Abstract: A method and system for organizing a quorum is provided. The method includes requesting, using an application on an electronic device, the formation of a quorum at a predetermined geographic location, identifying a plurality of individuals within that predetermined geographic location, and sending a notification to a secondary electronic device for each of the plurality of individuals, wherein the notification notifies each of the plurality of individuals of the predetermined geolocation of the quorum.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for removably deploying a floor assembly from a compacted state to a deployed state by varying tensioning forces to removably interconnected individual floor segments.

Abstract: A scheduling application prints a portable pocket sized hardcopy of information items such as scheduled items and task lists, and prints the information onto the pocket sized hardcopy in a consistent manner on each visible side of the hardcopy by rotating and inverting the printed material in anticipation of subsequent folding. The consistent manner encompasses inverting and arranging portions of the hardcopy along fold lines to enable folding that results in an upright orientation to the displayed text and figures. Conventional scheduling mechanisms are typically unwieldy to quickly initiate and enter a single item or entry. Electronic mediums need to be powered on, a keystroke, stylus, or pointing device sequence applied to access the corresponding scheduling or notepad application, and the information entered. Conventional paper mediums tend to be bulky and thus typically in a briefcase or purse, and often have binders or covers as well as page tabbing systems that need to be navigated.

Abstract: A method and system is provided for assisting students in organization. A complete system is provided that includes a planner with schedule sheets, folders, and a carrying case. The system is customized for a particular group, including a school district, a school, a classroom, or an individual student. The customization includes assigning a color to each academic subject matter and organizing each schedule sheet in order of academic schedule and by school day.

Abstract: A calendar system comprising multiple (i.e., twelve) magnetic “month” sheets for each calendar month of the year, a magnetic “To Do List” sheet and a magnetic “Six Weeks at a Glance” sheet. Each sheet includes a header section that can variably depict the current month, year and/or day. The system further includes a plurality of magnetic “week” strips for securing to one of the sheets. Each “week” strip includes seven columns each having a day of the week imprinted adjacent thereto. Adjacent each day of the week indicia is a date space to which one of the numbered tabs is secured to appropriately label each day with the corresponding date for the particular week. A plurality of color-coded event tabs are also included for magnetically securing to one of the “week” strips positioned on a “Month” sheet or the “Six Weeks at a Glance” sheet, or directly to the “To Do List” sheet. Each time a week elapses, a “week” strip is moved from the current “Month” sheet to the “Six Weeks at a Glance Sheet.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a system and methods for managing the administration of medication to a plurality of patients who are simultaneously lodged in an institution. The system comprises an information file card which corresponds to each and all patients and a support on which the information file cards may be placed. The method comprises the steps of: providing an information file card for each of the patients; providing a support on which a plurality of information file cards can be placed simultaneously; and arranging the information file cards on the support, in such a manner so as to obtain, in a single display, a quick overview of the medication to be administered to the whole group of patients.

Abstract: A calendar is provided for behavior modification as well as a method for using the same. The calendar has calendar sheets and informational sheets. The calendar has objectives sections, data collection sections, analysis sections, non-date pages and/or detachable pages for use by an individual. The calendar may be customized and/or pre-designed for an individual or by the individual. In use, the behavior information may be recorded on the calendar sheet. Information associated with daily, weekly, and/or monthly behavior may be recorded. The information may include weekly and/or monthly averages and/or summations, delta calculations, and/or minimum/maximum data. The calendar may be adapted to measure or track indicators, such as, for example, developmental progress, caloric intake, amount and type of exercise, amount of fat, sodium or sugar, amount of cigarettes smoked, blood pressure measurements, weight gain or the like. A bottom space may also be provided to record monthly goals and/or objectives.

Abstract: An inflatable calendar formed of thin flexible plastic sheet defining when inflated a fourteen-sided polyhedron enclosure comprising opposite top and bottom hexagonal walls and six consecutive trapezoidal upper side walls extending downward from said top wall and six consecutive trapezoidal lower side walls extending upward from said bottom wall, the mutually adjacent edges of all mutually adjacent walls being sealed together, said polyhedron enclosure further comprising a valve for inflating, deflating or maintaining inflated said enclosure, and graphic indicia on said six upper and lower side walls respectively displaying the twelve months of a selected year, where each side wall displays the days of one month.

Abstract: The calendar of the normally folded type is displayed in an unfolded position on a backboard upon which is pivoted a frame. The frame has upper and lower openings defined by stiles and crosspieces. The back of the frame has a recess sized to receive the calendar in its unfolded position. The openings in the frame permit viewing of the upper and lower calendar sheets when positioned therein. When the frame is closed against the backboard, the calendar is held in position with access to both the upper and lower calendar sheets. The frame is easily opened for adjusting of the calendar sheets.

Abstract: A lesson planner includes a foldable notebook containing a series of transparent lesson plan retaining sheets for supporting lesson planning cards used by an instructor to prepare and present a lesson plan for a class. Each lesson plan retaining sheet includes a first panel removably secured to the binder of the notebook and a second panel hingedly coupled to the first panel. The hinged coupling allows the second panel to be folded against the first panel when not in use, and to be extended outwardly away from the first panel when in use. A releasable fastener temporarily maintains the second panel proximate the first panel when the lesson plan retaining sheet is not in use. The first and second panels of each lesson plan retaining sheet including pockets for temporarily storing and displaying one of the lesson planning cards. Labels adjacent such pockets indicate the time of day each lesson is to be taught; likewise, each lesson plan retaining sheet includes a label indicating the day of the week.

