Abstract: A phone strap for concealing a mobile phone is disclosed herein. The phone strap comprises a main body and a cover. The main body defines an internal compartment in an upper front section. The main body also has a lens aperture therethrough to the internal compartment. The cover is positioned over the lens aperture.

Abstract: A system for transferring an object from one user to another user that is useful to prevent unintentional dropping of the object is disclosed. A cam is rotatably connected to a structure that is configured to be attached to a first user. A central housing with two ports is configured to allow for the attachment of a tool by lanyard or other means. When the first cam is locked into the one of the housing ports, it cannot be released from the housing unless a second cam is inserted into the second housing port and captured. Once the second cam is captured the first cam is released, thus safely passing the tool from the first user to the second user while minimizing the chance of dropping the tool.

Abstract: A lens and/or a view screen of an electronic device having at least one case can be cleaned by wiping the view screen with a cleaning component wherein the cleaning component is configured to selectively couple to the at least one case or some other substrate using a magnetic attractive force. The cleaning devices may have secondary applications such as securing fly fishing lures, activating or deactivating a device having a magnetic switch, or preventing sunglasses from sinking. They may also be manufactured without a cleaning component for use with the secondary applications.

Abstract: A system includes knobs on an item of gear and a latch attached to a carrier. Each knob has a neck and a head with a larger diameter. First and second sliders fit into a latch frame. Hooks on the sliders form expandable apertures. To attach, the knob is pushed against the slider hooks to expand the aperture. After the head passes through the aperture, a spring biases the hooks together, so the aperture width is smaller than the head diameter, capturing the knob. A carrier adapter adapts the latch to a carrier. Adapters are available for duty belts, PALS-equipped carriers, and horizontal slots.

Abstract: Apparatus selectively attachable to the outer case of a cellular telephone or other similarly sized portable device. The apparatus desirably includes a housing containing an elastomeric band that is principally disposed inside the housing when the apparatus is not in use. When the apparatus of the invention is attached to the outer case of a cell phone, a portion of the elastomeric band is manually withdrawn through an opening in the housing and can be releasably latched in place to form a flexible, continuous loop outside the housing. The flexible, continuous loop can be used as a selectively retractable carrying strap when the cell phone or other similar device is not in use. Alternatively, the flexible continuous loop can be used, for example, to support the cell phone around a user's neck for hands-free use when the user is engaged in other activities.

Abstract: A lanyard with attachment members such as a tool holding member, tether key, or carabiner, is provided. The lanyard includes one or more elastic cords within a sheath. The sheath has a much lower elasticity than the elastic cord. The higher spring constant or modulus of elasticity of the sheath limits the total extended length of the lanyard in operation. The elastic cords stretch to absorb the energy of falling equipment up to the length of the outer sheath. The attachment members may be attached to the sheath or may include components of the sheath and or the elastic cord. The lanyard allows for an elastic response to absorb the energy of a falling tool and a restraint to the total extended length of the lanyard.

Abstract: A holding apparatus for being detachably attached to a machine tool housing of a machine tool and for receiving a hook for hanging the machine tool from the hook is provided. The holding apparatus has a fastening portion for fastening the holding apparatus to the machine tool housing, a securing device for securing the holding apparatus on the machine tool housing, and a receiving portion which has an opening and is intended for receiving and rotatably supporting an insertion portion of the hook, the receiving portion defining an axial direction.

Abstract: A composite structure and article of manufacture for a detachable carrier for beach badge or pool tag are disclosed. In various embodiments, a composite structure having a clip, a strap and a body arranged as a carrier for a metal pin badge that can be easily attached and detached in its entirety is disclosed. The composite structure further comprises front and back sides and an inner layer. At the top of the composite structure, the strap forms a larger loop that is used to attach the composite structure to a clip or device. At the far end of the composite structure, the beach badge is mounted onto the composite structure by inserting the metal pin of the badge through one of the insertion point created by one or more delimiters.

Abstract: Embodiments of a strap assembly system for a golf bag are described herein. The strap assembly system can be converted between a single-strap configuration or a double-strap configuration. The strap assembly system comprises a first strap, a second strap, and a back puck. The back puck comprises first and second attachment openings for securing the first strap. The back puck further comprises first and second side openings that define a linear pathway and are configured to receive the second strap. The second strap can move freely along the linear pathway.

