Abstract: A flying object water game by which an object is thrown or tossed at a framework on which water emitting targets reside. A target framework includes one or more detachable water emitting targets. A first team defends the framework while a second team throws or tosses, from a predetermined distance, a flying object at the target framework and associated water emitting targets with the objective to hit and detach one or more targets from the framework.

Abstract: A water play structure (100) includes a frame base (102), a telescoping hollow frame column (112) supported in a vertical orientation and stabilized by the frame base, and a plurality of frame arms (110, 118). Each frame arm extends horizontally radially outward from, and mounted to, one of the frame base or the telescoping hollow frame column. An outward distal end of a first frame arm includes a first interface structure, and each water play station (108, 202), selected from a plurality of different water play stations, includes a second interface structure. The first interface structure and the second interface structure are standardized mutually compatible interface structures which allow different water play stations to be coupled to, and used with, each frame arm in a modular implementation.

Abstract: A device for bursting an amusement balloon, and that includes a housing having sides that define an open bottom leading into an internal chamber; tape or the like for securing the housing to an outer surface of the balloon in an orientation so that the open bottom of the housing is directed at the outer surface of the balloon; and an electro-mechanical member supported in the internal chamber of the housing. The electro-mechanical member includes a movable plunger having respective rest and extended positions. A puncture pin is carried by the plunger. The electro-mechanical member is activated so as to move the plunger from the rest position to the extended position thereof so as to move the puncture pin against the outer surface of the balloon to puncture the balloon. The activation can be either hard wired or wireless.

Abstract: A pressure-filled container-popping game is defined with pressure-filled containers that are positioned in a game play area behind various barriers. Each pressure-filled container has one or more prizes coupled to it. The barriers have openings or orifices which provides access to a corresponding pressure-filled container through the barrier. A player positions a moveable target arm using a game control attempting to align a piercing member attached to the target arm with a selected one of the orifices. When the player believes the piercing member is properly aligned, an attempt is triggered which causes the target arm to move the piercing member toward the selected orifice. If it is properly aligned, the piercing member passes through the orifice and impacts the corresponding pressure-filled container, popping it and sending the coupled prize or prizes falling into a prize chute. Otherwise, the piercing member impacts the barrier, ending the players game attempt.

Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a substantially flat, rigid platform for supporting a person's weight. A first inflatable tubular support includes a fastener for clamping the platform to a top surface of the first tubular support. A second inflatable tubular support includes a fastener for fastening a top surface of the second inflatable tubular support to a bottom surface of the first inflatable tubular support. The first inflatable tubular support is inflatable to a first inflation pressure and the second inflatable tubular support is inflatable to a second inflation pressure separately and independently from the first inflation pressure to effect a vertical instability and a horizontal instability of the rigid platform relative to a support surface under the second tubular support.

Abstract: An exercise for step aerobics, games, and proprioceptive input training. The device features a rigid platform supported by a resilient inflated tubular sidewall. The sidewall may be of a single tube or a plurality of tubular members engaged on top of each other. Inflation pressure of said sidewall provides an adjustment of the resilience thereby adjusting instability of the platform in the horizontal and vertical directions. Instability in the vertical direction provides a cushioning to users in a step aerobics exercise while instability in both direction provides a manner for a user moving or exercising on the platform to obtain proprioceptive input training.

Abstract: An amusement device for playing a skilled based game, that includes a balloon, a pump for inflating the balloon, a connecting hose for connecting the pump to the balloon, a release value for relieving pressure from the pressurized system, which includes the pump, the connecting hose, and the balloon. The game includes a countdown timer for providing a predetermined game interval, and an activation switch for the initiation of the play of the game and the countdown timer. A first detector is provided for detecting the successful exercise of skill during the play of the game and providing a signal to the controller reflecting the successful exercise of skill. A controller performs a number of functions including, in response to said signal reflecting the successful exercise of skill, activation of the air pump to operate during said game interval wherein the air pump will cause balloon to inflate.

Abstract: An aquatic toy that is capable of maintaining a desired form and position in water, which includes a fabric portion, at least one hollow opening formed in the fabric portion, a frame pocket formed substantially around a perimeter of the hollow opening, and a frame member, wherein the frame member is at least partially contained within the frame pocket, and wherein the frame member provides at least partial form to a perimeter of the hollow opening. The aquatic toy may also include at least one buoyancy element and at least one weight element.

Abstract: A trivia game includes providing a plurality of balloons. A plurality of trivia cards is also provided. Each of the trivia cards has a different trivia question positioned thereon with respect to remaining ones of the trivia cards. Each of the balloons has one of the trivia cards positioned therein. Music is also provided. Each of the balloons is inflated and the music is played while the inflated balloons are hit between a plurality of competitors. A competitor catches the balloon or balloons when the music stops and then popped to retrieve the trivia card p positioned in the caught one of the balloons. The competitor retrieving the trivia card then attempts to answer the question on the trivia card and will receive a quantity of points for correctly answering the question.

