  • Patent number: 7862285
Abstract: Disclosed is a hoist trolley having a pair of jacking plates with apertures for attaching the plates to a compressor. Fixed to the opposing ends of the jack-plates are telescopic legs with extendable retractable wheels and a screw jack that is used to elevate the load, once the plates are attached, enabling the wheels to be extended. Once extended, the jack base plate is raised with the wheels supporting the load. Transporting the load is accomplished by providing a pair of rails cantilevered from a stand. Also provides are additional elements to enhance the range of applications for the compressor trolley including a pry bar incorporating a motive member whereby the bar can be used in the similar function of supporting some part of the load while moving to a workspace and a depending pivot arm having one element of a fastener, with the other incorporated into an opposing jacking plate. Furthermore, the spaced apart trolley rails can include integral rollers.

  • Publication number: 20100327241
Abstract: An adjustable length jacking column for supporting a cutting or drilling tool between spaced apart surfaces is disclosed. A speed drive serves to quickly adjust the column sections to an intermediate position closely corresponding to the distance between the spaced apart surfaces. A selectively engageable screw drive is configured to shift the column sections from the intermediate position to a secured position, in which the column length corresponds to fixed securement between the surfaces. The screw drive is drivingly connected between the column sections to shift the column sections relative to one another when engaged, and is drivingly disconnected from at least one of the column sections when disengaged so as to avoid interfering with relative shifting of the column sections by the speed drive.

Abstract: A girder block lifting method, which can solve a problem that steel beams are inclined or fallen inward by lifting a heavy material, and a jack-up stage used therefor are provided. The method includes a main beam which can be provided between steel beams being targets of connection with the girder to construct a rigid frame structure, a height adjustment means (gate-shaped base) mounted on a cross beam member being parallel to the main beam and connecting other steel frames for adjusting height to the main beam, a connection beam for alternately connecting the main beam and the height adjustment means (gate-shaped base), and an auxiliary beam for connecting the connection beams. On a frame stage formed by connecting these beams, a plurality of lifting jacks are provided and a lifting sling is hung from upper part of the steel beam to enable jack-up of the girder block.

  • Patent number: 7182316
Abstract: An adjustable support bracket to be used in combination with a support pier or post to support a structure subject to weights or loads. A support pier is placed in proximity to a surface requiring support. At the end of the support pier, in proximity to the surface requiring support, a generally rigid flat surface is placed. On that flat surface are a plurality of support bolts generally perpendicular to the flat surface. The bolts are threaded and are provided with locking nuts. A matching second flat surface is placed above the first flat surface and between the first flat surface and the structure requiring support. A plurality of sleeves are on the second flat surface. The sleeves are sized and shaped for receipt of the support bolts on the first flat surface. The sleeves are slipped over the bolts on the first flat surface, leaving a space between the first and second flat surfaces.
