Abstract: An adhesive attachment device including a pacifier, a strap assembly and an adhesive attachment assembly. A distal end of the strap assembly is connected to the pacifier. Another distal end of the strap assembly is connected to a hook attachment of the adhesive attachment. The adhesive attachment has a first side having an attachment hook and a second side having a layer of an adhesive. Adhesive can be reapplied to the second side of the adhesive attachment for using multiple times the adhesive attachment assembly. The second side of the adhesive attachment assembly is removably secured to an article of clothing of a user.

Abstract: A ski equipment securement device having a body formed by a C-shaped member is adapted for removable engagement to a pair of snow skis and the poles used with the skis. A strap is engageable around the skis and to both ends of the body forming the C-shaped member to hold the skis adjacent and in a connection to the securement device. An opening in the body of the C-shaped member is sized to hold one or both ski poles and forms a handle to carry the engaged ski equipment.

Abstract: A cable tie safety mechanism configuration is disclosed having a looped region that allows a space or opening within the cable tie such that it can be cut or sheared from a restrained person without the risk of injury. In particular, a safety mechanism is disclosed for a cable tie having a projection or protruding region, wherein the projection extends upwardly from a base region of a cable tie apparatus. In addition, the projection further extends or slopes in a downward configuration or orientation, wherein the sloped or downward configuration forms a hook-like configuration. Further, the projection forms an open space or gap underneath, thereby allowing a user to safely cut the cable tie near, within, or around the space or gap region of the projection without harm or injury to the restrained individuals arm, wrist, or hands, among other advantages.

Abstract: A stopper that stops both seat belt anchorages, namely, a seat belt anchorage for a side seat and a seat belt anchorage for a center seat from rotating relatively to each other is provided. Besides, a coupling portion of the seat belt anchorage for the center seat is arranged such that a force is applied to the seat belt anchorage for the center seat in such a direction as to restrain the seat belt anchorage for the side seat from rotating forward with respect to a vehicle. Accordingly, the seat belt anchorage for the side seat can be restrained from rotating forward with respect to the vehicle due to the seat belt anchorage for the center seat, and an inter-EAP distance can be restrained from becoming short.

The securing arrangement may include opposing front and rear panels, a turnbuckle, and at least one flexible strap extending from one of the front and rear panels and at least partially through the turnbuckle to then be releasably secured to the one of the front and rear panels. Each strap may include a first portion arranged to extend around at least one side of the object, and a second portion arranged to extend over a top side of the object. The turnbuckle may redirect each strap such that the first portion extends at an angle (?) to the second portion. The first and second portions may be adjusted simultaneously relative to the turnbuckle by a user pulling a distal end of each strap to secure or release the object between the front and rear panels.

The clasp mechanism can include at least one protrusion extending radially outward from the outer wall surface. The protrusion can be located at a proximal marginal end of the outer wall surface. The class mechanism can further include at least one indented receptacle located at a distal marginal end of the outer wall surface. The receptacle can extend between the inner and outer wall surfaces. In a closed configuration, the receptacle can be adapted to securably receive and restrain the protrusion therein. In the closed configuration, the strip forms a band around a circumference of the object.

Abstract: An assembly is disclosed, the assembly for providing release structure to a lanyard or strap adapted to be worn on the body, such as a neck strap. The release structure consists of a snap button assembly configured such that the release pull generated by tension in the strap is directed along an axis perpendicular to the closure and rotation plane of the male and female portion of the snap button assemblies. With structure to configure a release pull in such an axis, a safety feature is provided to the wearer such that tension in the strap, when it reaches a sufficient force to overcome the closure forces of the snap button assembly, will release the closed snap button and allow the strap to fall away from the body. Also, as in the case of a firefighter wearing an SCBA fire mask, it prevents the firefighter from being entangled or tethered if the strap were to get accidentally hooked or caught on something.

Abstract: A lift suspender for cameras and the like which can relieve pressure applied to the user's neck and shoulder area by a neckstrap. The lift suspender includes an adjustable strap connecting to a loop on a second strap and a fastening clip. The loop selectively opens and closes to accommodate and secure the neckstrap. The fastening clip allows the present disclosure to secure onto rear waistband or belt of a user. The adjustable strap allows the user to adjust how much the position of the camera or the like in the user's front. With the camera being lifted and the fastening clip secured to the back of a user's pants and/or belt, the weight of the camera and/or the like is lifted from the neck and shoulder area of the user ultimately relieving pressure.