Abstract: A portable pen-type drug injection device (300) comprises a main portion (301) and a clip (360). The clip comprises a base portion mounted to a portion of the drug delivery device, and a clip gripping portion with a free end. The device further comprises drug expelling means having dose setting means (340) allowing a user to set a dose of drug to be expelled, and a piston rod adapted to move a piston of a loaded cartridge in a distal direction to thereby expel drug from the cartridge. Electronic circuitry comprises sensor means adapted to detect a set and/or an expelled dose, and a display (374) is provided to display dose-related values, wherein at least a portion of the display is arranged in the flexible clip main portion.

Abstract: An apparatus having a holster to receive an appliance in slidable engagement, an engagement apparatus to hold the appliance in engagement with the holster, a clip sized and shaped to attach to the article of clothing, and a retainer assembly configured to releasably attach the holster to the clip, the clip having a body with a proximal end, a tongue extending from the proximal end to engage with the article of clothing, and a receiver that receives the projection on the holster, the receiver having a through-opening and structured to position the projection against the tongue as the projection is engaged with the receiver to preload the tongue and apply pressure to the article of clothing in response to positioning the article of clothing between the tongue and the projection and thereby retain the clip in positive engagement with the article of clothing.

Abstract: A lanyard with attachment members such as a tool holding member, tether key, or carabiner, is provided. The lanyard includes one or more elastic cords within a sheath. The sheath has a much lower elasticity than the elastic cord. The higher spring constant or modulus of elasticity of the sheath limits the total extended length of the lanyard in operation. The elastic cords stretch to absorb the energy of falling equipment up to the length of the outer sheath. Abstract: The present invention provides a root canal length measuring device including: a measuring module configured to include a file hook electrically connected to an endodontic file, and a lip hook to be connected to a lip or a gum; a control module configured to measure the value of impedance which varies as the file moves from the surface of a tooth toward the apex of the root of the tooth, and provide an image signal or a sound signal representing information on the position of the apex of the root and information on the length of the apex of the root; and a communication module configured to receive the image signal or the sound signal from the control module, and wirelessly transmit the received signal to a smart device in real time.

Abstract: A head support system may include a clip having a front member, a back member, and a joining member. The joining member of the clip connects the front and back members so that the front, back, and joining members define a U-shaped channel therebetween that is sized to receive a portion of the article of head wear. A first attachment member is mounted to the back member of the clip. A second attachment member is releasably engageable with the first attachment member so that when the first and second attachment members are engaged with one another they provide a holding force in a range of about 5.3-42.7 N. An adhesive provided on a back side of the second attachment member mounts the second attachment member to a seat back.

Abstract: A phone case designed to secure a phone to a user's hand while permitting the user to readily rotate the phone and case relative to his hand without requiring the user to release the phone from his hand. A case body has at least one slot, a portion of which is arcuate. A strap extends from a strap connector on the inside of the case body, outwardly through one of the slots, across a portion of the outside of the case body, inwardly through a slot, and to a strap connector on the inside of the case body. The size of the strap permits a user to slide one or more fingers between the strap and the outside of the case body. The strap slides within the slot(s) when the phone case is rotated relative to a user's hand.

Abstract: A swiveling strap extension device and method of use is operable with an instrument strap. The extension device comprises a flat, elongated longitudinal member having an instrument end that attaches to an instrument. The instrument end has size-adjustable eyelets that fasten to the instrument at mount buttons. The swivel end has a terminus section and a body section. The terminus section attaches to a free end of the instrument strap. A swivel-coupling connects the terminus and body sections. The swivel coupling swivels up to 360°, allowing the terminus section to rotate correspondingly. The swivel-coupling is disposed at a fixed length from the instrument. The fixed length is defined as the distance from the eyelets to the terminus section of the swivel end. The fixed length enables the swivel-coupling to be disposed approximately in an open space that forms between the instrument and the back of an instrument operator.

Abstract: A plugging rod connector includes a long plugging rod and a buckle device configured on the plugging rod. The buckle device has a positioning component on the top of the plugging rod. A crevice is formed between the positioning component and plugging rod. The two sides of the positioning component are respectively configured with a first locking component. An operation component having an operational portion is pivoted on the positioning component. The two sides of the operational portion are respectively configured with two parallel extension rods. A pivot shaft has its two ends being respectively perpendicular to the corresponding extension rods, making the operation component into a square-mouth shaped structure. The inner sides of the extension rods are respectively configured with a second locking component. The two second locking components are locked onto the corresponding first locking components, so that the operation component is temporarily unable to rotate or swing.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a holster device. The holster device includes an arcuate shaft, a first end of the arcuate shaft connected to a first end of a cradle, a second end of the arcuate shaft connected to a handle support and a central portion of the arcuate shaft formed between the first end of the arcuate shaft and the second end of the arcuate shaft, the cradle configured to contact a tool in a central portion of the cradle, wherein a central portion of the cradle is at an angle that is substantially perpendicular to the first end of the arcuate shaft and the handle support configured to contact the tool in a central portion of the handle support, wherein a central portion of the handle support is at an angle that is substantially perpendicular to the central portion of the arcuate shaft.

