Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display module, a supporting device provided to support and turn the display module, and a holding device provided for a mobile device to be coupled to the display module. The supporting device rotatably supports the display module and includes a motor providing a driving force to turn the display module. The holding device supports a mobile device so that the mobile device may be coupled to the display module. The holding device comprises a mounting part provided to be mounted onto the display module and a holder rotatably coupled to the mounting part and provided to support the mobile device.

Abstract: A display device stand can include a base that includes a fore portion with an upwardly sloping top surface defined by a first angle, an extension with an upwardly sloping fore surface defined by a second angle that is less than the first angle, and an aft portion, where the fore portion includes a front edge, the aft portion includes a back edge and the extension includes a top side that define vertexes of an acute triangle; and an adjustable support that includes a retracted state with respect to the extension and an extended state with respect to the extension.

Abstract: A retention system for securing a portable electronic device to the work surface can include an elongated member. The elongated member can be adapted to couple with a work surface. The retention system can include a device clip. The device clip can be coupled to the elongated member. The device clip can be slidably engaged with the elongated member. The device clip can be adapted to engage with an edge of the portable electronic device located on the work surface.

Abstract: Among other things, we describe a physical bulletin board. The bulletin board includes at least one physical component configured to interface with at least one electronic component. In some implementations, the bulletin board includes the electronic component, e.g., as a built-in display. For example, the built-in display may be associated with a processor that can run software that augments the functionality of the bulletin board. In some implementations, the bulletin board includes a component, such as a mounting apparatus, that receives a mobile computing device (MCD). For example, the MCD can run software that augments the functionality of the bulletin board.

Abstract: A document holder for a computer holds multiple documents at a single time and provides easy visual access for up to three documents concurrently. The document holder attaches to a computer and has a fully extended position during the time the document holder is in use. Also, the document holder has a stored position which allows it to be compactly stored on the computer when not in use. The stored position allows the document holder to remain attached to, but not interfere with, the use of the computer. The document holder has mount clamps which provide easy attachment and removal to and from the computer.

Abstract: A device configured to retain an informational tag, near a plant in a positioning step and an attaching step. The device includes a display bed that defines a plane. A shoulder is defined on one side of the frame such that the shoulder extends away from the display bed and defines a stop. A retaining finger extends over the plane and defines a surface that faces and is spaced-away from the plane, A cover is positioned near the retaining finger and is movable from a first position to a second position. A prong is positioned on the cover and extends toward the plane when the cover is in the first position and extends through the plane when the cover is in the second position. The retaining finger surface and the display bed are configured to act cooperatively to retain a tag therebetween by friction.

Abstract: A document holder for a computer holds multiple documents at a single time and provides easy visual access for up to three documents concurrently. The document holder attaches to a computer and has a full extension position during the time the document holder is in use. Also, the document holder has a stored position which allows it to be compactly stored on the computer when not in use. The stored position allows the document holder to remain attached to, but not interfere with, the use of the computer. The document holder has mount clamps which provide easy attachment and removal to and from the computer.

Abstract: A flat panel display includes a housing, a support base, a support plate, a connecting plate, and a fixing element. The housing defines a sliding groove and a plurality of holes arranged in a line parallel to the extending direction of the sliding groove. The support plate is fixed at the support base. The connecting plate is rotatably connected with the support base. A protruding part is formed on the connecting plate and is sliably received in the sliding groove. The connecting plate further defines a through hole. The fixing element extends through the through hole and is inserted into one of the holes to fix the position of the connecting plate relative to the housing.

Abstract: A holding device used to temporarily hold a container of popcorn in an upright position using a nearby beverage cup holder. The holding device includes a planar main body with a forward extending, transversely aligned curb with a planar receiving space formed below the curb. Formed on the receiving space is a line of raised teeth separated by indentations and at least one spike. Mounted on the main body is a biased, pivoting clip with a lower serrated edge that forcibly presses into the indentations formed between the raised teeth on the receiving space. Located on the rear surface of the main body is a downward extending beverage cup edge engaging structure. Attached to the main body or the cup edge engaging structure is a handle. During use, the serrated edge on the clip is forced against the edge of the popcorn container to prevent its dislodgement.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a main body, a card holder assembly, and a card holder control assembly. The card holder assembly includes a shaft secured within the main body, at least one torsion spring, and at least one card holder. The torsion spring is arranged over the shaft. One end of each torsion spring is secured to the shaft, and an opposite end is secured to one card holder. When the card holder is secured within the main body, the torsion spring is in a compressed state. The card holder is rotatably fixed in place on the shaft. The control assembly includes a switch, a pulling rod, and at least one latching member. The switch is slidably connected to the main body and moveable between a first position and a second position. The latching member is connected to the pulling rod.