A frangible strap can extend from a first to a second point along the longitudinal length of the tether. The length of the frangible strap can be less than the tether length between the first and second points. A metal clip can be non-releasably coupled to the second connector end by being retained within a cage housing. The connector ends can be releasably coupled to each other by cooperating elongate rails, and with the frangible strap in a non-extended configuration with the first and second connector ends non-releasably coupled associated automobile components. The frangible strap can deform or separate as a result of a tensile force acting on the frangible strap as the tether extends when an airbag deploys separating the automobile components and the connector ends.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a carabiner are discussed herein. While the carabiner can have any suitable component, in some cases, it includes a frame that extends between a first end and a second end, with the frame being defining an internal space, and with the frame defining a gap between the first and second end. Additionally, the carabiner includes a gate that is movably connected to the frame such that the gate is movable between a closed position (in which the gate closes the gap) and an opened position (in which it the gap is open). In some cases, a portion of the gate is configured to divide the internal space into a first and a second enclosure when the gate is in the closed position. Additionally, in some cases, the gate defines an aperture that receives the second end when the gate is closed. Other implementations are described.

Abstract: Described herein is a child harness for use in car seats, child buggies and other devices where a child (or adult) is to be restrained on a seat. The harness design avoids the presence of ‘tails’ or loose endings thereby minimizing any risk of such endings becoming tangled in other objects. The design also allows for a wide variety of size adjustment.

Abstract: A leash attachable animal excrement bag holder has a carabineer for engaging a leash, body-supported apparel or the like, a flexible, resilient and open-biased support hoop, and a bag suspended from the support hoop. A slide has a body and first and second holes passing entirely through. The first hole encompasses the support hoop at a first distinct location and the second hole encompasses the support hoop at a second distinct location. The slide operatively traverses the support hoop and thereby alters a bias of the support hoop from an open orientation suitable to receive or remove animal excrement bags to a more nearly closed orientation suitable to retain animal excrement bags. A coupling engages the support hoop with the carabineer.

Abstract: A system for use with a locker door having an upper divider and a lower divider, the system including a strap including a first portion, a second portion, and a body portion extending an entire length therebetween. The first portion of the strap is adapted to be secured to the upper divider of the locker door, and the second portion of the strap is adapted to be secured to the lower divider of the locker door. A component is included that is adapted to be releasably coupled to the body portion of the strap while the first portion of the strap is secured to the upper divider of the locker door and the second portion of the strap is simultaneously secured to the lower divider of the locker door.

Abstract: A reusable fastener that secures the zippers of a dual closed-ended zippers mechanism in the mechanism's closing position. The reusable fastener secures products that are dependent on the dual closed-ended zippers mechanism for actions of opening and closing from being unintentionally opened. While able to secure zippers of the dual closed-ended zippers mechanism in the closing position, the reusable fastener can also be easily detached. Additionally, the detachment process will not destroy the reusable fastener, enabling the reusable fastener to be reused. Furthermore, since no personally-tailored knowledge or lock-and-key is necessary to detach the reusable fastener, public and safety officials can securely reattach the reusable fastener to the zippers after inspections. The reusable fastener contains a plate that will make the reusable fastener easily identifiable. These advantages of the reusable fastener will provide users of products containing the dual closed-ended zippers mechanism a peace of mind.

Abstract: A piñata rope that quickly and efficiently suspends a piñata from a horizontal support beam. The piñata rope includes a rope, an adjustable cap, a handle, and a hook. The rope includes an adjustable stop positioned within the adjustable cap to limit the length of operative rope and to prevent the adjustable cap from disengaging the rope. The hook secures a piñata onto the rope such that manipulation of the rope affects the height of the piñata. The handle provides an ergonomic grip for the participant manipulating the rope which prevents injury from handling a bare rope.

Abstract: An adjustable strap assembly has a strap, a slider, and an end connector for connection to a garment. An end of the strap is attached to the slider, and the strap passes through the end connector and through the slider. The end connector has a bar around which the strap passes, and defines a slot in front of the bar under an outer plate, such that the portions of the strap on either side of the bar both pass through the slot. The slot holds the two parts of the strap together and flat, making the assembly thinner.

