Abstract: An arrangement for removing dust from the atmosphere during cleaning of a generally flat surface, such as floor, includes a reservoir for providing water to a nozzle. Also included is an air compressor and a compressed air tank. Compressed air is provided in a controlled manner at an elevated pressure to the nozzle to reduce the water to minute droplets which absorb/encapsulate the dust particles and deposit them on the floor surface under the influence of gravity. A manual or automatic pressure regulator coupled to the outlet of the compressed air tank allows for selecting the air velocity and the size of the water droplets to match the size of the dust particles to increase the extent of dust removal. This dust removal approach can be used with virtually any type of generally flat surface and the compressed air has a siphoning effect to increase the water droplets produced and the dust particles removed.

A second tower has a first end coupled to the base and a second end spaced away from the base. The first end of the first tower, the second end of the second tower, and the base are the sole engagement points between the insert and the body.

Abstract: Humidifying apparatus includes a base housing a motor and impeller unit for generating a first air flow. A nozzle includes an interior passage for receiving the first air flow and an air outlet for emitting the first air flow. The nozzle defines an opening through which air from outside the apparatus is drawn by air emitted from the air outlet. The apparatus is configured to humidify a second air flow, which is emitted from a plurality of second air outlets. The second air flow is humidified with water supplied from a water tank mounted on the base. The water tank surrounds at least an upper section of the motor and impeller unit.

  • Patent number: 8491843
Abstract: A jet nebulizer capable of producing a small particle mist for injection into any existing whole room/house/building air distribution system. The device pumps liquid scent from a bulk container through a supply line. The unit is turned on, a flow switch is closed, power is applied to a timer and a solenoid, opening the solenoid and starting the timer. Pressure in the supply line drops and closes the pressure switch which turns the pump on, forcing the liquid scent through a nebulizer nozzle into the air handling system. The pump runs according to the timer, and will continue to run until the timer shuts the solenoid valve. Once the timer shuts the solenoid off pressure builds in the supply line. The pressure opens the water pressure switch which turns the pump off.

Abstract: An evaporative humidifier includes a humidifying element having water pockets drawing water up from a tub and then supplying the water to the upper portion of the humidifying element. The water pockets are formed between first and second covers. A first water pocket formation unit is provided on the first cover, a second water pocket formation unit is provided on the second cover, and the first and second water pocket formation units form the water pockets when the first and second covers are coupled. Therefore, the water pockets are formed through molds having a simple structure, as compared to the conventional water pocket, and thus manufacturing costs of the humidifying element assembly are reduced. Further, each water pocket includes plural sub water pockets formed at both sides of an inflow hole formed at the center of each water pocket, and thus carries a large amount of water.
