner receptacle disposed within the outer container. The container further includes a fluid barrier located between the inner receptacle and the outer container. The fluid barrier acts as an intermediate containment to minimize fluid from passing from the inner receptacle to the outer container in the event the inner receptacle is ruptured.

Abstract: A waste container case for smokers- and/or chewing gum waste, with a bag-shaped inner container (3) consisting of a flame retardant material and containable in a case (1). The inner container is open in the area of its upper edge and closed along its two side edges and its lower edge, and has at least one transverse closing fold separating, in the receptive state of the waste container, an upper reception part for ash etc. from a lower storage part for the storage of ash etc., the front and the rear of the inner container being capable of separation to enable the ash etc. to fall from the reception part into the storage part. The case for the bag-shaped inner container is reliable, visually attractive, simple, inexpensive and easy to handle. The case has a rear wall and a front wall capable of folding over along the side edge of the inserted inner container, the rear wall having an insertion wall part capable of engagement with the front wall at least along the other side edge of the inner container.

Abstract: A combined waste receptacle and advertising display is formed in a pyramidal shape from a single piece of folded material which to provide an enclosed waste receiving cavity and a three display surfaces. Openings in the pyramid walls provide access to a substantially enclosed waste receiving cavity. Advertising information and/or articles may be applied or attached to the remaining surface area of the walls.

Abstract: A medical instrument disposal container has a hollow bin member fitted with a hollow top housing member, the two members having mating flanges with snap lock means for holding them together, the hollow top member further having a rectangular medical instruments entry port which may be closed by a closure lid which has a snap lock type locking means which engages with portions of the top member to affect a substantially permanent closure of the port. Internally of the hollow top housing member, and below the entry port, there is provided a tortuous path means including first and second oppositely inclined barrier walls which block manual entry into the interior of the hollow bin member but allow for the free fall introduction of medical instruments, syringes, sharps, or other medical materials into the storage area of the bin member.

Abstract: A limited access closure cover for an opening in a top of a disposable sharps container comprises a frame for securing to the periphery of an open top of a container, an opening in the cover, the opening having the configuration of a cross section axial view of the syringe body, and finger flanges on the syringe body for receiving the axial passage of the body of a hypodermic syringe when angularly oriented to conform thereto.

Abstract: A table receptacle is for use in a restaurant or banquet hall. The receptacle has a dish body and a refuse retention cap. The retention cap adjoins the dish body and is separable from it. An opening in the cap extends over an area that is less than a parallel area over which the cap extends. Paper refuse from unwrapped packages containing complements to a meal may be pushed through the opening into an interior of the receptacle and retained therein by the retention cap. The receptacle with its refuse contents may be disposed of as a unit.