Abstract: A garment-hanging accessory includes a strip of material having a first end and a second end; and a clip having an engaging end biased into a normally closed position and openable upon application of pressure upon opposing levers at an opposite end of the clip, the levers connected by a spring secured about a fulcrum point between the levers, each end of the strip of material secured to a respective opposite side of each of the opposing levers, opposite ends of each lever, not secured to either of the ends of the strip of material, co-acting to define a garment engaging end when the clip is in its normally closed position. The unsecured portion of the strip opposite the clip is suspended upon a primary garment hanger.

The support apparatus may also include a plurality of receiving members, such that at least one of the plurality of receiving members may be disposed adjacent to the first end of the support apparatus. Moreover, in some embodiments, the support apparatus can be configured and arranged to be reversibly coupled to the structure to be supported.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods may relate to a Self-Retracting Lifeline Connecting System (SRLCS) that securely attaches to a fall-protection safety harness, and further provides connections to a plurality of safety devices. In an illustrative example, the SRLCS may include a D-pad adapted for rear attachment to a back-pad of a safety harness. In some examples the D-pad may have webbing apertures through which two sections of webbing may be threaded in a criss-crossed manner. In some embodiments, the D-pad may provide an attachment for a first harness ring. In some exemplary embodiments, the D-pad may also provide a tunnel structure for routing a second harness ring therethrough. In an illustrative example, the tunnel may be located immediately adjacent the criss-cross location of the two sections of webbing, thereby permitting a carabiner to make use of the tunnel to capture the two sections of webbing.

The strap may contain a quick-release mechanism.

Abstract: A strap assembly for securing a vehicle load includes a fixed flat strap secured around a buckle crossbar and a specially configured hook attached to an end of the strap. The parts are configured such that that upon engaging the hook and crossbar there is preferably an interference fit, allowing a major loop to be formed in the strap that will remain securely engaged even when there is slack in the strap. Additionally, the hook/buckle combination is preferably configured such that substantially rotating the hook relative the buckle is required to disengage the two. There is also preferably a second similar hook attached to the opposing end of a second adjustable strap, and a small twisted and/or folded loop built into the strap allowing a second major loop by engaging the second hook with the twisted and/or folded loop.

Abstract: A method for forming a double-sided loop strap includes: receiving a continuous longitudinal strip of loop material including a strip-form base bearing a field of upstanding loops on a fastening side of the strip bounded by opposite longitudinal edges, folding each of the longitudinal edges away from the fastening side, such that the base overlaps itself, and securing the folded edges in place by permanently bonding together overlapped areas of the base to form the double-sided loop strap.

The device for detachably fastening a camera to a carrying strap includes an eyelet piece comprising an eyelet, a flexible extension fixed to the eyelet piece, and a fastening element designed as a stand screw for securing to the camera, said element being disposed on an end of the flexible extension facing away from the eyelet piece. The special feature of the eyelet of the eyelet piece is that it has an opening in the peripheral rim thereof, through which a carrying strap, in particular a carrying strap that is part of another system, such as the carrying strap of a handbag or camera bag, can be threaded.

The gripping assembly has a continuous ring-like member having an opening defined by an interior tapered engagement surface, a disk-like member positionable within the opening. The disk-like member has an exterior tapered engagement surface which cooperates with the tapered surface of the ring-like member. A sheet of material, threaded between the engagement surfaces is gripped by the surfaces. The disk-like member has an attachment means with at least one passageway there through. A flexible tie member extends through at least one passageway of the attachment means and is for attaching the gripping assembly to an object.

An attaching loop properly positions the strap assembly to the seat rail, aids in cinching the strap assembly tight and keeps the strap assembly attached to the seat rail when not in use. The attaching loop never permanently tightens so the strap assembly is always easily removed. The strap assembly is small and light enough to fit in a rider's jersey pocket or under-seat tool bag when not in use. The strap assembly negates the need for bicycle equipment bags. The strap assembly can also secure articles to backpacks, garment belts, car-top racks, kayak grab rails, tool boxes, bags and luggage.

The second end of the elongated strap is extended out a car door leaving the second end hanging outside the car. A retaining strap, defining a series of loops, is attached to a side of the second end of the elongated strap between the second portion of the attaching member and a ring which is attached to the second end of the elongated strap. A fastening member is attached to the ring and is used to adjust the length of the second end hanging outside the car.