The system has a writing surface which is at least partially coverable by a removable consumer electronic device. Abstract: The present invention provides a device for holding a laptop computer or other portable devices. The laptop is placed on a support having a generally planar surface. A pair of adjustable arm members is pivotally connected to the support. The user may adjust one or both of the arm members to accommodate portable devices of different sizes. Clips or other connectors are used to secure the laptop to the holding device. The clips connect to the arm members and to the support. The clips may have one or more components, and may be configured to slide along the arm members and the support. The support may include a number of projections that can be arranged in an X-shaped configuration. A release plate or other connector couples the holding device to an extension assembly. The release plate provides a quick release from a tilting device of the extension assembly.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying cards and papers in the workplace includes a central shaft portion having a pair of ends, with each end including a generally semicircular ring portion adapted to capture the slots of one or more cards. The central shaft portion may be releasably captured in a channel of a universal mount or a single- or double swing arm portion. Removal of the shaft portion from the channel permits the shaft portion to be split open along a break, thereby opening the rings along breaks in the manner of a split-ring binder. Alternatively, the shaft portion may be used alone (without a mount or swing arms) to hold a quantity of cards. The swing arms may be hinged upon a base portion and attached to the chassis or peripheral surface surrounding a computer video monitor, so that the swing arms and shaft portion can swing forward and around to fit the user's viewing preferences. When affixed to a monitor, the semicircular rings facilitate easy installation and flipping of slotted cards and/or papers.

Abstract: A holder for clamping flexible sheet material includes an extruded plastic, elongated channel member having a base wall having two ends. The base wall is connected at one of the ends to a relatively short, upstanding forward leg having an inner face forming a bearing surface. The forward leg has a free upper end, and the base wall is connected at the other of the ends thereof to a relatively long, upstanding rearward leg having an upper end, and a top wall is joined to the upper end of the rearward leg. The top wall extends down behind the forward leg and has a free end which resiliently engages the bearing surface of the forward leg and it also has a crease or bend line spaced apart from the upper edge of the forward leg so as to define a wedge-shaped opening therebetween.

Abstract: This patent discloses a document holder for a computer monitor. The document holder may include a panel. Attached to the panel may be a bottom extension, a top extension, a left side extension, fasteners having a top arm and a bottom, and a panel movement mechanism configured to permit a user to pitch the panel back and forth and to move the panel up and down. The bottom extension, the top extension, and the left side extension may be moved in and out of slots and positioned to accommodate larger or smaller articles. The fasteners may secure the document holder to the computer monitor.

Abstract: A display accessory for use with a video monitor capable of displaying representations of portions of pizzas of different size which may be ordered by a customer where the representation is displayed true-to-size. Indicia comprising a plurality of concentric shapes is disposed on the display panel corresponding to the sizes of different pizzas available for order. The display panel is attached to the video monitor so that displayed representations of portions of pizza align with at least one concentric shape providing to the customer an indication of the actual size of the pizza.

Abstract: A coupling mechanism for securing an audio/video player onto a flat panel display includes a casing, a hanger assembly and a connection member. The casing is used for supporting the audio/video player in an upright manner. The hanger assembly is attachable to the flat panel display. The connection member rotatably couples the casing to the hanger assembly so that an orientation of the audio/video player relative to the flat panel display is adjustable.

Abstract: A moveable platform for a laptop computer has an angled support base to angle the laptop keyboard and elevate the laptop display monitor. The angled support base forms an airgap between the moveable platform and the desktop to dissipate the heat from the laptop computer. A separate cooling fan system integral with the support base can also dissipate the laptop computer heat. Spherical roller assemblies on the bottom of the platform move the laptop computer around the desktop. The spherical roller assemblies have a Teflon™ spherical ball surrounded by a plurality of Delrin™ spherical ball bearings in a Nylon™ semi-spherical cavity. These non-metallic materials provide smooth quiet operation with minimal frictional resistance and are non-abrasive to the desktop surface. A braking mechanism at the front of the moveable platform lifts the front spherical roller assemblies from contact with the desktop to lock the moveable platform and laptop computer into position on the desktop.