Abstract: An illuminated instrument strap. The illuminated instrument strap includes an instrument strap having a fastener to removably secure the illuminated instrument strap to an instrument. A light operably connected to a control box is disposed along the length of the instrument strap. The control box includes a logic that is at least partially stored in a non-transitory computer readable medium and that, when executed at least in part by a controller, causes the light to illuminate in a pre-programmed pattern. In another embodiment, the control box includes a microphone, that transmits audio input information to a controller, causing the controller to synchronize an illumination of the light to the audio input information in a music visualization pattern.

Abstract: The smartphone case has a compartment for a smartphone and also includes a hook which can be moved between a collapsed orientation adjacent to a rear surface of the smartphone case and a deployed orientation. In the deployed orientation, the hook can be placed over a wall or other elevated structure and the smartphone within the case can be suspended below. Alternatively, the smartphone can rest up from an edge thereof placed upon an underlying surface, and the hook positioned to also rest upon the underlying surface. The hook can both pivot and swivel in preferred embodiments, so that it can be positioned optimally to support the smartphone in a desired orientation. An optional second hook can also be provided. The rear surface preferably includes a recess therein to allow at least portions of the hook to be nested within the recess when in the collapsed orientation.

Abstract: A hand tool with a lanyard attachment point has a hand tool body and a working side extending along a portion of the hand tool body and has a straight edge. A pin receiving recess in the hand tool body is parallel to and spaced from the straight edge. A channel extends into the working side transverse to the straight edge and intersects the pin receiving recess. A lanyard loop has an elongated, rigid loop body with a lanyard attaching loop end and a tool attaching end opposite the lanyard attaching loop end. The tool attaching end has a through opening transverse to the loop body where the tool attaching end is disposed in the first channel with the through opening aligned with the pin receiving recess. An anchor pin in the pin receiving recess retains the lanyard loop by extending through the through opening of the tool attaching end.

Abstract: A flexible strap connector is disclosed. The connector comprises a strap having a buckle head at one end and a tongue at the opposite end. Ratchet teeth extend on one side of the strap and the ratchet teeth cooperate with the buckle head to permit movement of the strap in a first direction and to prevent movement of the strap in a second direction. A second slot is formed in the strap itself and it is a non-locking slot. When the strap is in the second slot, the strap is free to move further into the slot and free to be withdrawn from the slot. Embodiments where the buckle head and ratchet teeth are replaced with hook and loop fasteners are also disclosed.

Abstract: A portable electronic device may have a clip. The clip may be mounted to a housing using hinge structures. The hinge structures may bias the clip towards a closed position. The clip may be opened to attach the portable electronic device to an object. When in the closed position, the clip may lie flush with the exterior of the device housing. Clip biasing may be provided using a torsion spring, a coil spring, a ribbon spring, a clip with built-in biasing, a tension spring, or a compression spring. A coupling mechanism may be used to attach the clip to the housing. The coupling mechanism may include a ratcheting rotatable mechanism, a fixed attachment structure, a flexible attachment structure, a removable structure, or a structure that includes a spring bias adjustment mechanism. The device may have a button with a touch sensor array.

Abstract: Provided is a system for carrying a guitar. The system comprises a belt that wraps around a user's waist, and a cradle or guitar strap button attached to the belt that supports the weight of the guitar. The belt comprises an inner belt and an outer belt that is attached to the inner belt. The belt and cradle may comprise additional straps that extend from the belt to existing attachment points on the guitar. The belt and cradle allow a user to support a guitar without the use of a shoulder strap, to limit the strain on the shoulders of the user.

Abstract: An attachment system for tools includes a housing with a wall defining an open central region. The housing has a first slot and a second slot spaced from the first slot, each slot extending through the wall to the open central region. A rotating member is disposed in the open central region. A clip member has a clip protrusion with neck, head and tip portions, the neck portion sized to be slidably received in one of the slots. The tip portion is configured to engage the rotating member to cause it to rotate about a central longitudinal axis as the neck portion moves distally along one of the slots, causing a catch surface to align with the tip portion and a channel to align with a tip portion of a second clip member retained in the second slot, thereby retaining the first clip member and releasing the second clip member.