Abstract: A balloon-bursting game for providing amusement to individuals at events by striking a pneumatic striker to inflate the balloon until it bursts. The inventive device includes a striker mechanism for pneumatically compressing air into an air tube when struck or depressed, a vertical shaft comprised of a base structure and housing, a balloon nozzle and piercing frame attached to the top of the vertical shaft, and an air tube connected by a nozzle from the striker mechanism through a monodirectional controlling valve and housing to the bottom end of the balloon nozzle. In use, with an uninflated balloon secured to the balloon nozzle, a hammer or similar object, or means of jumping up and down upon the striker mechanism, repeatedly depresses the striker mechanism, forcing air through the tube, valve and nozzle into the balloon, so that the balloon expands to a size sufficient to press against the piercing frame and burst.

Abstract: An exercise platform for low-impact exercises that is of a resilient shell that can contain components, such as liquids, foams, pellets, solids, and gases, but more typically air. This filled shell gives the desired resistance and passivity to the exercise platform and provides a surface that produces low to almost no impact when, jogging, bouncing, etcetera. The platform can have a rigid base or frame with removable or collapsible legs, and/or casters used for height adjustment and mobility. Slots, hooks, or other means can join multiple platforms to form a larger surface for reclined exercises. The platform and/or its frame also has one or more inlets for rigid vertical members that terminate as handle bars or an overhead bar(s) for auxiliary upper body exercise equipment. A decorative cover transforms the exercise platform into furniture when not in use.

Abstract: A hockey goalie-training device for teaching the goalie to keep his arms from moving behind or away from his body is provided. A harness having an arm-restricting bar is attached to a belt worn around the chest of the goalie. The height of the belt around the chest of the goalie is maintained by adjustable shoulder straps, which are quickly and easily attached over the shoulders of the goalie. The device teaches the goalie to keep his hands and arms positioned such that shots cannot be completed by passing a puck between his body and his arms to score a goal. The device also trains the goalie to keep his hands positioned properly on certain movements and saves such that shots cannot pass easily by the goalie, due to proper hand position.

Abstract: The present device is to be utilized in fundraising projects. It has a hollow frame which supports a plastic enclosure. The enclosure has an entrance which can be opened and closed. Once a participant enters the enclosure and closes the entrance, an air blower is activated. With activation of the blower, prize money is circulated within the enclosure, which the participant tries to catch.

Te device contains an inflated transparent sphere containing a plurality of handles, nets between the handles, and a ball on the inside of the sphere. The object is to roll or bounce the ball into the opponent's goal. The game may be played between individuals or teams.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a signal generator for sending an electrical signal upon receipt of an input force, the signal generator having a first outside layer of flexible, resilient plastic with a periphery and an inner surface, a second outside layer of flexible, resilient plastic having a periphery and an inner surface, the first and second layers joined at least at their periphery to form walls defining primary chamber. The primary chamber also has at least one inside layer of flexible, resilient plastic having a periphery and a first and second surface, the inside layer also being joined at its periphery, to the walls of the primary chamber to sub-divide the primary chamber into a plurality of adjacent sub-chambers. A pressurized fluid may be disposed in each of the sub-chambers and an electrical circuit may be arranged in at least one of the sub-chambers, to effectuate the transmission of an electrical signal from the primary chamber upon receipt of an input force within the primary chamber.

Abstract: A game set for ceiling play composed of a shaped lighter-then-air master balloon tethered to a line to be held by the player, and a group of shaped lighter-then-air, free-floating slave balloons which when released rise to the ceiling of a play room. Thus in a fishing game, the shapes of the slave balloons are those of different species of fish, and that of the master balloon is of a standard float at the end of a fishing line. Attached to the surface of the master balloon is a patch forming one element of a velcro fastener, and attached to the surface of each slave balloon is a patch forming the complementary element. In ceiling play, the player seeks by manipulating the tethered master balloon to position it so that the patch thereon engages the complementary patch on a selected slave balloon on the ceiling, at which point the caught slave balloon can be brought down from the ceiling.

Abstract: A toy for inflating and bursting a plurality of ballons and the like comprises an elongated, rigid tube having multiple air-inlet and air-outlet orifices with elongated, flexible tubing connected to each of the orifices. Valves connect to the free ends of the flexible tubing such that balloons attached to the end of some of the flexible tubing may be inflated and burst by a player or players blowing into the other flexible tubing. The rigid tube may be connected in series with other like, rigid tubes such that a plurality of players may participate.