Abstract: A keyboard support comprises a platform for supporting a keyboard, a bracket placed on a predetermined position for locking and stabling the platform by a lock module, a joint module connected with an end of the bracket to be used for adjusting the up/down angle of the bracket, a sleeve having a closed end connected to the joint nodule, a crooked shaft having a end slipped over a opened end of the sleeve to be used for adjusting the waving angle of the platform by rotating the sleeve, and a base used for fastening another end of the crooked shaft to an object, wherein the crooked shaft can be rotated for adjusting the position thereof, thus, the adaptability of the support can be improved for various free-angle and positions adjustment according to the coordination of the joint module, the sleeve, the crooked shaft, and the base.

The holder rod is folded and aligned at the same level of the keyboard, a circular rod base protruded from an inner surface of a main support rod of the holder rod, a long hole disposed on the circular rod base, a groove sequentially disposed on at the bottom of both sides of the long hole and the long hole of the circular rod base protruded from the bottom of the adjusting rod to couple with a locking member for the positioning. A rib correspondingly latched to the groove of the main support rod and disposed on the inner side of the locking member, and pressing against different grooves to drive the adjusting rod to move along the main support rod.

The easel and the support arms are connected to each other at respective pivot connections to provide for angular adjustment of the easel with respect to the arms. Due to the unequal length of the front and rear side edges, documents are supported and presented to a computer user at an angle to a work surface, such that the top of a document is above the bottom of the document. The computer document holder is situated above a computer keyboard, and is in front of, and/or over, and/or to the rear of, the keyboard. The computer user can operate the keyboard and/or a mouse while the computer document holder is situated as described. An optional monitor riser may be used to position the monitor such that the computer document holder does not obstruct a full view of the screen.

The message board can be made of traditional materials, or erasable and malleable metals or plastics, such as acrylic.

Abstract: An auxiliary display for displaying pictures and other material in connection with electronic display devices. The auxiliary display in made in a frame attachable to an electronic display such as a monitor, wherein the frame includes an outer member having an opening, a backing for the outer member for suspending a photo against the opening. The suspension can be against a trap door, which is closable by rotatable fasteners against the backing.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding interconnectable cards on either side of a computer monitor. The holder includes a one-piece construction having a side fold, a pair of ells, a body, and a fastener portion. An adhesive is affixed to the side fold and interconnectable instructional cards are attached to the fastener portion, whereby the adhesive remains affixed to the side fold and allows the holder to be repeatably affixable and removable from either side of the monitor, and the fastener portion allows the user to flip through and view the instructional cards.

Abstract: A media folder or book binder provided with a rotor having elastic bands stretched between pins on its opposite ends has mounting brackets which are mechanically fastened to the spine of the folder. The brackets have trunnions facing inwardly toward the opposite ends of the rotor to journal the rotor. An important aspect of the invention is that each bracket is provided with a shroud which inhibits or prevents bands from disengaging with their supporting pins as a folded sheet is removed from or installed on the rotor under a strand of the band. In effect, winding-up of the bands during relative lateral movement of a sheet still occurs, but the adverse twisting affect of enabling the bands to slip off pins is prevented. The folder has straps fixed thereto and preferably formed integrally therewith at opposite ends of the folder's spine. These straps interact with latches on the mounting brackets to firmly hold the brackets in place mechanically.

Abstract: A typing support is provided as a part of a typing station including a keyboard. The typing support includes a frame having a track and a keyboard support for engagement with a keyboard, a pair of wrist supports, and mounting members on which the wrist supports are carried. The mounting members provide support for the wrists of the typist which allow pivotal movement of one and preferably both hands during typing, and also translational movement along the longitudinal axis of the track. At least one of the wrist supports may be retained in a stationary position relative to the track by a retainer. The relative height or inclination of the keyboard can be adjusted by adjustment feet. The keyboard support may include a support member which pivots relative to a base to adjust the height of the keyboard received thereon, and may also keep a sheet of paper or the like in an upright position for viewing during typing.

Abstract: A device for holding photographs on a video monitor for holding photographs against the front outer surface of a video monitor includes a plate having a generally planer front side and back side. The plate has an elongated portion having a pair of ends. Each of a pair of legs is coupled to one of the ends of the elongated portion and each extends away in a parallel direction. The plate comprises a substantially transparent material. Each of a plurality of panels has a top edge, a bottom edge, and a pair of side edges. Each of the side and bottom edges of each of the panels is securely attached to the back side of the plate. The panels are spaced from each other. Each of the panels is substantially transparent. The panel is releasably securable to the video monitor.