Abstract: An apparatus for collecting and cataloging data, the apparatus comprising a base, an accordion-pleated folded strip mounted with the base and defining sections each having a major surface for the recordation of information thereon, each section hingedly foldable into an overlying position relative an adjoining section to allow a selective upward exposure of a pair of adjoining major surfaces of selected adjacent sections, and an indexing element having a first major surface and a second major surface and mounted with the base for hinged movement between first and second positions, the first position of the indexing element to align with a one of the pair of adjoining major surfaces of selected adjacent sections and the second position of the indexing element to align with another one of the pair adjoining major surfaces of selected adjacent sections.

Abstract: A perpetual symbol coded means for calendaring, presenting--in one embodiment--a two dimensional matrix which graphically presents the basic information of the month, day and date for a given year. Correlation of the basic calendaring data is achieved by way of a matrix, whereby a column arrays monthly data, another columnar arrangement offers day information for consideration and a yearly designator appears as a legend or heading. A method of use, including a means for extrapolation of any desired yearly information into the present invention is taught in addition to software means for implementing the same.

Abstract: The sorting and filing of particular items is achieved using an organizer and a method for organizing. An organizing device having a plurality of pocket enclosures correlating to a specific day of a week or month is provided. Pocket enclosures on each particular date have dimensions sufficient to retain physical items, such as envelopes, bills, etc. as well as additional pockets for miscellaneous materials. The organizing device is designed to hang over a door and may also include appliques to indicate numerals, color codes, appointments, etc.

Abstract: An appointment calendar for a hairstylist wherein a book type calendar is provided having index tabs for the twelve (12) months of the year, and double pages for each day of a respective month. Each day page is divided into a plurality of rows and columns defining rectangular areas for insertion of a customer's name, home and work telephone numbers; and abbreviation indicia indicating the particular service performed on the customer. The margin of each page contains a column with additional indicia, defining the abbreviation indicia in the rectangular areas. The margin of one page also includes indicia indicating the time of day in half-hour increments adjacent respective rows of rectangular areas for the first part of a particular day and the margin of the other page similarly includes indicia indicating the time of day in half-hour increments for the second part of the particular day.

Abstract: A calendar and mail sorting structure which includes a series of monthly calendar sheets joined to a bottom sheet member by a binding along top edges of the sheets and with the sheets being rotatable on the binding enabling each sheet to be successively rotated into a front viewing position. Each of the sheets have a series of rows of slots. Indicia is mounted on front sides of the calendar sheets in adjacency to the slots for viewing when each sheet is successively rotated into the front viewing position at a front side of the calendar. Mail supports are mounted on the calendar and mail supporting structure between the bottom sheet member and the current monthly calendar sheet for supporting mail from behind the current monthly sheet when mail is inserted through the slots from a front viewing position of the current monthly calendar sheet while leaving a part of the mail protruding from the slot at a front side of the current monthly calendar sheet.

Abstract: An automatic calendar comprising a first scroll intermittently movable in a vertical direction and carrying a multiple month display of consecutive calendar days arranged in weeks disposed transversely with respect to its direction of travel; a second transparent scroll intermittently movable orthogonally with respect to the first scroll and having a current day indicator with which to identify the current calendar day carried on the first scroll; and drive and timing means to move the first scroll vertically in weekly intervals coordinated with motion of the second scroll to move the day indicator intermittently in daily intervals from left to right so as to identify in sequence the current calendar day carried on the first scroll.

Abstract: A customized, i.e., personalized, calendar having a plurality of surface sections is disclosed in which name information indicia is presented in one section, important date information indicia is in another section, birthdate information indicia is contained in a third section, and monthly calendar information indicia is in a fourth section. The calendar as customized can be readily printed with a computer-driven printer system. Another embodiment includes, besides the customized calendar, a personalized transmittal letter section and a personalized mailing label section.

Abstract: A sheet for personal time management is provided with an activity section and a calendar section to provide an entire week's scheduled activities over the same working hours each day. A plurality of such sheets can be incorporated into a book so as to provide a permanent record on a day-to-day basis of what is planned to be done and what has been done. The activity section has a wide vertical column with horizontal lines to define spaces in which an activity may be written. The calendar section has vertical subcolumns, one of which designates each day in the time period, while the other contains blocks which are subdivided to designate sequential times in a day.

Abstract: A plurality of sections of portable roadway are removably interconnected for use during periods of adverse weather conditions during which soil conditions are such that it is impossible to build a permanent road, or when the economics are such that a temporary road is advantageous. Each section consists of a hardwood frame which is connected to and supports a plywood surface. At the front and rear of each section, a transverse stiffening bar extends through and laterally to the side of the section. Connecting members are attached between the free ends of these stiffening bars. In the center of each section, a lifting bar is disposed to aid in removal and placement of the sections in an expeditious manner.

Abstract: A programmable agenda which is adapted by the user for use during any month of any year. The agenda comprises a series of sequentially numbered pages, each number corresponding to a date of the month. Each page is inscribed with a row of seven boxes, the boxes on all pages being in registration when the pages are aligned one on top of another. The boxes further define seven columns extending through the pages in a direction perpendicular to the planes of the aligned pages. Each box in a given row bears the name of a different day of the week and the boxes in each column bear the names of the days of the week in sequence. When the pages are aligned one on top of another, a single hole punched through the pages in the correct box will appear on each page in the box bearing the name of the day on which the date of the month inscribed on that page falls.