Abstract: A beverage and pill carrier device attaches to a garment for hands free carrying of a beverage and discretely held medications. The device includes a container for holding a bottle. A hook is coupled to and extends from the container. The hook is attachable to a loop of a garment. A support wall is coupled to a perimeter wall of the container and extends through an interior space of the container. The support wall supports the bottle in spaced relationship to a base wall of the container. A pocket wall has a peripheral edge coupled to a perimeter edge of the base wall such that the pocket wall forms a pocket with the base wall. An opening extends into the pocket for insertion of pills into the pocket.

Abstract: A phone support device holds and supports a phone on or adjacent to a bed. The device includes a tray having a panel and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending upwardly from a perimeter edge of the panel defining a receptacle such that the tray is configured for receiving a phone in the tray. A knob is coupled to and extends from a bottom surface of the panel. A clip having a pair of spaced arms selectively engageable to the knob wherein the clip is secures the tray to a sheet by positioning the sheet between the knob and the clip when the clip is engaged to the knob.

Abstract: A device clip includes a first jaw member, and a second jaw member having fixed end pivotally connected to one end of the first jaw member and a free end provided with a rod member that is movable along the major axis of the second jaw member by an external force and can return to its former position when the external force disappears. Thus, the other end of the first jaw member is detachably lockable to the rod member at the free end of the second jaw member for enabling the device clip to conveniently and steadily link two objects together, for example, to link a camera bag to a backpack.

Abstract: A universal cap to be placed on standard containers for lip balm and lipstick that contains one or more modules that house therein functional items to assist the user for personal health and safety applications. The cap includes modules that contain space for the inclusion of identifying information, interior space for a flashlight and battery, interior space for an audio alarm, an interior space to house medication, a place for a nail file and a place for a glass breaker along with a flange to allow attachment to a lanyard or similar item.

Abstract: A retractor carrying device for personal use has multiple components that allow for easy storage, deployment, and detachment of small items carried inside the device. In one embodiment, the device includes a carrying case having an interior cavity, a retractor assembly having an interior portion and an exterior portion joined to the carrying case, and an attachment assembly connected to the exterior portion so that the device may be connected to a user's belt or strap. A retractable tensile member is rotatably disposed within the interior portion and is moveable between a fully retracted position and an extended position. The device also includes an end fitting connected to the retractable tensile member that is adapted to releasably attach the small portable items. When the retractable tensile member is in the fully retracted position, the end fitting is configured to nest in a recess formed in the interior portion.

Abstract: A belt clip assembly for inside-the-waistband holster/firearm system that is readily adjustable for different angles as desired by users and is adjustable in length in the vertical position. The assembly includes a clip and a base mountable to a holster. The elongated clip is positioned outwardly of the waistband and beneath the belt of a user with a lower tab that hooks the lower belt edge to prevent the same from moving upward when a firearm is withdrawn from a holster, and a spaced pair of prongs hook over the top of the waistband and prevent movement downwardly. A series of vertical fastener apertures extend through the clip so that the holster may be vertically adjusted. Two spaced pegs extend from the base and inserted into peg recesses on either side of each fastener aperture to permit angular mounting between a holster and clip.

Abstract: A hook assembly includes an end cap having an outer periphery. The end cap is configured to be connected to a power tool. A hook is rotatably coupled to the outer periphery of the end cap. An O-ring is positioned between the outer periphery of the end cap and the hook. A protrusion is included on one of the outer periphery of the end cap and the hook to frictionally engage the O-ring to secure the hook in at least one selected rotational position relative to the end cap.

Abstract: The present invention is a holster clip that allows conversion of most generic holsters into a concealable holster which allows a wearer to tuck a shirt or jacket within the waistband of the wearer's pants. The holster clip is fashioned in an “M” shape, with longer inner walls forming a deep passage to allow space for the shirt or jacket and a structure to form a pant clip between a first outer wall and a first inner wall. An alternate embodiment forms the clip from two pivoting or non-pivoting halves to allow for canting and color coordination for further camouflage of the holster.

Abstract: The invention discloses ball projection cup connector assemblies for holding or carrying outdoor recreational equipment, especially gear such a traditional fishing nets, hiking sticks, water bottles or walking staff/fishing net combinations. The pieces of gear have a ball projection that is integral or attached as a separate piece. The cup connector can attach to a person outerwear via a standard clip or alternatively, the cup connector may be incorporated into the clothing of the outerwear.

