Abstract: The present invention relates to a closure strap for closing packages having a bag-shaped or tubular form, in particular for closing sausage-shaped packages, like sausages. The closure strap comprises a strap body including an elongated stripe portion having a first end and a second end, and an insertion portion having a first end, a second end and an insertion channel. The second end of the insertion portion is connected with the first end of the stripe portion. The second end of the stripe portion forms an insertion end for being inserted into the insertion channel of the insertion portion in an insertion direction. The second or insertion end of the stripe portion and the insertion channel have a substantially round cross section corresponding to each other.

Abstract: The present invention provides a closure having a closing function and reclosability that is gentle on the hands of consumers and can have a low environmental impact. The invention also provides a closure whereby the connection parts in a band of connected closures are resistant to the influences of humidity changes. Abstract: A pull tie is described comprising an elastomeric cord and a slidable stop. The pull tie can be suitable for releasable, multi-use closures for flexible bags and containers.

Abstract: An adjustable bundling device is disclosed that aids in the cinching and un-cinching of one or more items, such as the wrapping of food items in preparation for cooking. A cavity element and a stop element are attached to opposing ends of a length of flexible textured cord. The cord can be pushed through the cavity to form a loop that can hold various items. The loop can be tightened and loosened by sliding the cord within the cavity. The texture of the cord interacts with protrusions in the cavity to lock the cord in place. The cavity acts a type of clench and the end stop prevents the cord from slipping all the way out of the cavity.

Abstract: The present invention provides a nonmetallic twist tie in which the function inherent to the twist tie is of course available and the twist tie is easily made into a shape of being wound in a bundle with no slipping down of the tie into gap, no torsion of the tie itself, no curl, no twining and tangling of ties and no loosening or disjoining from a reel whereby its drawing-out from the wound shape is able to be carried out smoothly. Abstract: A strap-form tie which makes use of self-engaging back-to-back hook and loop material (hooks on one of the tie and the loop component on the opposite surface), with a special tab on one end to facilitate wrapping. The tie overlaps itself and attaches to itself, adjusting to the diameter of the object(s) being enclosed. The tie is untied simply by peeling it apart, and it may be re-used repeatedly. This novel design makes practical many new uses for strap-form ties.

Abstract: A plurality of neck straps are cut from a sheet of vinyl, with each strap having locking ends formed integral with the main body of the strap. The strap has a thin, flat configuration with vinyl surfaces which provide a cloth-like feel.
