The movable lateral stop member is adapted to press the particular bottom deck board member and/or the assigned connecting block members against the cooperating fixed lateral stop member, such that the particular bottom deck board member and/or the connecting block members is/are aligned with reference to a line running perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pallet and retained in that position. Preferably, a movable lateral stop member is assigned to each fixed lateral stop member. Additionally, the apparatus comprises at least one fixed longitudinal stop member and at least one movable longitudinal stop member.

Abstract: Provided is a method applicable to the production of silicon wafers having crystal orientation <100> or <110> and consisting in specifying wafer-supporting positions on the occasion of heat treatment in a vertical heat treatment furnace as well as a heat treatment jig for use in carrying out that method. It becomes possible to suppress the shear stress which contributes to the extension of the slip generated at each wafer-supporting element contact point as an initiation, suppress slip growth and thus markedly improve the yield of heat-treated silicon wafers. The heat-treated wafer obtained by using the supporting method and the heat treatment jig has few slip, in particular has no long and large slip, and is high in quality.

A wheel includes a hub rotatably mounted relative to the chassis body and defining a hub center, and a rim disposed to be shiftable betweena traction gaining position, where the rim frictionally contacts the guiding rail at a tangential point so as to roll thereon, and an idle position, where the rim is disengaged from the guiding rail. The tangential point is in line with an advancing path of the hub center. A biasing member is disposed to bias the hub to move towards the idle position.

Abstract: A panel is slidable on a table saw by means of a roller assembly which is mounted in a groove in the working surface of the table saw. The panel has two parallel tracks for a pair of fence retainers. The retainers are pivotally connected to a fence and at least one is slidable relative to the fence. The retainers may be immobilized in the tracks and also immobilized relative to the fence. A fence stop supports a work piece on the fence. The fence stop has a head to which an arm is connected. The arm pivots toward and away from a work-piece contacting position. The head may be turned upside down and whether it is upright or upside down determines the distance between the work-piece contacting position and the fence.

In another embodiment the carriage is movable by operation of a winch. The trolley is normally used in conjunction with a second like trolley so that the vacuum grips of the two trolleys engage the sheet at spaced positions along the length of the sheet. The two trolleys are preferably interconnected by releasable bracing which can be stored on the trolleys for ease of transportation. In a further embodiment there is also disclosed a glass installation guide to facilitate guidance of a large glass sheet into a frame during installation.
