  • Patent number: 10362740
Abstract: In the present invention, the pressure reducing flow path reduces the pressure of an irrigation liquid, and guides the irrigation liquid to the flow-rate decreasing part. The bypass flow path guides the irrigation liquid to the flow path opening/closing part in a state where the pressure of the irrigation liquid is maintained at a pressure higher than that of the irrigation liquid that has passed through the pressure reducing flow path. When the pressure of the irrigation liquid is lower than a first pressure, the irrigation liquid passes through the pressure reducing flow path and the bypass flow path to be guided to the discharge part. When the pressure of the irrigation liquid is a second pressure or higher, the irrigation liquid passes through the pressure reducing flow path to be guided to the discharge part.

Abstract: A self-cleaning nozzle assembly adapted for use in processing pressurized liquids, slurries, etc., which may carry with it particulate matter. A spacing between two nozzle members forms an orifice, and the size of the orifice is adjustable. The nozzle members are spring biased together to reduce the size of the nozzle orifice, but pressurized liquids processed by the nozzle counteract the spring bias force to increase the size of the nozzle orifice. When the force of the spring bias and the force of the pressurized liquid are at equilibrium, the size of the nozzle orifice is maintained. When adjusting the compression force of the spring on the nozzle members, the upstream pressure of the liquid can be adjusted accordingly. In flash evaporation systems, the nozzle can be employed to control the flash point of the liquid by controlling the pressure thereof.

A suck-back chamber formed in an internal channel of the open/close valve and an actuator that operates the piston are separated by a diaphragm linked to and operating with the shaft portion. The shaft portion includes a valve-body-side shaft portion and a piston-side shaft portion. The piston-side shaft portion is loosely fitted to the valve-body-side shaft portion, allowing for independent movement in an axial direction. The closing operation of the valve body involves a two-step operation where, first, the shaft portion, along with the piston and the diaphragm, moves to the fully closed position of the valve body and where, second, the piston-side shaft portion moves with the piston and the diaphragm to increase the volume of the suck-back chamber.

Abstract: A nozzle for generating microbubbles includes a nozzle main body provided with a water introduction port for introducing pressurized hot water from the bottom center of the nozzle main body into the main body. A core cylinder provided with an opening in a circumferential face is inserted into the nozzle main body to form a throttle part between an edge part of the bottom outer circumference of the core cylinder and an edge part of the bottom inner circumference of the nozzle main body. A gripper is provided for pulling the core cylinder in the direction opposite to the inserting direction. Hot water passed through the throttle part is introduced into the inner part of the core cylinder through the opening of the circumferential face of the core cylinder and hot water in which microbubbles are generated is ejected to the outside.

Abstract: A method and apparatus that includes a processing chamber that includes a showerhead with separate inlets and channels for delivering separate processing gases into a processing volume of the chamber without mixing the gases prior to entering the processing volume is provided. The showerhead includes one or more cleaning gas conduits configured to deliver a cleaning gas directly into the processing volume of the chamber while by-passing the processing gas channels. The showerhead may include a plurality of metrology ports configured to deliver a cleaning gas directly into the processing volume of the chamber while by-passing the processing gas channels. As a result, the processing chamber components can be cleaned more efficiently and effectively than by introducing cleaning gas into the chamber only through the processing gas channels.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a chemical liquid supply nozzle capable of suppressing the drying process of chemical liquid with a low cost. The chemical liquid supply nozzle is provided with a cutoff valve and a suction unit that sucks chemical liquid to a suction flow path at a nozzle main body connected to a front end of flow path member. Accordingly, the chemical liquid remaining at the downstream side of the cutoff valve after the chemical liquid is discharged, is sucked toward the upstream side of the cutoff valve and removed, to thereby suppress the drying and solidifying process of the chemical liquid at the chemical liquid flow path. Also, there is no need to block the chemical liquid flow path by sucking thinner at the downstream side of chemical liquid flow path, and the number of dummy dispense may be reduced, thereby reducing an overall operation cost of the process.