Abstract: A computer monitor organizer assembly for organizing information and implements on a panel couplable to a computer monitor. The computer monitor organizer assembly includes a panel assembly that has a central opening. The panel assembly is adapted for coupling to a computer monitor such that a display screen of the computer monitor is viewable through the central opening. The panel assembly includes a writing board and an eraser. The panel assembly also includes an eraser holder. The eraser holder is for coupling the eraser to the panel assembly. There is also a writing implement and writing implement holder. The writing implement holder is for coupling the writing implement to the panel assembly. Also included is a notepad and a paper holding bracket coupled to the panel assembly. The paper holding bracket is adapted for holding a sheet of paper. There is also a corkboard coupled to the panel assembly.

Abstract: Adjustable display board for attachment to a monitor housing so that items such as notes, calendars, nameplates, pads, mirrors, writing implements, and keys can be mounted adjacent to a monitor screen. The display board can be constructed from molded parts which can flex and/or be molded to fit the contours of various monitor housings. The display board includes a left side frame, a right side frame and a top holder panel that interconnects upper horizontal legs of the left and right side frames. The top holder panel slides along the upper horizontal legs of both the left and right side frames providing the ability to adapt to different monitor sizes and shapes. The top holder panel has retaining edges molded for the purpose of holding various objects such as photographs, messages and other indicia on both of its sides. The left and right side panels provide a surface that functions as a decorative message board and provides a means to attach various other objects temporarily or permanently to it.

Abstract: A visor and document holder for a computer monitor is provided. The preferred embodiment includes a rectangular top member and first and second generally L-shaped side walls that cooperate with the top member to form a shroud extending perpendicularly to the screen plane. Side panels are carried by the side walls and extend in planes generally parallel to the screen plane to block light emanating from behind the computer screen from impinging on the user's eyes and causing unwanted constriction of the pupils. The visor/document holder has a center of gravity that lies forward of the computer monitor, causing a tendency of the device to sag and lose its vertical orientation. A pair of support tabs rest against the front wall of the monitor and prevents sagging and retains the vertical orientation of the device.

Abstract: An organizational device for organizing post-it notes, and the like, includes a planar member, having one or more sides for organizing notes. The organizational device includes an attachment member which is adapted to be secured to a mounting surface, such as the side of a computer monitor. The device may be stationary or rotatable, and also includes a self-contained unit for holding post-it note pads.

Abstract: The present invention provides a flat display with replaceable base stand. The flat display has a flat display panel for displaying an image frame, a support pedestal rotatably installed on the back of the flat display panel, and a base stand comprising an opening which can accommodate the support pedestal. The support pedestal has a protruding portion installed on the back of the flat display panel and a fixture rotatably installed on the protruding portion. The fixture fits inside the opening of the base stand to rotatably install the flat display panel onto the base stand.

Abstract: A combination keyboard support tray and removable document support for use in offices and other similar environments. A keyboard support tray has a base adapted to secure the keyboard support tray to a worksurface. The keyboard support tray has an upper surface adapted to support a keyboard and defining a perimeter having a front edge adapted to be positioned adjacent a user and a rear edge adapted to be positioned away from a user. A document support has at least one clip removably securing the document support to the perimeter of the keyboard support tray. A document support includes upwardly-opening document support groove having a curved shape in plan view to retain a document in an upwardly-extended configuration wherein the document can be readily viewed by a user of the keyboard support tray.

Abstract: Device for mounting a speaker on a display having a back cover and a cabinet mounted on a front of the back cover, including a plurality of bosses formed on an inside surface of the cabinet, vibration attenuation means coupled to the bosses, and holding projections on the speaker fixed to the vibration attenuation means, thereby, attenuating vibration from the speaker by the vibration attenuation means, whereby preventing flickering of an image.

Abstract: A screen border has a plurality of chambers that are arranged around the perimeter of the border. The chambers are adapted to receive appearance-changing objects, such as image-bearing strips or decorative, three-dimensional objects, therein. Appearance-changing objects may be easily inserted into and withdrawn from the interior of the chambers through access areas provided on the border. The border may be integrally formed into a housing, or it may be removably or permanently attached to an existing housing. A hinged connection may be incorporated into the construction of the border so that the border may be temporarily pivoted away from the screen to allow a user to gain access to controls or the like positioned behind the border.
