Abstract: An electrical connector having a detachable interface and a permanent interface is supported by connecting the permanent interface to a circuit-board. A first loom end (303) and a second loom end (305) are connected to the circuit board and an over-moulding (404) is applied to cover the permanent interface, the first loom end and the second loom end. The detachable interface is located through an orifice in an item of clothing (410) and the over-moulding is secured to an internal surface of an item of clothing by a first side flange (404) and a second side flange (405).

Abstract: A garment closure is provided for closing a gape formed between first and second panels of a garment. The garment closure has a first retainer including a biasing member, for retaining the first panel of the garment; and a second retainer, coupled to said first retainer, for retaining the second panel of the garment, to thereby close a gape between the lower panel and the upper panel of the garment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a ? fastener connecting member and a fastener slicing piece which are suited with this fastener. The fastener includes a post, wherein outer bosses are provided in an upper portion of the post, with the outer bosses including a first outer boss and a second outer boss, the first outer boss being located under the second outer boss, the first outer boss and the second outer boss being located at different positions in a length direction of the post, and an upper surface of the first outer boss and a lower surface of the second outer boss being used for clamping a first inner flange on an inner wall of a first through hole of a connected splicing piece; and, an outer slab perpendicular to the post is provided in a lower portion of the post, and the outer slab, the first outer boss and the second outer boss are used for limiting the positions of a plurality of the connected splicing pieces along a height direction of the post.

Abstract: The portable purse strap hook is slidably and removably mounted on a purse strap. The portable purse strap hook includes a flexible sheet having at least one releasable fastener attached thereto for releasably fastening laterally opposed ends thereof to form a sleeve slidably disposed on the purse strap. A hook is pivotally secured to the inner surface of the flexible sheet. The hook is pivotal between a stored position within the sleeve and a position extending from the sleeve so that the hook may be used to hang the purse from a stationary support.

Abstract: A material fastener apparatus having one or more buttons which are attached to a first section of the material. The apparatus may have a layer of stretchable material which may be positioned under the first section of the material. The apparatus may also have one or more button holes which are attached to a second section of the material. The one or more button holes may be angled to the horizontal and are configured to receive the one or more buttons. The button holes may also be further configured to fasten the first section of the material with a second section of the material when the one or more buttons are buttoned with the one or more button holes.

Abstract: A fastening system for fastening garment elements, with the garment comprising a button closure comprised of a button and a buttonhole. The fastening system is comprised of two fastening members, each of which has a base element. A base element of a first member is integrated with hook elements of a hook and eye fastener and the base element of the second member is integrated with eye elements of the hook and eye fastener. A fastener button is fixedly attached to a side of a base element of one of the two members, on a side obverse to the integrated hooks or eyes thereon. The other of the two members comprises an engaging fastener aperture, which extends through the base element and the integrated hooks or eyes thereon. The engaging fastener aperture permit the garment button to pass therethrough, effecting a holding engagement between the member and a garment element.

Abstract: A garment button for insertion into a button hole to secure two segments of material together, is described. Generally speaking, the button is a two piece device and includes a first body forming an outer perimeter of the button, the first body being sized to fit into a desired button hole and having an opening defined inside of the outer perimeter, and a second body detachably fixed within the opening, wherein the second body divides the opening to define two distinct and separate openings. The two bodies snap together after passing through a custom strap or loop of material.

Abstract: A garment such as a shirt, blouse, jersey, vest or jacket, having a plurality of fastening points for attachment of a shirt stay, shirt holder or other retaining harness therethrough. The fastening points ensure that the garment remains tucked in to promote a uniform, neat appearance. Also disclosed is a method of retaining a garment in proper orientation on a wearer by providing a plurality of fastening points in the garment, at least some of which are preferably in pairs, such that each fastening point within a pair can be aligned with the other of the pair, and the pair can cooperatively receive a fastening mechanism therethrough to anchor the garment in place. The fastening points are positioned so that when one or more shirt stays, holders, harnesses or the like are properly engaged in the fastening points, a desired appearance of the garment being worn is created and maintained.

Abstract: A closure includes a first section having a bore, the bore having a crimped opening smaller than an inner portion thereof, and a second section having a shaft which is at least partially deformed inside the bore to lock the two sections together. The closure may be a magnetic snap fastener or mechanical snap fastener. The magnetic or mechanical snap components releasably connect a first and second sheet material. The first section of the closure may be an ornamental cap or button. A method for forming a crimped locking bore comprises a tool having a bore with tapered sidewalls to form the crimped opening of the first section of the closure.

Abstract: A cord management system includes a case and a strap. The strap has a first attachment point at a first location on the strap and a second attachment point a second location on the strap. The strap also includes at least two modes of operation. In a first mode of operation, the first attachment point is attached to the second attachment point so that a first segment of the strap located between the first attachment point and the second attachment point forms a loop configured to secure a cord that is wrapped around the case. In a second mode of operation, the first attachment point is detached from the second attachment point so that the first segment no longer forms the loop. In some embodiments, the strap is permanently attached to the case, while in other embodiments the strap is semi-permanently attached to the case.

Abstract: A releasable fastener assembly is affixable through a panel having a front side and a back side and a mounting hole therethrough. The releasable fastener assembly includes a mounting button attachable to the panel back side, the mounting button having a button shaft sized to fit into the mounting hole and a button head with a diameter larger than the mounting hole. A seal may be fit between the mounting button and the panel back side. One part of a releasable fastener is attachable to the panel front side and has an aperture therein in alignment with the mounting hole. A fixing member secures the one part and the mounting button to each other through the panel.