Abstract: A key-hook comfortably hangs keys and other key-ring accessories within a clothing pocket, which prevents the keys and other key-ring accessories from contacting and wearing out the bottom of the clothing pocket. The key-hook includes a key-ring loop, a curved bridge, and a hook. The hook is connected to the key-ring loop by the curved bridge, which allows the edge of the clothing pocket to smoothly move against the key-ring loop and into the hook. The hook has a shank section, a bend section, a point section, and a gap. The edge of the clothing pocket is positioned within the gap and is embraced by the shank section, the bend section, and the point section. The shank section has a first concave portion, and the point section has a second concave portion, a convex portion, and a rounded tip. The gap also has a wide opening and a narrow space.

Abstract: A fastening tool rafter hook system supporting a power tool includes a power tool round section proximate to a tool handle. The round section has multiple pairs of indexing apertures, each positioned incrementally from a successive pair. A two piece rafter hook system includes: a first piece having a rafter hook band with a semi-circular band portion positioned in direct contact with the round section; and a second piece defining an “L” shaped rafter hook. The rafter hook includes: a first hook portion having first and second indexing bolts connected to the first hook portion; and a second hook portion oriented normal to the first portion. The first and second indexing bolts create detent connections when engaged with the indexing apertures. Connection of the first and second indexing bolts to any pair of indexing apertures releasably retains the rafter hook at selectable predefined orientations on the round section.

The hooks are configured to receive mobile devices and cases thereon in a variety of thicknesses and the extensibility of the body is configured for adaptation to mobile devices of varied lengths. The hooks are pivotably coupled to the body to ease installation on the mobile device and to automatically adapt to a particular mobile device or case configuration.

Abstract: A belt mountable tool lanyard device includes an enclosure having diametrically opposed first and second openings, a plurality of internal dividers within the enclosure forming a plurality of lanyard device chambers wherein each chamber has at least one chamber opening that faces in the same direction as one of the first and second openings and wherein at least one of the plurality of chambers has a second chamber opening diametrically opposed to the one chamber opening forming a belt receiving loop.

Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a reservoir, such as a mud pan, operatively coupled to a light source. The light source can be adapted to illuminate a surface when operatively held by a user. Imperfections of the surface can be more visible to a user of the reservoir as a result of said illumination. The user can remove spackling compound from the reservoir to repair the imperfections.

Abstract: Holders for portable handheld electronic devices. An embodiment has a compartment on a backplate that allows both a retractable cord and headpiece to be stored inside when not used. A spring loaded rewinder automatically retracts the cord and headpiece into the compartment where a hinge attached lid hides and protects the cord and headpiece. The backplate can include an internal inwardly protruding prong that is attached to the cord so that sliding the portable device into the holder plugs the prong into a socket on the device, and sliding the device out removes the socket from the prong. Another embodiment has a portable handheld electronics device holder with a built on bottle opener and can tab opener.

Abstract: A suspender for a brushcutter has a shoulder belt and a support member removably connected to the shoulder belt. A hook member has a link removably hooked to the support member, a hook part integrally connected to the link, a cover having a folded portion that is removably hooked on the link and a pair of projections extending from opposite sides of the folded portion, and an elastic piece having a base end part from which a fixing part extends and which is removably hung on the cover with the projections of the cover folded so that the fixing part is interposed between the folded portion and projections of the cover. A stopper member maintains the link of the hook member removably hooked to the support member.

Abstract: A hands-free mount and a manufacturing method for a hanging structure thereof are disclosed. The hands-free mount includes a mount body and a hanging arm. The mount body is formed by a bottom shell and a top shell coupled mutually. The hanging arm includes a metal substrate and inner and outer coatings wrapping the metal substrate. The outer coating has a chamfered end located outside the bottom shell and inclined at an angle. The manufacturing method for the hanging structure of the hands-free mount uses an over-molding process to fully wrap the stainless steel core, so as to endow the hanging structure with good appearance and soft touch and prevent the product from rusting. Using the hanging structure as the hanging arm, the hands-free mount has improved firmness, appearance and touch.

Abstract: A case for a portable electronic device such as cell phones, cameras, MP3 players and PDAs wherein said case includes material at the corners to provide protection to the electronic device. To reduce bulk at the corners and allow the material forming the case to conform with the contours of the device, the protection at the corners includes strips of material defining apertures there between. The apertures provide reduction in bulk and allow the case to conform to the corners of the device therein. Alternately, the protection at the corners can be provided by other structures co-molded into the corners of the cases. Such structures include material that is of a reduced thickness than other material used in the case, or structures that are formed to conform to the corners of the case. Such structures can be joined to the material forming the panels of the case by co-molding.
